Unauthorised payment of 2x monthly transactions.
On the 28th of April and the 1st of May you deducted R275 from my account (unauthorised) which amounts to R550. I initially agreed to pay the small amount to obtain access to my CV, I had no idea that I subscribed to the full subscription monthly as the option initially indicated a once-off payment. I did not voluntarily subscribe to your platform and will lodge a fraud case with my Bank if the outrageous subscription fees aren't refunded. I need to now try and get money elsewhere as I was depending on my budget having enough money so that I may help cover the costs for my grandmother's funeral.
Desired outcome: I would like to be refunded (both amounts), as I am not financially stable and I still need to contribute to my grandmother's funeral.
Unauthorised Subscription
I have purchased in November 2022 a 14 period of access to the LiveCareer platform for the price of about 2 euros.
Since then, they have charged my credit card once or twice a month with 19 dollars.
On the 2nd of December I have cancelled the subscription, especially because I did not want to use or pay the price of the full subscription, as I did not need it.
Still, the company found it convenient to put me on subscription.
I had my credit card reissued, in order to stop this illegal transactions.
Desired outcome: Regain the money I have lost, which in my currency are 380 lei plus the 25 lei tax for reissuing my credit card
Debit Card and Subscription Issue
Such a Scam Business. I cancelled my subscription several times, but the system does not stop billing me and continues to do so.
They charged me for the first time on November 5, 2022. When I told them there was a technical problem, they refused to accept it and assured me that I would not be charged again.
They have now charged me again on November 8, 2022. After conducting some investigation, I discovered that this firm is also defrauding other clients.
Whoever is reading this review, believe me, you will be disappointed with their service. There is no customer service. They will not accept their fault.
Stay away from this company.

Today I checked my Barclaycard credit account and I noted yet another debit of £13.50 by Live Careers. This in spite of the fact that I cancelled the subscription over a month ago. At the time I contacted Barclay Card and I was issued a new card. Somehow your company has used the new details to take another unauthorised payment. I spoke to a representative Noeia today and she assures me that the subscription has been cancelled and that I will be reimbursed. I am concerned that I have not/will not be reimbursed in full. At no time did I enter the Live Career Website to update my bank details. So how or why this happened is really concerning!
I will be contacting my bank to advise them of this and will contact other authorities to advise of this underhand dealing!
In the meantime, I would like your absolute assurance that I will be reimbursed £13.50 in full and this will not happen again.

