KB Home

We live at the intersection of Chinook Drive and Little Deer Crossing in Austin. We have witnessed KB Homes employee, Alicia Fraser, repeatedly speeding excessively on our street leading up the the entrance of KB homes construction site on Little Deer Crossing in Austin, Texas where she works. She drives a silver SUV and her license plate number is STS1534. On Friday, May 19, at 8:50 am my husband, myself, and another KB employee witnessed her crossing the intersection of Little Deer Crossing and Chinook Drive going approximately 45 mph in a speed zone of 30mph. When she pulled up in front of the model home office, I approached her in a reasonable way to ask her to slow down as there are many children on the streets in the neighborhood. She yelled at me, "I'm not talking you today." Most recently, last Saturday, September 23, at approximately 10:30 am my husband witnessed her speed through the same intersection and past our house at an estimated 45-50 mph. He attempted to talk to her about reducing speed, and she refused to roll down her window to hear his request. The intersection mentioned is particularly dangerous as the cross street, Chinook Drive, is very steep with limited visibility. The majority of drivers in the neighborhood drive slowly at this intersection knowing that visibility is poor where the two streets meet. It should be noted that KB Homes has two signs, "Children Playing, Please Drive Slow" posted at the property line of our yard and the KB Homes site. I guess Ms. Fraser doesn't believe this sign pertains to her as she speeds by on her way to an important meeting at work.
