I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. Through a link on one of the book store emails (B&N or Borders?) there was an offer for a free sample of Acaipure with a shipping charge of only $4.95. This was promoted by Oprah Winfrey and I thought it was viable.
When I clicked on the link for availability of the free sample, the response was that it was available. I stupidly gave them my credit card and they are billing me every month for $44.95 for products I NEVER ORDERED! I've called my credit card company and will be calling the Attorney Genereal to stop these billings for this scam. Please help.

I ordered only the free product and they shipped and charged my account for products not ordered, wait time on telephone 85 minutes this should be reported to attorney general in every state using people who are desperate for help is an abomination!

Ordered free sample, they debited my account for 44.85. Immediately e-mailed to cancel. They debited my account for $39.95 on the 27th of October and again for 44.90 on 11/12. I received and returned refused the first order (my free 44.85 sample). I had to cancel my debit card and the bank is refunding my money, since I also got a hour wait message on their recording.

THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING PEOPLE, THEY SAY THEY SHIPPED ME AN ORDER WHICH I DID NOT ORDER AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED. EACH TIME I CALL THEM I HAVE TO WAIT OVER 1 HOUR TO SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON AND EACH ONE HAS BEEN VERY RUDE AND SAY THE ITEMS WERE SHIPPED SO I NEED TO CONTACT THE POST OFFICE. THEY TRY AND CONNECT THEMSELVES WITH OPRAH WINFREY BY USING HER NAME IN IN THEIR AD, BUT I BELIEVE OPRAH WOULD BE VERY UPSET TO KNOW THIS. THEY SAY IT IS LEGAL FOR THEM TO AUTOMATICALLY PLACE AN ORDER ON YOUR CREDIT CARD WHEN YOU REQUEST TO TRY THEIR FREE TRIAL OFFER AND IF YOU DONT SEE IT TO BAD IT IS CHARGED RIGHT AWAY, YOU NEED TO ACCEPT THIS. WHAT CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS COMPANY?

I am having the problems everyone is having. Can't get anyone to answer phone or any response for the e-mail they say to get on. They just keep charging my credit card. I have had to cancel my only credit card and get a new number. I wish there was some to to get this company that Oprah suggested. What a sad deal to have people go through and then not trust anyone else again. Does anyone have an answer to this?

I ordered & received the FREE trile sample of Acai Berry all natural cleanser. After calling SIX different phone numbers, all given to me by "customer support specialists" who had NO RECORD of me ordering product. CAN'T stop future shipment, because I'm not on file. How can they NOT STOP future shipments if, as they say, they have no reference to me? I hvae ben had & want to know how I can precent them from charging my credit care when the trial period is over? I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

I ordered a trial bottle for shipping only and got charged 44.90. I now have another bottle and never ordered it. I can't reach them by phone to send it back and cancel this product. When the product is returned their is a restocking charge of 15% and not shipping refund. I never requested another bottle. In fact I never opened the first bottle. To ship back need a return Merchandise authorizaton number and you have to call and get this.

I ordered trial of acaipure for shipping of $2.95, hoodia gum for $9.95, and hoodia water for $29.95 and since I received this first order on Sept 4, I have been charged $44.85 for the months of Oct and Nov. Not only do I not have the items but I did not reorder any of the items. I want a refund for the two additional months that I was charged. I could not get a hold of anyone by phone after waiting hours. If you have any further questions, please call me at [protected]. Thanks Jamoya Jemison

I ordered the trial only and was sent two other products and charged for them
I want to return them but when I call for authorization there is always a wait on the phone of 30 plus minutes, then I try to email them at the address on the invoice and there is no such site to get an authorization for the return of the unwanted products. On top of this they want to charge a 15% restocking charge for things I did not order.

