Poor customer service and communications
The Tampa 50 Floor issue at my residence remains unresolved for over four months with no resolution in the near future. On October 26, 2023, I submitted a formal repair request with 50 Floor concerning my newly installed engineered hardwood flooring at my residence, for which I paid almost $20,000. On October 31, 2023, your flooring installation tech...

We had hardwood floors installed in two rooms in February, 2022. Within two weeks our front door was dragging on the wood flooring. Two men were sent out. They removed the door and sanded the bottom. That worked...for a couple of weeks, but then it was dragging again. I called again and was made to feel like it was my fault.
So I posted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
A 50 Floor rep called and asked if I would retract the BBB complaint if they came out and fixed it again. I agreed.
Now, there is severe buckling in the other room. I contacted 50 Floor again and received no response. Attached is a photo.
Desired outcome: Proper replacement of boards

Carpet installation
I purchased carpet and laminate flooring in November of 2020. About a year later the carpet started separating at what I thought was a seam. We called and had someone come out and they used the carpet heat bond iron and a stretcher to bring the seam together. As time went on, I noticed fibers falling out and it was starting to cause a hole in the carpet. I...

Flooring never received, not in stock, not installed!
50 Floor gets you to sign a contract and you are stuck. My elderly mom signed a contract at the end of July. The flooring was ordered and was supposed to be received by tem by now. They said a couple weeks but she keeps checking and checking, emailing and calling. Every week they say it's still not in, should be in next week. Same thing every week. Here it...

I am a senior citizen and I had laminate flooring installed by 50 Floor October 20, 2021. I am dissatisfied and frustrated with the laminate flooring installation service provided by 50 Floor. About 1 1/2 years of them installing the flooring, I noticed alarming issues with the flooring, especially the kitchen and hallway areas, namely squeaking, buckling...

