Disappointing Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Delayed Delivery, Poor Quality, and Unfair Return Policy
I gotta say, my experience with A Pea in the Pod was not the best. I was so excited to get this dress for my brother's wedding, but it took FOREVER to arrive. I was freaking out, man! I had to send so many emails just to figure out where my dress was. When it finally arrived, I was pretty disappointed with the quality. It just wasn't what I was expecting, you know?
So, I decided to return it. But get this - I had to pay $15 at the post office just to send it back! And then, to make things even worse, A Pea in the Pod told me they were gonna take ANOTHER $15 off my refund for shipping costs. Like, what the heck?! I already paid for shipping myself!
Honestly, the whole thing was just a huge headache. I was so stressed out and unhappy with the whole experience. I gotta say, I would never recommend A Pea in the Pod to anyone. And I definitely won't be shopping with them again.
Poor Customer Service Experience with A Pea in the Pod - Avoid Shopping Here!
I recently made a purchase on A Pea in the Pod's website and unfortunately, the majority of the items I received didn't fit me properly. I wasn't too worried about it at first, but when I tried to return the items, I was disappointed to find out that I had to cover the shipping cost myself. Living in New York City, I thought it would be easy to return the items in-store, but I was wrong. The Macy's location wouldn't accept my return since the items weren't purchased there. I ended up having to spend $50 out of my own pocket just to ship back the items that didn't fit.
Needless to say, I was pretty upset about the whole situation and decided to reach out to A Pea in the Pod's customer service team via email. Unfortunately, I never received a response to my initial email. I tried again and still didn't hear back. In total, I've reached out five times and still haven't received a response to this day.
I have to say, I'm pretty surprised that a company with such terrible customer service can stay in business. If you're looking for a better shopping experience, I would recommend checking out ASOS instead. They have a great selection of cute clothes and offer free shipping and returns.
Great Products, Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with A Pea in the Pod
I recently purchased some basic white tees from A Pea in the Pod and I was so impressed with the quality that I decided to order two more along with two nursing tops for my upcoming trip to the US. However, my experience with their customer service was extremely disappointing.
It took a whopping 10 days for my order to even show up on the UPS system after I had confirmed it. I was so frustrated that I sent multiple emails and even made a phone call to request that they cancel my order as it would arrive too late. But for some reason, they couldn't give me a reference number. It was a total mess!
Finally, I received an email from them that was full of legal jargon, stating that they would only consider my package lost if it hadn't arrived within 10 business days after the date of shipment. That's a total of 24 days after I had confirmed my order! It was a complete nightmare.
I have a feeling that this company has been acquired and they've been cutting costs left and right, especially when it comes to deliveries and customer service. It's such a shame because their products are really good, but the overall experience was just strange and frustrating.
I hope they can improve their customer service in the future because I would love to order from them again, but only if they can guarantee a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Disappointing Customer Service and Wasteful Packaging from A Pea in the Pod
I recently purchased a pair of overalls from A Pea in the Pod's website and was disappointed to find a plastic bag full of advertising and a plastic baby bottle included with my order. I have never received such unnecessary waste from any other company before. It's a shame that Pea in the Pod would prioritize a few advertising dollars over the environment. I bet most of these packets of junk end up in the trash, which is a huge waste.
I tried to contact Pea in the Pod through Facebook messenger and email to request a free return label to send back the advertising junk. Although they responded once on Facebook, I had to follow up 4-5 times to get them to reply again. They promised to get back to me within 48-72 hours, but the person on email kept asking how they could help me and then stopped responding altogether. The person on the phone didn't seem to care much, but at least they sent me the return label eventually.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from Pea in the Pod. It's a shame that such a wasteful company would also have such terrible customer service. I won't be buying from them again.
Disappointed with A Pea in the Pod's Customer Service and Mistake Handling
I've been shopping at A Pea in the Pod for quite some time now and I have to say, while the prices are a bit steep, it's worth it to feel good about yourself when your belly is taking up all the space in the room, am I right? However, my recent experience with this company has left me feeling quite disappointed and frustrated.
I ordered a dress that was shown on the website in a specific color, but when it arrived, it was a completely different color. I immediately contacted customer service to request a return label free of charge, as it was their mistake. Instead of simply sending me a label, I was instructed to send an email with multiple pictures of my order, the dress I received, and more. It seemed like a waste of time, but I complied anyway.
To my surprise, I received an email stating that while the dress depicted on the site wasn't the dress I received, they couldn't be held responsible for providing accurate photos of everything on their site. I was shocked and disappointed. So, they wouldn't be sending me a return label for their mistake, but they still expected me to continue spending hundreds of dollars with them? What kind of business model is that?