I ordered the free sample also and so did my bf. I got the produce one month later, but I called the BBB on them and told them what they were up to. I cancelled my cc and got a new number and new card which caused me much grief. They are scammers and OPRAH isnt living in the real world. I was so ticked off. They would have continued charging my account and my bf's had I not tried to call the company right after I ordered the product and found no working phone numbers. Therefore I knew I had just been scammed. The BBB called me and wanted to know if I had anymore info on the company as they couldnt track them down either...so we know it was a scam. They will continue to sign u up for other products also that you didnt know you were being signed up for so WATCH OUT! Leave this company alone. Thank God I was smart enough to check into them right away. I didnt wait. After I hit the send button I felt it. They will get shut down if people keep complaining to the BBB.

Looks like we all fell for the scam.
You can wait for 58 minutes on hold to talk to one of the scam idiots, and that just will get the blood pressure up.
I finally got a lady calling herself Jessi on the phone, got a order number of the cancellation and they still keep charging me $44.90 every month.
I sent back all the products when I realized the scam and got a Delivery Confirmation Receipt with the US Postal Service.
I have my credit card company working it and everyone should do the same.
I think 20/20 should do the story.

My bank was charged $44.85 even though I only authorized $4.95 for shipping until I had received the merchandies and had tried it for 14 days. I never received anything. I have instructed my bank's dispute department to credit my account and to get the $44.85 through their bank. They say that they can do this.
I can't imagine anyone doing business with them with the dozens of complaints that are on this website. I have also emailed the Arizona Better Business Bureau. Everyone should be doing everything they can to get this company OUT OF BUSINESS.

I just called my credit card company and reported this to the fraud division and they are closing that credit card and giving me a new number.
They said this is the only way to stop them from charging again and again.
It is a Royal Pain but the safe way to go.
No more free trial offers for me.

I ORDERED A FREE TRIAL SIZE OF THIS PRODUCT AND WAS CHARGED FULL PRICE. THE CHARGE SHOULD HAVE ONLY BEEN $ 4.95 NOT $ 44.85 I AM SO UPSET THAT SOME COMPANIES WOULD TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU LIKE THIS. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE FROM US CUSTOMERS, THAT THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN? PLEASE ADVISE SINCERELY, William Skotnica [protected]

I agree, they got me too, same as you guys. Even though Oprah's name was attached I still feel she would not condone this RIP off company! She gave good reviews about the product i don't recall her telling people to use that website. With technology now a days you can attach anyone face and name to whatever. They also attached CNN, Fox 4 new and a few others. I'm pretty sure Oprah doesn't know this is going on. You live and learn I will never do this again!

I ordered a free trial offer of AcaiPure on November 15, 2008 that was to arrive in 3-4 business days or 1 week. I have yet to receive it. I was billed $4.95 for shipping and handling. If I liked the product, I was to be billed for $39.95 plus $4.95 shipping and handling for each additional month I wanted to receive this product. Since I have not received the product, what am I to do about the additional charges?

This diet plan was suppose to be a risk free trial offer. They did not give you enough time to decide whether or not you wanted to use this weight program before they were charging your credit card. So after I received my credit card statement and I saw where they had made the charged for $ 39.95. I called the business and cancelled that order and I also told the lady that I was in the process of sending the products back to the company. She gave me a processing # .
I returned the products and was billed again the following month. I called numerous times and I was on hold for 30 minutes and still didnot talk to anyone. I changed my credit card number.

I am a victim of the same fraud. I ordered this product AcaiPure, endorsed by Oprah and was charged for Hoodieburst gum and hoodie water drops. I've tried calling and reporting this company. I called the company and was told by a recording that I had a 72 hour waiting time for my call to be answered. 72 hours! I couldn't believe it. They charged my credit card $44.85. It was suppose to be a charge of $4.95 for shipping and handling. I'm calling Pam Zeckman to see if I can have this company exposed on a national level. I hope no one else is a victim of this company and if you are pursue it to the end. This is the type of business that companies like this make a fortune from and they benefit from each of us feeling like there's nothing we can do. Do something! Write your congressman, your local news media outlet, email blogs and email lists! Just joing me in doing something!
