So, I recently had an experience with 6ya (6ya.com) and I have to say, it was quite the rollercoaster ride. My spouse and I spent a whopping 6 hours on the phone last night and I spent another 3 hours this morning trying to get rid of this pesky 'life-lock applocatio'. In the process, we were told to download this application called 'anydesk'. Apparently, their salesman made a mistake and refunded us $647.00 instead of the $47 we were supposed to get. They asked us to go to Walmart and send them a transfer of $600 to an address they would give us when we got there. It was all very confusing and there was a lot of drama about people losing their jobs. To make matters worse, their English was very garbled and it was a stressful process!
Eventually, they hijacked our computer and sent themselves $6000. Can you believe it? Thank goodness our bank didn't honor the request (because of the website). Thank you, Jesus! We still couldn't get rid of the application, though. We tried online with Apple help, but because of the delays in our conversations, I finally gave up.
