Dollar Tree

I shop at this location frequently since it is very close to where I live. I went to here last night on a whim, 6/10/21, after realizing I needed something. I was happy to know that I has 17 min to get there before they closed at 9pm. When I arrive I had 12 min to shop, however there was a clerk standing at the glass doors refusing to let me in. She explained that she was told to stand her ground and to not let shoppers in 10 min prior to closing. I said that's not right since your sign states you close at 9. When I said that I know exactly what I need and I will be out of the store before it actually closes, but she refused to let me in. At this time, there were two people in line and it was moving fast. I told her that this isn't right and she said oh well. This has never happened to me before and I wonder if Corporate is aware of their current in-store practice. I also wonder if they are aware that one of the glass doors have been covered with a wood board for close to two months and that the homeless are allowed to solicite and hang out right in front of the store making it rather uncomfortable for paying customers to shop.
