I took my daughter for her blood work at Labcorp location on 8503 Arlington Blvd Ste 140, Fairfax, Va. I regret to say that my experience was horrible. The nurses treated my 3-year-old daughter very poorly. First of all, they were inexperienced. The nurse kept poking my daughter arms with the needle because she did not know where to take the blood from while my daughter was screaming in pain. The nurse kept on asking for help from other lab workers because she couldn’t withdraw enough blood and did not know what to do or how to do her job. I couldn’t take it and told them to stop torturing my daughter infront of me. Their reply to me was very rude and said “okay and in front of me, the nurse trashed the blood she withdraw from my daughter in a trashcan. I understand the blood might not hold any value to you but why did she need to trash the blood in front of me after 30 mins of torturing my daughter for that blood. My daughter has three punctured wounds on both of her arms from this incident. I feel like I was discriminated because of my background. And this was my second time at this location with the same rude treatment from the nurses. I asked the nurses for their names and they would not disclose it to me. That told me enough about the location. I am taking legal action because no 3-year old should be going through this. My daughter is traumatized from the experience.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
