I purchased carpet and laminate flooring in November of 2020. About a year later the carpet started separating at what I thought was a seam. We called and had someone come out and they used the carpet heat bond iron and a stretcher to bring the seam together. As time went on, I noticed fibers falling out and it was starting to cause a hole in the carpet. I called your customer service and was told that I needed to pay $225 because the warranty had expired. I paid the $225 but I am not happy with your service. When the repairman came out, he advised me that the carpet was not separating at the seam, but the carpet was actually stapled to the stairs. After he pulled the carpet, your initial contractor/installer had actually stapled two strips of carpet to the stairs. This is absolutely poor workmanship and quality. I had to pay for something that was not installed properly initially and not fixed when we called your company out when the warranty was still valid. I sent pictures and asked for a manager to call me, but I have not heard back. I spent near $20000 with your company, and it is unacceptable that this is what my hard-earned money paid for. Your salesman spoke very highly of the quality of the product he was selling and also the quality of your contractors. I have my doubts. Not sure I would recommend 50 Floor to anyone in the future.
