I'm really impressed with the lawn care services at this company. Two years ago, my yard was completely ded. The technician who does my lawn communicates very well about the different services and I have a beautiful lawn now! I wish I had signed on years ago!

From top to bottom, A+ treated me extrordinarily well! The landscape team was prompt, professional, AND they treated my little ones like their own. I had a small issue with installation around the foundation that management dealt with super fast. If you want it done well, call them!

This company put in landscaping that died in a year cuz the plants they picked weren't right for the shady spot. They messed up our lawn too by treating it when there was a drought and we couldn't water it. And to top it off, they did a final treatment we didn't even ask for and still charged us for it, even though we talked about the lawn damage. And while we were still arguing about it, they sent it to collections. They were terrible at communicating too. We wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.

I've been really happy with all the stuff A+ has done for us in the past 12+ years. We've used them for new water systems and putting in the whole landscape at two houses (both new builds) in the *** area. We still use them for starting up and shutting down the water system, and taking care of the lawn every year. The prices are about the same as other companies. The best part is that the people who work there are always super nice, helpful, and fast - they never surprise me with extra charges. They fixed problems with the plants under warranty really quickly (replacements). I would totally recommend A+.

They automtically schedule lawn aeration without receiving request for this service. I recieved a text saying it would be done next day. I responded to text saying that I did not order this service, please remove me from their calender. I called at the same time and told who answered that I wanted this service removed from their calender since I never ordered or scheduled it. They said they would take me off the calender. Two days later they show up and start aerating my lawn. I have an irrigation system that was not marked because I didn't order this service. I was home and was able to stop before they got to far. They said this has happened several times already this season. I do not recommend this company.
Unfair biz practices
Unfair biz practices. Needed backflow unit replaced for irrigation system. Over phone they said $300-500 for unit, no install charges. Tech shows up, says $513 for unit + $100 to file with city. Looked it up, found same unit on Amazon for $270, asked tech, he said office will call. Diff suppliers charge diff prices, 20-30% diff is ok, but almost 200%? No word for 35 days, then got letter asking $1,213.62, threatened collections! 1st letter I got! They double charged my acct with 2 units. $1,026.04 + tax $71.82, + $101.32 for test. $1,026.04/2=$513 for 1 unit. Asked for call, still no word. BTW, unit (only have 1) is leaking... Stay away! Shady co.

Worst experience ever! I used another company for my irrigation needs before and that company sold its irrigation business to A+ Lawn & Landscape...but they never told us customers about it. Then suddenly, A+ Lawn & Landscape started asking me to let them start up my system. I ignored the message because they didn't give me any info to decide if I wanted their service or not. Next thing I know, they scheduled an appointment for me without asking, so I called to say I didn't want it and asked them to send me their costs for me to review. After a few months, out of nowhere again, they told me they scheduled a winterization appointment for me...and I had to call and complain again that I didn't want it and wasn't their customer. I won't use their services ever!

I called 'em up and they said they sent those messages for marketing. What a joke! Total scam and untrustworthy company! I really don't recommend 'em!

On 6/3/22, a guy from a service company came to my house and rang my doorbell. He claimed he was there for irrigation work and backflow testing. I informed him that I hadn't requested such services and asked him to leave. He seemed to comply. Later, at 1:54, I received an invoice (1469828_1260389) for $185.11 for irrigation system start-up and backflow services. I had previously employed A+ in spring 2021 but terminated their services due to billing for unperformed work. Despite canceling and requesting removal from their list, it appears they ignored my request.

My customer number with this business is ***. They aerated my lawn on 08/30/2022 or 08/31/2022. They came out unannounced and accidentally broke our Invisible Fence for our dog. I emailed them on 08/31/2022 to let them know and asked for reimbursement. They said they knew about our fence but their system didn't show it, so they didn't call us before coming. They told me to send the repair invoice once the fence was fixed, which I did on 09/09/2022. The repair cost was $144.45. I've sent many follow-up emails and made multiple phone calls to know when I'll get reimbursed. Every time, they said the forms were sent to the manager, but the manager is really busy and hasn't approved it yet.

