To Whom it May Concern,
I'm contacting you in regards to my experience at your Palestine location. I am a 33 year old woman and I must say that this was one of the worse customer service experiences that I have had in my lifetime. Upon entering the establishment there weren't any employees out on the floor, my children and I stood and waited for someone to come from the back to seat us for a good 7-8 minutes. At that point Audrey came from the back, grabbed some menus (excluding kids menus, in which it was myself and 2 children under the age of 10) and asks plainly "table or booth?" This girl did not smile, say hello, or even act as if she wanted to be at work, she looked at my family as if it was an inconvenience that we were there. I chose to be seated at a booth and asked her if she had any kids menus. Audrey didn't say "yes or no" she just walked away and came back with 1 kids menu. I thanked her and she continued to take our drink order. When she returned with our drinks, my daughter complimented her nails, Audrey didn't acknowledge my 9 year old daughter in the slightest degree, at this point I'm questioning weather she has hearing or speech challenges due to the blatant disregard. We ordered our food in which at least 3 menu items that we ordered were not available. The food came out in a timely manner and we began to enjoy our food. My son order the "Builder Your Own Sampler" in which he chose 4 items, one of them being boneless buffalo wings, when beginning to eat my son spotted what appeared to be a mans facial hair imbedded in the sauce of one of the boneless wings. My son showed me and I looked around to see if I could find our waitress (Audrey). I didn't see her anywhere nor did she check in with us for anything we might need. I ordered French toast in which I had to ask for syrup, I wasn't brought the syrup until after this hair situation was addressed. Anyways, naturally I was looking for her to share with her the hair that was in the food, she didn't emerge from the back until we were done eating most of our food and just sitting there. I had to share my food with my son so that he wasn't just sitting there watching us eat. Once Audrey came out, I showed her the hair in the food, she didn't say a word, not an apology, no reaction whatsoever, she just took the plate and looked down staring at me as I requested to order something else for my son to go. She took the order and brought me the ticket with the sampler taken off the ticket, which I appreciated not having to pay for. I proceeded to go to the front to pay my ticket, stood there for few minutes before a young man came to the register to check me out. All in all, the only time anyone acknowledged us politely was ironically when we were leaving, Audrey actually found it in her to smile and wave goodbye. The icing on the cake. The hair found in the boneless wings looked to be one of the cooks that was coming in and out of the back, he had two small children under the age of 5 sitting at a table by the entrance to the back by themselves eating. He didn't have any type of hair guard on his face, he did have a hat on his head.
I'm very aware that I sound like a Karen by writing this letter to you, haha, but this overall experience was just horrible, I had to let someone know about it. I asked the young man that checked me out for a card with corporates number on it. He proceeded to give me a business card with the district managers email information. I wrote an email to the given email address and was repeatedly sent notifications advising that this email doesn't exist. I checked spelling and email address to be sure I was typing the correct address.
Please feel free to reply via email @ [protected]@yahoo.com. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Jasmine Winks