Had flooring installed in my kitchen and hallway in Dec. 2022. It is now coming apart. It is unsightly also dangerous. I am afraid I am going to trip and fall. They said it is a manufacture of the flooring problem and would send someone to check it out. That has been weeks ago. I can get no info from 50 floors. I have called many times but to no avail. The person I call is Charleel Anthony who is supposed to be the assistant general manager. Leave messages never get a call back from her.
Desired outcome: Would like 50 floors to repair my floors I did not give them the run around when I paid them in cash
Arlington luxury flooring
I hired 50 floor yo installed luxury vinyl flooring Arlington style. After install and the workers left, I had yo clean floor and noticed the lines that looked like tank tracks and other lines thst looked like roller lines from conveyor belt. I contacted 50 flooring and I'm being advised this what is called tiger striping and not a defect. Opinions
Desired outcome: New install or refund
Lack of service, lack of information, contract not fulfilled as promised.
The salesperson was very nice, however whoever your subcontractor is should never be hired again. Not only was my order not fulfulled, but one room of carpet was not even listed to be installed; Another room, the carpet was cut wrong, and the contractor wanted me to settle for putting a seam where there was no seam. The order was originally placed 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. The subcontractors called last week to install, did 2 out of the 4 installs and now keep trying to 'placate' me with, well frankly BS. My Christmas is ruined because unfinished/unwanted rolls of carpet are sitting where my tree should be. This is totally unacceptable. I want to pay for the carpet that was installed (the gentleman who installed was the best part of the mess) and I want to cut my losses so I can try to hire someone who will actually finish the job. I no longer trust you people to do anything!
Desired outcome: Present a bill for 2 rooms of carpet, and cancel the rest of the order, and I would like a response Monday 12-26-2022!!
Bathroom Vinyl Flooring Problems
2021 After installing bathroom vinyl wood flooring in both bathrooms, 50 Floors did not reset the toilets back correctly so water leaking caused damage to wood molding, bottom of vanity cabinet and carpet outside bathroom and afraid mold is growing under the new flooring and wall is also wet.
Do not know how long the leak has been leaking, but November 28, 2022 found carpet is wet in hallway outside bathroom, hired contractor to take up carpet to find leak and he discovered the toilet leak.
Desired outcome: WE WOULD LIKE TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE DAMAGES.WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.
Engineered hardwood
I have had the WORST experience with these people that work for this company and are supposed to be upper management. They have demolished my stairs, then Proceed to tell me the 1 day job is going to be a 4 day job and they want $2,800 more to complete the stairs. The woman Emma has been rude and condescending- sending me texts to be petty and leaving voicemails after I’ve asked not to be contacted by her because she threatened to send me to collections for a job that still to this day hasn’t been completed. We paid 70% up front. Their contractor removed my railing on all my lower steps and said he would return to remove the railing from the upstairs where it was left & not I’m being told their company doesn’t do that. They also sent people to my home without anyone there! I received a call from my dad saying he rode by and saw these people in my home on a specific day I told the manager we are NOT available. This has been a truly disgusting experience and I would never ever recommend this company. They have made the renovation of my home a nightmare. I’m so upset.
Desired outcome: Take out the railing that I was told would be removed.
Phenix carpet installation
On 12/16/2021 I signed a contract with 50FLOOR for Phenix N259 Front Runner carpeting and laminate flooring. I showed and informed the salesperson I wanted the stairs as well as half of my house completed by them. The last 4-5 stairs were wood and he said that they could still carpet it.
When they came out around January 7th, they at first said I would have a raw edge against the exposed side of the stairway. I said that would be unacceptable, so they had the edge seamed. It looks fine. HOWEVER, the master bedroom has a seam running thru the center of the room between the bedroom hallway entrance and the master bathroom entrance. It was very high (at least 3-4 inches above) and hard. It was similar to a speed bump. I notified Kea/scheduling and explained the issue. I told her it was visible and palpable seam. And that it felt like there was a piece of wood under it. She said Aaron(supervisor) would come out to inspect. Transferred me to Aaron’s voice mail. On 01/11/22 I spoke to my salesperson, John Torrico, who said he would also notify the office of the issue. Aaron was scheduled to visit on 1/19/22 but canceled. On 1/27/22 & 2/1/22 Hector came regarding vinyl floor issue that was resolved. In the meantime, I saw Juan a few more times regarding the carpet issues. He said the hallway defect was just the edge of the vacuum cleaner marking and not a defect. He also insisted that the “BUMP” was just a crease in the carpet from sitting in the roll to long and that it would go away in time. He ran a handheld metal object across the area multiple times that reduced the height of the bump. But also seems to have made the carpet fibers in that area have a different texture. He also stretched it a bit. He said that since our master bathroom entrance has a “ramp” it intensifies the issue. FYI, the floor to the master bathroom has an extra sheet of ¼ inch plywood so they put a small “ramp” of concrete-like product at the area so it is easier to ambulate with our imbalance problems and my husband’s use of a cane/walker. And, we never had issues with our old carpet due to this.
4/27/22 s/w Gwen/50 floors discussed issues of hallway to run like (defect) and seam down the middle of the bedroom. She requested pictures to review with her supervisor. Upon receipt of the pictures she said it looked like a seam to her, but she was not sure, since she wasn’t at our home.
4/28/22 rec’d t/c from Gwen who said will order hall carpet from vendor due to run like (defect). Will also send Juan to work on seam. I informed her we do not want the seam down the middle of the bedroom as it is not only unsightly but the bump is unsafe to walk over especially during the middle of the night due to our age and Meniere’s disease which causes instability when walking. She said she would have either Aaron on Geraldo (supervisors) call to discuss further. Rec’d call from Aaron/supervisor who said will send Carlos for repairs and inspection on 5/19/22.