Overall, I have to say that my experience with A Pea in the Pod has left me feeling quite let down. The customer service was truly horrible and the fact that they wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake was truly shocking. I'm not sure if I'll be shopping with them again in the future.
Disappointing Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Pushy Sales Associate and Poor Customer Service
Hey there, I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with A Pea in the Pod. I reached out to them a couple weeks ago, both by email and on Facebook messenger, but I didn't get a response from either. Seems like that's a common thing based on other reviews I've seen.
So, here's what happened. I got my wife some clothes from their website for Christmas, but a couple of the pants were too short for her liking. We drove 45 minutes to their store at Somerset Mall in Troy, MI to exchange them. But when we got there, the associate was super pushy and aggressive.
She kept insisting that my wife buy a pair of pants that cost way more than what she wanted to spend. It felt like the only solution the saleswoman would allow was for my wife to make a bigger purchase. And let me tell you, pushy salespeople are always annoying, but when you're shopping for maternity clothes, it's even worse.
I was really disappointed with this experience. It was my first time shopping with A Pea in the Pod, and while it started out okay, my final impression is pretty poor. I hope they take some time to train their staff on how to help and assist customers, instead of pressuring them into making purchases they don't want to make.
Sincerely,
Matt Swegles
A Pea in the Pod Review: Cancelled Items and Shipping Charges - Not Worth It
Yo, I gotta say, I had a pretty whack experience with A Pea in the Pod. I was hyped to cop 5 items, but they straight up cancelled two of the ones I really wanted and shipped me the rest without even giving me a chance to cancel my order. And they still charged me for shipping, even though I only ended up with 3 items that I didn't even really want. Like, what's the point of paying for shipping if you're not even gonna get everything you ordered, you know what I'm saying?
I hit up customer service and told them they messed up big time. I was like, "Yo, I wouldn't have even ordered this stuff if I knew you were gonna cancel the good stuff." But all they offered me was free shipping on my next order and a promise to replace the cancelled items if they ever come back in stock. But they couldn't even tell me when that would be, so what's the point?
Honestly, it's not cool to charge people for shipping when you're not even gonna give them everything they ordered. I don't recommend shopping at A Pea in the Pod if you don't wanna get ripped off.
Stylish and Comfortable Maternity Clothing for the Corporate Mom-to-Be: A Pea in the Pod Review
As a first time mom-to-be and a busy business owner, finding appropriate maternity clothing can be a real challenge. I need stylish and comfortable clothing that is suitable for a corporate environment. That's why I've learned three important things during my pregnancy journey. Firstly, a dress and a cardigan is the third trimester equivalent to a skirt suit. Secondly, I can and will wear heels as long as I can through this pregnancy. And finally, A Pea in the Pod is a great place to shop, either online or at the boutique!
I've purchased from many online maternity retailers, but www.apeainthepod.com is one of the few that I keep going back to. Although I haven't found a maternity skirt suit, I've found some amazing maternity dresses that are perfect for work and dinner afterwards. They have great styles, true to size, mostly quality materials, and good workmanship in most garments. However, I did receive a cardigan with a small hole. I put in a stitch and kept it because it was WAY too cute and practical to return.
One thing that I'm not too fond of is that the models on the site are not reflective of real pregnant women. I would love to see women who actually look pregnant, not just skinny women with "bumps". It's unrealistic to think that your body will not change during pregnancy, and in fact, it's unhealthy to promote such a view. I feel like whoever chooses the models is a guy or has never been pregnant. I would spend even more money shopping here if I felt like what I wanted would look good on my pregnant body, not just on a stick figure with a belly pad.
But really, this store is worth the difference in price that you may see with less expensive maternity clothing. I've shopped at motherhood.com, and the quality of the material there is just revolting (yes, I've reviewed it). A Pea in the Pod is definitely worth the investment, and I wonder if they have a non-maternity sister site/boutique!
Unfriendly Customer Service and Strict Return Policy - A Review of [Company Name]
This company ain't really that friendly to customers, like at all. I bought some stuff online and then saw that the prices went down a few days later. I tried to find a phone number to call them, but all I could find was a form to fill out on their website. So, I filled it out and waited for a response. But, I didn't hear anything back for like a week. Then, I found a phone number in an email they sent me about my order, so I called them up. But, they said they didn't see my message on their website and that I should have called or emailed them from my own email account. They only do price adjustments within 7 days of buying something. Like, what kind of company is that?
And, to make things worse, I bought this one thing that was too big for me at the time, but I thought I could wear it later in my pregnancy. But, after two months, I realized it still wasn't gonna fit me. So, I called them up again to see if I could return it for store credit or something. But, they said they only do returns within 30 days, even for store credit. And, they used to be more lenient because of Covid, but not anymore. Like, come on, how am I supposed to know if something's gonna fit me in 30 days?
