Family Dollar

On January 1, 2023 I went to the Family dollar on 13975 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Woodbridge, VA 22191 store # 08739. I purchased a NFL Phil Eagles logo bed pillow and a bag of chips. On January 2, 2023 I go to send the pillow off as a gift and realize the sensor is still on the pillow. I take it back to the family dollar around 10 am in the morning. I explain that I purchased the pillow last night and the sensor was not removed. I asked if the sensor could be removed and she said no, how do I know you didn't steal it. I explained to her that if the young man hadn't been on his phone while he was working with customers this could have been avoided. I left the store very upset to go home and get my receipt. I came back waited in line and I said to the cashier who said she's the store manager, that not all African Americans steal, I don't steal. I asked for the number to corporate then she wants to say. I didn't mean you, I mean customers. I said no you didn't because that's not what you said when I came in earlier. Keep in mind I only had two items on the receipt. She took the pillow out of the family dollar bag and compared the bar code numbers even though it says NFL PHIL STD LOGO BED PILLOW on the receipt.