Cv builder
I have emailed and tried to call numerous times to cancel the subscription I keep going round in circles. It’s still not cancelled and now I have been charged. I am absolutely lived and appalled.I used the template paid a 7 say fee then emailed immediately stating I wanted to cancel the account as it wasn’t clear how to cancel.
Date was 3rd September 2022 and I emailed to cancel the subscription the same date. I then emailed on the 10th September to say I haven’t heard back. The. I tried to call three times 18.09.22 and it wouldn’t accept my call saying it didn’t recognise my number! It’s all a con
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of fee
I pay for a subscription that I have never made
In April I used LiveCareer to create a CV. I created an account and I gave them my information to download the CV I created. In June I checked my credit card accounts and I discovered that LiveCareer charged me already 2 months for a subscription that I had never made! I contacted their customer service via email and they started asking more information on my credit card saying that they couldn’t find any subscription with my email address and account ID. Moreover, they suggested me to cancel my subscription directly from my account and, guess what?, no possibility to cancel is available! This is the 3 month in a row that I pay 24.99 euros for a service that I don’t use and I have never asked!
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of 74.97 Euro and immediate cancellation of the subscription
They keep charging me for the subscription I never made
2 months ago I used their free online services, to create CV. I gave them my email address to create an account. It was a one time service that I needed. I never went back to their website. After some time I noticed on my bank account that I was charged 20 euro for some sort of premium subscription. They used my credit card details which I never shared with them. The same happened a month later. I asked my bank to revert the transactions but they weren't able to get my money back. I tried to call the company, because I found out this is the only way to cancel subscription. But guess what, nobody responded. I got rid of my bank card, but these people already stole 40 euro from me.
Desired outcome: I want my money back.
Predatory credit card fraud
LiveCareer is consistently scamming people and no action is being taken against them. I have been scammed off almost 3000USD. Livecareer sends no email to anyone confirming purchase. I signed up for something which would have cost USD4. They started charging me USD 38.95 every single month. This was unfortunately linked to an account and not a credit card. Its a savings account which we seldom use. I suddenly discover that there is a consistent charge of USD38.95 every month. So we complain in 2017 and since then we keep chasing them and trying to call them and there is just no action. Now they cancel my subscription and refind two months. This is just unacceptable and I will not rest till this is redressed.
Desired outcome: Refund of all incorrect charges since 2015.
Secret subscription/steal money
Livecareer.co.uk. This is a resume website which steals money through secret recurring bills to people's bank accounts.
They first lured me in by advertising themselves as "a free resume website". After I spent hours building my CV on their site, they ask for 1.45 pounds to download that. Instead of informing me of this 1.45 pound cost in the first place, they only tell me that after I finish building my CV, so that they could manipulate me with that sunk cost.
That was NOT the worst part. After spending the 1.45 pound I forgot about it, until today I saw a 13.5 pounds per month recurring bill from them that already took 27 pounds from my bank account. I checked my recurring card payment list (from Barclay) and there was nothing. It is so strange (and possibly illegal?) that they issue me a monthly recurring bill without my bank being aware of that, as if there were a new purchase every month. Moreover, they send NO notification email or text message about the monthly renewal cost.
To conclude:
1. They fraud people to waste time and finally have to spend money on their site.
2. They give you a 13.5 pound recurring bill for a 1.45 pound one-time purchase, and intentionally make it as unobservable as possible.
3. They do not inform or remind you of the recurring bill. Money taken from your bank account every month, NO message, NO email, so secretly that your bank does not even know it.
I am reporting it to as many agencies as possible. This is truly the most disgusting thing I have seen in years. How is a fraud like this still allowed to exist?
Desired outcome: The responsible staff in the company go to jail, and return the money they stole from people.
Unauthorised payment
Last month I was devoted after cancelling my subscription and received a refund after contacting the CS team. They assured me it will not happen again. It has happened again and when contacting the same CS team, they only reply that I must call them to discuss. When I call the system is busy. I have emailed three times with the same response. This is ridiculous. Why must I be further inconvenienced. This is so unprofessional. I want all the data they have of me deleted including my bank and card details. Not trustworthy.
Subscription cancellation
Hello,
I just wanted to tell you that this is a money sucking company. As per the instructions on their site, it shows how to cancel the subscription and there is no such facility user can cancel . Below instruction is from their site.
Log in > Go to the "Settings" link from your Dashboard > Click "Subscription, " then "Cancel."
2ndly I called them to cancel and refund my subscription they refunded partial in the first month and again they charged for the 2nd month as well. They dont clear why they refund partial.
In addition they mentioned i will receive the email but I never received the email for cancellation. However in their site it is been mentioned that it will be in your spam folder, I i have been checking spam folder regularly and there is no email as well.
It is completely a fraud site and taking advantage of the others.
Thanks,
Niranjan
Desired outcome: keep chaging them and waste of time
Unauthorized payment deducted
Hi
My name is Karishma Pradhan and today morning I received an SMS stating USD 23.95 has been deducted automatically for Account ID:[protected] without my use. On what basis was I unnecessarily charged USD 23? There was no prior mail for the payment. Also, I haven't used live career since 3rd September 2021 then how can they deduct money without informing me? This is highly unprofessional.
All necessary screenshots have been attached.
I need my refund of USD23.
Desired outcome: I need my refund of USD23.
Billing
I have subscribed in livecarrier once and subscribed for 14 days then cancelled my subscription
But after some time they deducted money from my bank
Desired outcome: My money back
I faced a similar issue today. This was highly unprofessional.
Did you receive your refund?
Scam!!! Livecareer charging credit card
livecareer.com is scam.. I pay 1, 45 GBP for 1 weeks.. but they are cunning. they make a cunning agreement. after 14 days, they charged my credit card. What the [censored] with you. I will not use livecareer again. dont use. they make an agreement that is detrimental to us. becarefull
Charging credit card scam!!!
I created an account in May. The LiveCareer website (https://www.livecareer.com/) says that I need to pay $2.95 for downloading my resume. However later I got charged $24.95 monthly till Aug 12 that I "cancelled the subscription". However, there is NO notification on the website saying that once I paid the $2.95, I would agree to make a monthly subscription. I only agreed to pay $2.95. Also on the LiveCareer website, there is no place to display the amounts that I got billed by LiveCareer.
Please kindly request LiveCareer to refund me all the amounts charged by LiveCareer WITHOUT my consent. Thank you!
I would also like to make a complaint about the customer service associate Warren (I was told his name was Warren and he is located in California which I am not sure whether was a lie), who told me LiveCareer as a business will not provide any receipts, because customers can check their subscription notice (there are no such notices on the website, and even there was one it was merely a blank contract without customer's agreement to pay any amount more than $2.95), or credit card bills (which are NOT receipts either). Customers' credit cards are not supposed to get charged without consent.
I found there are numerous complaints on the Internet about the LiveCareer scam credit card charge. "They get you by avertising on gooogle as a "free"rsume site and after helping you with making a resume you must pay to be able to download or print your resume. That is when they get you and start charging you for $39. 95 a month on top of the $2. 99 you authorized!"

What is worse is that LiveCareer collected my personal data and I am not sure what LiveCareer would do to it. I NEVER authorized them to share or sell my data to any third party.
It asks $2.95 to download the resume that I created. I agreed to pay that amount. Then the website started to charge me $24.95 every month from my credit card, and there wasn't any notice on the website telling you would be billed such a big amount monthly. I found it out by checking my credit card bills, after LiveCareer charged me 3 times. The website advertises on Google that the service is FREE. This is credit card fraud. I reported it to my credit card customer service and got 2 transactions cancelled and 1 disputed. And the credit card service would start to investigate it. Also LiveCareer gathered my personal data, I am concerned they would share or sell it to third parties.
There are numerous complaints on the Internet. e.g.

Resume
This company is a scam! They say the services are free, then it went from free to $2.95. However they charged my card $34.95 So what exactly am I paying for? I immediately cancelled my subscription but yet my card is still being charged almost months later they took over 178.00 for service I used once, they kept taking money without notifying me.
The ad says cancel at any time is not true. This company is a scam.
I was charged 24.95 , when I did the 14 day trail.
On the website it says you'll only be charged 19.25, so I decided to go with it and so I talked to one of the support people and they said they don't have to mention that it's actually 24.95, which I only did it cause I needed a job so obviously I don't have money to pay all of that but they said there's nothing I can do so I got fake advertised and ripped off.
Unauthorized charges of building resume

That is when they get you and start charging you for £13.5 a month!
