After I did all the work of advertising my unit so someone else could take over my lease early, the management staff changed their move in date and delayed them a month or so I was told. Despite the new tenants signing paperwork and receiving the keys, the management still denied they moved in. I was charged an additional months rent even thought they failed to notify me plus I was told they were going to send me to collections if I didnt pay them immediately upon invoice. When I mentioned that I would have my attorney look into this, they still denied that their staff was incompetent and it was their fault. If I went to my attorney, the manager Alicia said she would NOT email me my invoice for 14-28 days and if payment wasnt received within 30 of vacate day that I would be turned over to collections. And with out an invoice, my attorney had nothing to look at. Shady, greedy liars. Future tenants beware, make sure ALL correspondence is documented via email and NOT verbal commoncation!

RRG also sells your data, real time, to Experian. All RRG communities partner with Experien to capture your monthly payment behavior. Not bad if you are a good resident...or is it? If your data is incorrect due to false charges or other out of the ordinary management by the office staff of Riverstone, it immediately shows up on your credit report. Riverstone Residential Group's screening system uses Experien based credit reports to approve or disapprove your rental at any community. Therefore, if you leave one apartment community under the circumstances described in this complaint, then your credit score already reflects this real time even while you try to go through the legal process of fighting with them. You will most likely be automatically declined to rent at another Riverstone managed property or have a hard time renting elsewhere, due to the real-time updates to your score, via Experien, which Riverstone uses to approve or decline your application.