I called and told them I wouldn't pay for something I didn't want. They said they automatically renew for my convenience. I called several more times and finally got a message from the lead guy, but I couldn't contact him when I called back. I called a couple more times and said I wanted someone who can make a decision and I didn't appreciate the repeated threats to send me to collections. I was told that wouldn't actually happen, but got a letter from a collection agency today. Despite my telling them I was done last year, they keep saying they print a warning that they automatically renew people anyway on their documents. No contract is formed in that way. It's an adhesion contract even had I not told them I was done.

They sent a message saying they would start up the system and complete the back flow report by May 31. In May, they aerated and overseeded our lawn. I called and asked why they would apply seed when our system wasn't working. The person I talked to said they would come on May 8 to start up the system and do the backflow report. The guy who came said the system was messed up and he couldn't finish his job. We didn't hear from anyone after that. I called on 5/11 to check on it. Then I sent an email on 5/12 and talked to Ethan, who said he would personally come to review the situation. But he never came and nobody called me to discuss it. I waited for them to show up yesterday, the original date to finish the work. But as of today, nobody has shown up or contacted me.

A+ Lawn and Landscape did their Sharp N Lube Service on 4/20. When I tried to mow my yard, the mower started smoking real bad. After 45 minutes, the mower just stopped and I couldn't start it again. The next day, I took the mower to a local company and they said the oil was dirty, the air filter was gross, and the blade was only kinda sharp. I agreed to let them fully service my mower and I called my credit card company to complain about the charge and I also told A+ about what happened. The lady at the front desk transferred me to the service manager and I left a voicemail (I've left 2 more voicemails but no one called me back). On 7/31, I got a notice from their debt collector. I want all the charges taken off and no impact on my credit.

On day two, the technician couldn't locate the stuck valve and asked if we wanted them to come back with the tools to find it. It seemed like they didn't really want to do their job and were hoping we would just say no. They left, saying they would return with the appropriate tool, but they never did. I called the company the next day, but they had no new notes on the issue. They scheduled me for another appointment the next day, so now we were waiting for appointment number three. However, they didn't show up this time. I called the company again, and they said I wasn't on the schedule. The receptionist told me that unless I spoke to a manager, there wasn't anything they could do. So, I asked to speak to a manager, but they transferred me to an answering machine. They didn't fix anything, but I still received an invoice for the work, which was $132. I responded to the invoice email twice, but I didn't get a reply. However, I did receive an email asking how they did. The company's lack of response and automatic billing for services they didn't provide is frustrating. I want confirmation that this issue has been resolved and removed from our account and address to avoid any negative impact on our credit ratings.

A+ Lawn & Landscape has been takin' care of our lawn since last fall. We live in a fancy new neighborhood and they told us we were gonna get some "grub treatment." My hubby called 'em two days before the service was supposed to happen and said we didn't want it no more. They wrote it down in our account. But guess what? On the day of the service, they showed up at our house for the "grub control." My hubby talked to the A+ Lawn & Landscape person and told 'em we cancelled. She said it was cancelled, but she was there to deal with the weeds my hubby mentioned. The next day, we see a charge on our bank account. Me and my hubby called 'em up to ask 'em about it. They said they saw that we called to cancel the "grub control" and they didn't actually do it. They said they'd ask for the charge to be refunded, but it would take a few business days. That ain't gonna work 'cause it was Thursday before a holiday weekend. They said two managers had to approve the refund. I told 'em that ain't gonna fly. The clerk said she'd talk to the manager and call me in the mornin' 'cause they were outta the office. But I never got no phone calls. My hubby called 'em and talked to a clerk who said the charges would be put back in our bank account by the end of the business days. So I called 'em again and said I'd come by this afternoon to pick up the money. The clerk said the manager still had to verify it and it might take some time. Then the clerk said the manager was in the office. I tried to get transferred six times but nobody answered. The manager knew I was tryin' to reach 'em 'cause the clerk told 'em. This needs to be fixed right away.
