I love 7 cups of tea
I love 7 cups of tea. The emotional support is great. The only problem I have been having is sineing up to be a listener

I have been a listener on seven cups of tea since the beginning, when Glen Moriarty lived with his four kids and a wife in Virginia Beach
I have been a listener on seven cups of tea since the beginning, when Glen Moriarty lived with his four kids and a wife in Virginia Beach. I now see that his new address is 222 Avenida Vista Del Oceano, San Clemente, Ca. as given the address of seven cups of tea. This house is well over one million dollar home in a million dollar location. I just calculated the hours i spent on seven cups and the number of people i have helped, documented as a hard working successful volunteer. As a professional I would be paid over $200,000 dollars for my time and expertise.(at least) Documented over three hundred reviews., of highest rating. I dont even know this guy, and all this has come to fruition as to what i thought was happening. I would call it "highway robbery",,, considering all the negative and hostile people ive encountered with the worst of intentions as people seeking help, mostly sex addicts. Hey something is wrong here!

I signed up as a counselor with 7 Cups in 2017, agreed to pay a one time yearly fee, and provided services on their platform for a very brief amount of time, maybe 3 months. I discontinued my work on that site, THOUGHT I had taken all the necessary steps to close my account, but this month, 3 years later, on 3/2 I suddenly see a "yearly fee" suddenly charge to my credit card. I had my credit card company immediately block 7Cups and my money was returned through my fraud protection that comes with my card, but the point here is, 7Cups not only charged me 3 yrs. after I stopped providing services, they also somehow managed to do this with my NEW credit card that was issued to me in January . Please note that I DID NOT go to the 7cups website, log in, and update my profile with my new credit card information. They somehow were able to access my new credit card number, uploaded that to their system, and charged me without permission. If I had not seen this charge on my credit card App, literally 3 days ago, I would have never even realized they have my new credit card number. So, stay away from these guys. Period.
7 Cups is not actually a support site
7 Cups is not actually a support site. It is a site where people are taken advantage of with mental health issues and told what they want to hear so that the site can continue on with people feeling better temporarily short term. If you try to be honest with people, you will end up permanently banned on there regardless of the truth of the situation, despite the common saying in counseling "You either get the truth or you get people to be honest with you. You can't have both.". Here's how 7 cups exploits people: 1. Branding: "verified listener training": you pass a thirty minute quiz with unlimited attempts and you are suddenly able to access the site. Teens go with teens only and adults go with adults. 2. You are expected to solely make the person "feel better", not help the person. The purpose of this is to keep people coming back, as 7 Cups is a for-profit company. 3. Most members do not actually want help with what is happening, instead what they want is for the listener to magically come up with the solution for them without them being able to write about it. There is no constraint system. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. This is about the illusion of a mental health service. 7 Cups is in the business of providing the illusion of peer support by validating the person's feelings and that is dangerous to do to someone alone. Politics surrounds this site so much that it has lost any sort of positive purpose. This "health" site does more damage than good.

I paid 7cups $150 on 11/29 and another $49 on 12/30 for 2 months of online therapy . I have requested the complete transcript of my therapy sessions, which is a part of my health record and therefore must legally be provided to me, multiple times. They claimed they would provide it but then stopped answering me.

Date of transaction 5/10 7 cups has consistently ignored my request for a refund. They say they can't locate my account because they deleted it rather than refund me. They charged me $150 and have not tried to resolve the issue. I have attached a screenshot of my initial message from my therapist as proof of my account existing.

I have attempted to obtain a refund due to my lack of use of the service
I have attempted to obtain a refund due to my lack of use of the service. I reached out 11 days ago and have not received any response in regards to my issue. The company does not have a valid phone number to speak to an agent everything is done through email and I was told I would receive a response within 3-5 business days. I am not sure of what has taken so long but I need some kind of answer.

