This Company Camden is extorting the renters big time in Texas. As well as forcing tenants to pay an entertainment package at the cost of $109.00 . They charge different rent prices for the same apartment in the same complex and say it is market value. They increase the rent by thousands per lease and say it is market value.
This time around they increased my rent several hundred dollars a month and said “ It is market value” . I offer to leave at the end of my lease and they said “ only with a 60 day notice” and I would need to pay $2000 per month for a 1 bed room for two months to leave even tho my lease was completed.
Since July of 2023 and again In October 2023 I was filling the landlord about my plan to move out in Jan/Feb 2024. I had lease expired on December 2nd 2023 and since I was not sure about move date due to job situation until December, the Office manager did Month to Month and put Jan 20th 2024 day as move out date and at the end of December I found out I cannot move out in Jan 20th 2024 so then I corrected as I was still living as I had to extend and on February 1st I called office and emailed as they asked me when you want to move out and I said Feb 7th 2024.
Now they overcharge and it is unfairly for the Feb month with wear and tear charges for living space of 7 years.
I have prayed to my God Jesus concerning this company, this is a sick and ungodly way to extort people especially in such hard times as these. The owners of Camden need to be ashamed, for unfair practices, it has come to the point that love for your fellow neighbor, renters or even humans in general is obsolete. How is it that gas prices have double, food prices have rise substantially and many are suffering financially yet this multibillion company can not have mercy on their renters but instead chooses to extort them at the greatest level they can without any legal ramifications. May Jehovah intervene. This has to end. I pray that some excellent Lawyer hungry for justice pursues this Company and land a Multibillion dollar settlement in a class action suit in Jesus Almighty Name Amen
