My Review of Mercedes-Benz of Plano:
Took in the car for check engine light, after repairs the light came back on in March 2011, took the car back, and she spoke to the mechanic in my presence, which stated that the part was defective, but she refused to allow the mechanic to do warranty work. when objected, she walked back to the shop and spoke with tech in private. she came back out and stated that the warranty work can not be done, raising issues with why we complained to service supervisor about her service.this was in April 2011. the car was not fixed, nor is it now. they refuse warranty on their parts, and this service adviser intentionally interfered with technician trying to replace the parts.
it is now 4 months later, and we are still trying to resolve the check engine light issue. I submitted above review to dealerrater.com on 08/19/2011
after filing this review I was contacted by the GM, and as his follow up with his staff, I am now threatened by both service advisers, and was told through the mechanic that they no longer will work on my vehicle, and the open service ticket is closed in retaliation of my initial review of this dealership's service work and it's vicious, vindictive service advisers. they refused to replace the faulty part or make a refund after checking the car for four days, saying they can not find the cause of the check engine light.
I have contacted their GM again and will take this matter up with Texas attorney general's office of consumer division, as well as bringing suit in court to recover the cost of defective parts, and damages caused, because this dealer no longer can be trusted to work on vehicle. I again e mailed the dealership and it's owner F.Ewing, and no responses are received yet, prompting this complaint filing to warn others of this dealer's service practices.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

DON'T BUY FROM EAST-CHARLOTTE NISSAN, CHARLOTTE, N.C
To create the sale to me in 2006, the Dealer Warranty Department put the date I bought my used Pick-up into service as the day I signed the Contract for a 84 Month, 100, 000 mile Full Warranty. In 2011, I should have had about 2 years remaining for Warranty service. I took my Truck to my local dealer in Ohio for the work, and they informed me that the warranty had expired in Feb 2011. I then called East-Charlotte Nissan about it, numerous times, and was finally told that "The sales/in-service Date should have been the day the Truck was first sold, in 2004, and not the date I bought it, sorry, you're just out $1570.00+/-, and the Warranty Manager shouldn't have sold it that way. SUCKER!
BUT, I have told all my friends there, in Charlotte, N.C. about it, and they have told their friends etc, etc. JUST DON'T LET THE SALES STAFF DE-FRAUD YOU AS I WAS, AND NOW, I CAN DO NOTHING, PERIOD! Even after I proved the date as on my contract, they just say TOO BAD!
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THEM OR ANY OF THEIR SUB-COMPANIES!