I'm never shopping with them again. They deserve to be bankrupt.
Buyer Beware: A Pea in a Pod Charges More for Defective Merchandise and Poor Customer Service
A Pea in a Pod is a company that sells maternity clothing, and I gotta tell ya, it's the same as Motherhood Maternity. They both sell similar stuff, but A Pea in a Pod charges more, like $15-$20 more. I bought the same pair of compression leggings from both companies, and Motherhood Maternity had them for around $20, while A Pea in a Pod had them for around $40. The only difference was the color of the packaging. Motherhood Maternity's size chart was a little messed up, so I didn't mind paying more to get the right size from A Pea in a Pod. However, the leggings I got from A Pea in a Pod had open stitches at the crunch area. I bought two pairs, and both had the same issue. This means that the whole batch might be defective. I'm a size 00, usually wear XS or XXS, weigh 113lbs at 28 weeks, and measure 34-35 at hip size. Their legging's XS is measured 36-37 around the hip, so it's definitely not me breaking the product.
I had to contact customer services, and they promised to issue a gift card to cover the defective merchandise. They asked me to place another order, and the difference and shipping paid on the replacement order would be waived. Sounds nice, right? In reality, they only issued credit for one pair of leggings, even though I bought two. After communicating with them, the other pair's refund credit goes to Motherhood Maternity... Hello? I had to make additional communications to combine them and point them to one website.
After making the replacement purchase, they had a problem refunding the difference too. The agreement was to refund the difference to the original payment method, but their customer service refunded a random number. Yes, I can't tell how it's calculated, but it was surely less than the agreed amount, and it was refunded as gift credit, not the original payment method. I sent tons of emails with screenshots highlighting errors to address the incorrect refund, but every customer care representative who picked it up didn't bother to read the full detail. They ignored the credit back request and tried to get it over with by giving me a gift refund.
I had to make a call and request a manager to get things straight. I will never buy from either website again.

Disappointing Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Wrong Order, No Refund, and Rude Customer Service
I recently had a not-so-great experience with A Pea in the Pod. I placed an order and unfortunately, I received the wrong items. To make matters worse, my account was charged for the order that I never received. I tried to reach out to their customer service team multiple times, leaving voicemails and sending emails, but I didn't receive a response for a while.
When I finally spoke to a representative, they were very rude and unhelpful. They refused to refund my shipping, even though I didn't receive my order. I was really disappointed with the way they handled the situation. It's not fair that I have to pay for shipping on an order that I never even got.
Overall, I was really frustrated with my experience with A Pea in the Pod. I don't think I'll be ordering from them again in the future. It's a shame because I've heard good things about their products, but the poor customer service really turned me off.
Disappointing Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Coupon Issue and Poor Customer Service
So, I was browsing the web and stumbled upon A Pea in the Pod. I found some cute clothes and decided to place an order after getting a coupon. But, when I tried to use the coupon, it didn't work. I was pretty bummed out about it. Then, I found out that one of the items I had selected wasn't eligible for the coupon. That's why it didn't work. I was so frustrated because I really wanted to save some money.
I contacted customer service and explained my situation. I asked if there was any way they could make an exception or provide me with an alternative. Unfortunately, they couldn't do anything for me. They didn't offer any solutions or try to make it right. I was disappointed because I had spent a decent amount of money and felt like they didn't care about my business.
In the end, I decided to return the items in my order that were not final sale. It was a hassle, but I didn't want to keep something that I didn't get a discount on. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at A Pea in the Pod. I don't think I'll be shopping there again anytime soon.
Disappointing Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Missing Items, Slow Response, and Delayed Delivery
I bought some clothes and a gift card from A Pea in the Pod website. But when I got my package, only two out of three clothes were there. I was bummed out and sent them an email about it. But they didn't reply to me at first. So, I sent another email. Finally, they replied and said they would send the gift card via express mail, which should take only two days. But guess what? It took 12 days for the gift card to arrive! I was pretty upset because they didn't even say sorry or anything. And to top it off, I still haven't received the last piece of clothing I ordered.

Mixed feelings about A Pea in the Pod: Great clothes, but poor policies and service
I gotta say, I do like the clothes at A Pea in the Pod. But, I gotta be real with ya, I've had some issues with this place. Like, I've had orders cancelled on me without any heads up. And, let me tell ya, it takes forever for stuff to ship. Plus, everything is a bit too pricey for my taste. But, my biggest beef with these guys is their shipping and return policies. I mean, come on, they still charge for return shipping labels? In this day and age? That's just not cool. They're making bank, they could easily offer free shipping and returns. But, nope, they gotta nickel and dime ya. Honestly, I don't think I'll be shopping here again.
