I bought a pair of eyeglasses at BJ's, and Dave Kent assisted me in this effort. The frames I ended up with did not have enough width to accommodate my reading prescription, although I did not know this at the time of purchase. When the frames arrived, I realized after getting home that I could not read well, in fact, much worse than my older glasses. I went back to BJs to discuss this, and Dave Kent bent my glasses around, readjusted my nose piece, etc., then said, "I have never had a problem I could not solve." So, I offered to go to my eye doctor to check them. After making that appointment, within 30 seconds, it was confirmed that my new glasses had cut my reading prescription in half, thus, making reading impossible for me... I went back to BJ's, and Mr. Kent told me my office had lied. That she "was full of bull". I chose frames I don't like, and when going back to exchange them, dealt with the Manager, who confirmed that my lenses could not accommodate my prescription, thus confirming that Mr. Kent had lied to me. I would like a refund, if possible.
Claimed loss: Glasses I purchased could not adequately accommodate my reading prescription, and I was not informed of this upon purchase.
Desired outcome: would like a total refund, because this is not right.
