Huddle House - Sick hostess

I went to get an order of hashbrowns 11/9/23 to go. (After trying to order online and calling, with no one answering) When I walked in the hostess was just standing there, did not greet me after a few min I asked her if I could place an order to go. She was coughing on everything. Thank God the machine was tap to pay. I left to go to the store while my food was being made. Came back and again she was just standing there. I had to ask her if I could grab my food from behind her where she turned around and coughed on her hand and on my bag! DISGUSTING! I have managed many places including restaurants and I have never seen such blatant disrespect! I'm not sure if it was my race but I will NEVER eat there again!

Huddle House - Service/food

We just went to Huddle House in Odessa TX this morning, Jan 9, 22. Our server was Mitchell. My husband ordered the Sourthern smthrd biscutt and I ordered FrToast 2 eggs wTrkSau. They brought out my food and said they had made the wrong order for my husband, that it would be a little bit for them to make the correct. He said he would take what they made. First issue, completely wrong order. He didn't want to wait another 10-15 mins for them to make another plate. I started to eat my French toast and it was so soggy and mushy I couldn't eat more than 2 bites. So now he has a meal that he didn't order, and I have a meal that I couldn't stomach to eat it was so bad. We tried to get our waiters attention multiple times to refill drinks and then get our bill and couldn't. Overall, the worst experience at a restaurant.
Then to make it even more awkward, when I went to pay with my debit card, it's all done right there at the table with the waiter standing there with his machine. I put my tip in, which was 10% because of the bad service and horrible/wrong food. Then the machine asked, "if I really wanted to leave this amount for tip". None of this should have been done with the waiter there to see it or put me in that severely awkward spot.
The only thing good/correct with our order was the blueberry bites. So, a whole meal wasted/wrong and I still didn't get to eat a breakfast.

I do think we should get a refund for the wrong meal and the absolutely horrible French toast. Now the drinks/muffins were fine.