5/19/22 Carlos/50 floors came. He confirmed it was a seam. He said they laid all the carpet upstairs in one direction. So that is where the 12-foot seam ended. He said he could just replace the hallway carpet (which he had with him) now, or he could wait until supervisor makes a decision on what to do. He said another option would be to lay the carpet from the hallway (where the defect is) through the master bedroom to eliminate the seam going thru the middle of the room. The seam would then be near the head of the bed close to the wall. He said the only issue with that would be that the nape would be going a different direction in the other two bedrooms. I said that sounded good. He said Aaron would call. Aaron called and Carlos left pending a decision. Per Aaron, carpet is going the correct way “per industry standards”. He said he would come see the issue on 5/31/22. I said I needed this resolved, not just people coming over to assess. I informed him that if this continues to remain unresolved, I would notify his corporate office and the Better Business Bureau. He said that was a good idea and told me to do so.
Desired outcome: Replace master bedroom carpet so seam is near wall by head of bed and not through center of room
As of last week, 50Floor has replaced the poorly installed carpeting in my master bedroom, and the defective carpet in my hall. Carlos did a very good job! Thank you Carlos
Installation
The products are great the work done was solid too. Where 50 Floor falls atrociously short is on timeliness. Sales said it was a 1 day job. Installers said it was a 2 day job. On day one they somehow wound up in Cape Coral instead of Lehigh and were about an hour late. On day two they show up "on time" but at the end of the proposed delivery window and they realized at the end of the job that the transition pieces are wrong. At the end of day two I am promised that it would take only 3 days to acquire the pieces and the install would happen after that. It took about a week and not 3 days (and yes I mean business days). Here we are almost a month after the install began and they are supposed to arrive today to finish. I called several times and got confirmation several times that they are coming. So far today, no calls, no texts, ZERO COMMUNICATION, and the delivery window is fast slipping away. Get it together 50 Floor b/c this issue stands between you being an ok company bordering on terrible or being a great company.
To add to this saga, I just got off the phone with them and am now told (having blown through the delivery window) that they cannot locate my pieces in the warehouse and they think my pieces might have gone out to another job. I am further told that they will now, "Try to get here today."
Desired outcome: Would like for them to come and finish what was started.
My floors from 50floors at Capitol Heights MD
They came out 3 weeks ago to repair the landing by the stair an6 it up again I had problems with my floors from day one the floors I picked out did not have spots in it I sends pictures and frist they said it was a manufacturer defect then they said it wasn't I had an inspector to look at it and was told that the floors was defected. Some of the plank have space in between them and the spot that are in the picture 80%of the floors this bad my husband who is a retired veteran save money to get my floors done we paid cash we are very disappointed
Laminate flooring disaster
I entered into contract with March 10, decided on installation date and was told crew had quit the morning of installation. Disappointed but by making small talk I discovered that that did not have to remove my floor but I had been charged $600 extra for the job. I called 50 Floor and was promised to get a return call within 30 minutes, Its been several hours and my calls are sent to voice mail, Now I am disputing charges with credit card company. Poor customer service, slick salesman high prices. Stay away!
Desired outcome: i would like a refund of my deposit
molding not being put back and floor heating vent gone.
Had carpet put in a room, supposed to be indoor outdoor carpet, had
molding in room, took it up and put some of it back, broke some and
said they would come back to replace it. Said vent broke and didn't
replace. it. Have called and talked to several people. No answers,
except that they do not put molding back w/carpet. Why did they put
some back and not all of it...also no answer on vent. Very bad work
and very bad customer service. I am 88 years old and this is not
the service i expected and what i paid for. Never again will i use or
recomend you. I will be putting pictures on Face book to show how
bad the work is.
Geneva Catoe
Desired outcome: to finish putting molding back and vent replaced
Flooring
Carpet and laminate installed with problems. Three months later and never fixed. Numerous calls but no action. Calls forwarded to customer service which doesn't answer, and messages cannot be left. Very poor in every way. I would not use these people for flooring in a dog house.
Berber carpeting
Oct. 2021 I had berber carpeting installed throughout my home (100 sq. yds.). by end of Jan.2022 developed a noticeable wrinkle in LR. They came out and stretched a section of the rug and tacked it down. this should never have happened. this rug snags easily and I use a "pill" shaver on it regularly. This rug is not going to last long. In the hallway where the rug was seamed, it is very noticeable. I would never recomend doing business with this company, this product is very poorly made. I am sick as can be over this purchase. unless you have money to burn, please deal with a reputable company. the 22 yr. old berber that I had replaced was far better quality than what I now have. I am praying that this monstrosity of a rug will last at least 10 yrs. but I am very doubtful. everytime I see one of their commercials I want to break my tv.
Desired outcome: a refund......or at least 50% refund would help me to feel better about the bad judgement that I made, buying from 50 floor.
Disappointed
Very disappointed in the flooring! Doesn’t match up, the guys got stain everywhere, and I’m not happy with the work that was performed! The team they sent did not speak English so it was very hard communicating about what the issues were. The sales rep Ryan Lacy doesn’t call you back once he has the check in his hand! Have reached out to 50 Floors but have yet to receive a call back! Just a total rip off and now have to pay to get someone to redo the floors after spending over $25k! Over promised and under delivered and I would advise anyone not to use them!
Desired outcome: Someone from 50 Floors to make this right
Wood floors
This is the most unorganized company I have dealt with. We ordered new wood floors to be installed in our guest bedrooms in may 2021. The sales rep came out and seemed great. He showed us some wood floor samples and we decided on one. We were told the floors would arrive in 2-3 weeks and we could expect our floors to be installed in early july. Mid july...

Met with Representative from 50 floors on 9/18/2021. I explained we were going to carpet two bedrooms, but I was remodeling and wanted the first bedroom done first and the second when I was done remodeling. I specifically asked if this was going to be a problem, If so I could wait to order the second carpet. I was informed it would not be a problem.
Carpet is now in, but 50 Floors refuses to install unless they can do both rooms at the same time. Unacceptable!
May be the end of December before I can get my bedrooms carpeted now. I would not recommend 50 Floors at this time. Not due to quality or workmanship, but because of their Management.
Thanks Aaron
Desired outcome: Split order. Perform install on first bedroom now. Second bedroom when remodeling is finished.
