11/24: I had an appointment to meet with A Brush Above, Inc., but they didn't show up.
11/30: Finally met with them about painting my walls and cabinets. They said they can't do the job until January and asked for a deposit to secure a spot on their schedule.
12/2: I told them I only wanted the walls painted, not the cabinets. They said it could still be done in January.
12/4: I texted them about giving a deposit, but they said they would call later and never did.
12/10: I texted again about giving a deposit, but got no response.
1/4: I spoke with them over the phone and gave them my credit card number. They charged $250.00 on my card and I texted them the paint colors.
1/22: I texted them, and they said they and their crew had the flu.
2/1: I texted them asking about the schedule and when they can start the job. No response.
2/23/22: I texted them asking for a refund of my deposit. They said they would mail a check and asked for my address, which I provided.
3/12: My husband called and left a voicemail asking for a refund. They texted back saying that the check was mailed on 3/5.
3/15: I still haven't received the check.

Date of transaction: January 17, 2022 A Brush Above took my cabinet door fronts on 1/17/2022 to bring back to their shop and paint. They put one coat of paint on the bottom boxes that same day and said they would come back to give a second coat and return the door fronts. After 4 months of texting, emailing, and calling, they finally brought them back unfinished. Both the boxes and door fronts were left undone. After begging for 4 months, I would never allow A Brush Above into my home again. I hired another company to finish and repaint all the cabinets the right way. 1. I want to be reimbursed the $800 it cost to complete the painting and installation of the laundry room cabinets. 2. I want to be reimbursed $1975 for caulking, putty, and sanding all the crown and baseboard moldings. These moldings were supposed to be repainted in the color that was specified and agreed upon after showing you the physical model home color and verifying it (A Brush Above used the wrong color paint). The paint color you used, according to the codes on your cans, is different and not the same as the model home color specified on GL Homes' color chart.