A Pea in the Pod: A Total Sham - Don't Waste Your Time or Money!
Don't even bother shopping at A Pea in the Pod! I got a gift card and tried to use it, but the thing I ordered never came. They didn't even tell me it wasn't coming. I had to track it for weeks and then I realized it wasn't coming. I had to go to them and ask what happened, and they gave me my money back. Then I ordered something else and the same thing happened again! I was so frustrated. Finally, I ordered a third item and when I went to use my gift card, I noticed that there was over $47 missing! They never put it back on my gift card. What a rip-off! This company is a total sham. I'm really disappointed because their prices are so high. It's just not worth it.
A Pea in the Pod Review: Disappointing Shipping and Return Policies
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with A Pea in the Pod. I mean, come on, no free shipping unless you spend over $150? That's just ridiculous. And to top it off, they make you pay to send your returns back. Like, seriously? I don't have a Pea in the Pod store near me, so I can't just drop it off there. And even if I did, they're all closed anyway. So what's the deal? If you're gonna close your stores, at least offer free shipping or something.
I ended up spending $130 on my order, which was just shy of the free shipping threshold. So I had to pay $13 for shipping. And then when I had to return some items, I had to pay another $10 to ship it back. That's over $23 just on shipping alone!
Honestly, I'm not gonna be shopping at A Pea in the Pod anymore. There are so many other maternity companies out there that offer free shipping and returns. Why bother with this one? It's just not worth it. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with A Pea in the Pod: Incorrect Order and Unhelpful Representatives
I recently made a purchase from A Pea in the Pod, and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I ordered three pairs of black leggings online, but when my package arrived, I was surprised to find that I had received two pairs of black leggings and one pair of grey leggings. I was certain that I had ordered all black leggings, as my packing slip clearly indicated. However, when I contacted customer service to address the issue, they informed me that their records showed that I had ordered the grey leggings instead. This was frustrating, as I knew that I had not made a mistake in my order.
I spoke to three different representatives, but unfortunately, none of them were able to help me. They all insisted that I was responsible for shipping the grey leggings back to them, even though it was their mistake. I felt like they were not listening to me or taking my concerns seriously. It was disappointing to be treated this way, especially since I had been a loyal customer in the past.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with A Pea in the Pod. I felt like they did not value my business or my satisfaction as a customer. I will not be ordering from them again in the future, and I would caution others to be wary of their customer service policies. It is important for companies to take responsibility for their mistakes and make things right for their customers, and unfortunately, A Pea in the Pod did not do that in my case.
Warning: A Pea in the Pod's Online Ordering is a Scam!
Yo, I gotta warn y'all about A Pea in the Pod. I ordered two things online and paid extra for fast shipping, but they straight up played me. They sent me an email saying they were working on my order, but then I never got no email saying it was shipped. So I called them up and they told me they cancelled my order cuz they didn't have the stuff in stock. But get this, they never even told me! And now, four days later, my bank still ain't cleared the charge. Like, what the heck, man? The website said they had the stuff when I ordered it, so why they gotta go and cancel it without telling me? And then they still charged my card like everything was cool. I'm telling you, be careful with these guys.
A Pea in the Pod's Customer Service Nightmare: My Experience with Returns and Exchanges
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with A Pea in the Pod. I had ordered some clothes for my daughter for Christmas, but unfortunately they didn't fit her quite right. So I called up their customer service line to see if I could exchange them for a larger size. And let me tell you, it was a nightmare.
I must have called them four times, and every time they just laughed at me and told me that it was too late to return them. I tried explaining that they were Christmas presents and that my daughter didn't get them until the end of December, but they just didn't want to hear it. I even asked to speak with a supervisor, but she never called me back the first time. And when she finally did call me back, she called me at the wrong phone number! Can you believe it?
I spent almost $800 on these clothes, and they couldn't even offer me any real solutions. All they could do was give me 20% off a new order. What a joke! I'm never ordering from them again. It's just not worth the hassle.
Unhelpful Customer Service and No Return Policy at A Pea in the Pod - Save Your Money!
I gotta say, I ain't never dealt with more unhelpful customer service in my life. My girl bought me $400 worth of gifts from A Pea in the Pod, but when I tried to return 'em, there was no way to do it without her finding out. And they wouldn't even give me store credit or let me exchange 'em! I called up customer service and the lady on the other end was just plain rude. She wouldn't even let me talk to her boss. What kind of business doesn't let you return gifts for store credit? It's just plain ridiculous. After this experience, I don't even want the store credit. I wouldn't be surprised if this business goes under soon. Save your money and shop somewhere else.