I signed up with 7cups on the 22nd of July and requested a refund on the 23rd after I realized the site is extremely non user friendly and is not customized to a user's needs. I have emailed the company twice to and they only answered me once to tell me they would find me a therapist, no mention of a refund. I tried calling and no one called me back. I am extremely unhappy with their customer service and want my refund.

I have been trying to contact 7cups for 8 days to resolve a problem and they won't respond. At first I just wanted the issue resolved, but now I need a refund. I paid for therapy on May 3rd and was connected with the wrong therapist. When I tried to fix the problem, nobody would help. I was being ignored for days at a time. All the while, I haven't had access to my therapist. I've attached the emails from May 3rd to today, May 11th.

My name is *** and I created an account with 7 cups in October. I signed up for a membership and had a therapist listen to me for about a month. The app updated and I was unable to reach out to my therapist again. It told me that I had to sign up for a membership, which required me to pay another $150. I decided not to and I was under the impression that the membership was cancelled. I have been billed $150 for the months of December and January, and I would like a full refund.

My name is ***, First of all, I signed up for your program and was not notified at all at the beginning about how much I will have to pay, how do you tell your customers to input their bank information without displaying how much they will pay? Second of all, after signing up I asked questions to a couple of people but no answer was given to me, this is not fair. I want to refund the total amount back to my bank account as you did for others, otherwise I may raise a law suite against your company via my brother who is a lawyer. Thank You, *** support-type : I have a billing related question

I sign up for 7 cups on feb
I sign up for 7 cups on feb. 1st. I received a welcome email with a phone number for billing questions. I had a question and called the number but its for a property rental company not 7 cups. I chatted with the therapist assigned to me and asked for a new number but she said she could not give it out. I emailed multiple times but still have heard nothing. I start to believe that this must be a scam because I cant find anyone to talk to. I have summited multiple request for a refund but still have not heard from them. I googled a new phone number but I always goes to voice mail. I try the number multiple times a day but nothing.

I subscribed to a therapy online company called 7cups of tea
I subscribed to a therapy online company called 7cups of tea. I chose a therapist and should have been contacted immediately. In the meantime I called for several days and only then did I get a response. I insist on being reimbursed. The fee is very expensive at $150 per month. In addition, and most pressing, I have been trying to cancel my membership to no avail... I called for several days and left my phone number. They have a voicemail stating that they will call back but they have not. They sent me an email days ago telling me to cancel online but it is impossible for me to do so. I would appreciate your help in this matter as it is causing me great stress. Thank you in advance.

I subscribed to this app in hopes of getting therapy
I subscribed to this app in hopes of getting therapy. But it wasnt until after i was told that it was more like sending emails back and forth. Feeling mislead i instantly unsubscribed and emailed them. I did not use their service nor do i intend to. They have not wrote back. This happened on august 28th. I see that they are answering other peoples reviews and ignoring my reviews and emails. This is not write to pry on people who are in a hard time as it is. But to ignore someone who got mislead then charged and didnt even use their services is a whole other type of wrong. I just really want my money back. Im a single mother dealing with mental health issues. Im unemployed. I did not recieve any help although paying $150.00. Please help me make this right and restore my hope in humanity! Its not right what this app is doing.

I canceled my subscription on 4/5 and received confirmation via email that my subscription was canceled
I canceled my subscription on 4/5 and received confirmation via email that my subscription was canceled. Since then, I've been charged twice in the amount of $150, for a total of $300. I've reached out through 3 emails, multiple phone calls and 2 voicemails. I have yet to receive a response. I'm looking for a refund on the two payments that were taken out after my subscription cancelation. The service was subpar at best, and there were times during the weekday that I waited longer than I was suppose to for a response which is why I canceled in the first place. Now I can't even get a response from them while they continue to bill me. $150 may not seem like much, but when it prevents bills from being paid on time or basic necessities from being bought, any amount is too much, especially when you receive confirmation that you successfully canceled.
