The reason we bought new windows in the first place was because our old ones wouldn't lock anymore and they were about 30 years old. So we decided to get new windows. We had a couple of estimates and went with Window Nation. The rep brought his sample in to show us and said that the windows not locking would not happen with their windows because they were heavier than the cheap ones you might get at a home improvement store. We have 46 in. wide windows and purchased the double hung like we had with the assurance that we wouldn't have any problems locking them. We have had the problem now for a while and had called in the spring to have someone come out, but life happens and I forgot. Its like there is a 1/4 inch difference between the top and bottom window. We can't get the top one to go up any more and the bottom one has no where to go. We are seniors and this is very frustrating.
Getting through to customer service is not easy. I finally went on the chat and did get an email that they would get back to me. My spam calls are blocked and have no idea if they have tried. I left two phone numbers but my husband hasn't had any calls on his either. These windows are just as hard to operate as our old windows and feel now that I wasted a lot of money 5 years ago. I hope we can get this resolved.
Desired outcome: First to get someone to come out and look at the windows to see why they won't fit together to lock and then Get the windows to lock easily.
