It all started when I was involved in an accident with my 2008 honda ruckus scooter. I dropped off my ruckus at al lamb honda around sep 22-23. Roughly a month and a week later I get a call saying it ready so I go to pick it up and there is still things that are not fixed. One of those particular parts, the service guy told me was brand new (the part that was still messed up). And the thing about this part was that it was damaged in the exact same spot as before only this time it had a been colored with a sharpie or magic marker of some sort. I thought that was shame to do something like that. So after that I started to look for other things that had not been fixed. And sure enough I found 2 more. One was the bar that goes around the head lights, it was still scratched and scuffed up. The service guy said and I quote "I didn't even see that." and the other thing was that the rear fender was still bashed in from the wreck and the tire rubbing against it. So he tells me we will get this fixed and give you a call. So a little over a week later (it is now mid nov), he tells me its ready. So my wife takes me to go get it that night and the things that needed to be fixed were repaired. I ride it home and put it in the garage. A few days later I get home from work around 3:00pm and take it for a spin. I instantly notice the handle bars are a little out of line. So that is the first thing they didn't fix or didn't fix right. So I begin to dust off the entire body, and on one of the front pieces paint begins to chip off. And I notice that the part that the headlights are attached to is bent. So at this point I don’t know what to do with the dealer who obviously doesn’t know how to repair their own brand of bikes. I call and tell them that there is still things that are messed up and he basically says that I did it and want to get it fixed. That comment was rude and an insult to me. He says that he had 3 different guys look at it, all of whom didn’t find anything. He tells me I need to bring it in, and the ins adj will need to come out and look at it, because the account is closed on it. Well the thing is, if I do that then it will be another 2 months before I get it back and I just can’t do that. Anyway dust to warn everyone in the dallas area. Don’t get your bike fixed at al lamb honda. They are not good techs or body repair people. Even though all they do is take of the messed up part and put the new one on. If you cant do that, then no telling what’s going on behind those walls in the service dept.
