3 Strikes and I'm O.U.T.
Scheduling is a slap in the face to anyone who attempts to do business at the Kyle location and I cannot fathom the absolute stupidity of the logic in the "New Customer" Drive.
1. How much are you spending on advertising and financial incentives to get NEW customers in the door?
2. How much time does it take to process a new client vs existing? (by my casual observations during the wait-times for my non-appointment, at a bare minumum 4 times longer than the existing client - just in case you haven't figured that out yet.
3. For every new client that you enroll, have you calculated how many existing clients are walking out to never return? You can add one walk out here.
As an existing client, I am insulted and furious at the disrespect and indecency with which you treat us.
The scheduling issue has been on-going since September. For about 4 days in October, things got better - I went in once where I was #4 in line for Vitals.
Today (3rd strike) I was #20. There were two, and intermittently 3 techs doing Vitals. I observed several (6 to be exact) employees wandering around aimlessly, chatting in groups, wandering in/out of break rooms, disrupting the 2 techs who were actually working the Vitals, I think your own staff is experiencing the frustration of the clients as they are usually a happy, cohesive, and focused bunch. Your drive to cut costs is wearing on everyone.
Today, NO ONE with any sense of urgency, no Manager visible. No smiles anywhere.
During the 4 days in October mentioned above, I guess there were techs from other locations there to "put out the fire". Well, that didn't last nearly long enough.
By my calculations my 12:15 appointment would start at 1:05Pm - this after arriving at 12:10pm.
FIFTY FIVE MINUTES IN LINE TO GET 5 MINUTES OF VITALS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
NINETY (90) MINUTES TO COMPLETE A 45 MINUTE PROCEDURE IS INEXCUSABLE.
I drive 31 miles each way to get there, so before I even start the donation I'm committed to 80 minutes. When I spend that time to get there and experience avoidable delays, needless to say I leave disgusted and frustrated.
No need to respond to this complaint. I'll post it on every social media platform I can find as a warning to other unsuspecting potential donors. I WON'T BE BACK.
WHAT AN ABOSLUTE EMBARRASMENT YOU ALL ARE TO YOUR PROFESSION, YOUR INDUSTRY, AND EVERY PATIENT WHO COUNTS ON YOU FOR PLATELETS.
