I received my Visa statement today and there is a charge for $44.85. I did NOT order this and I will not pay it. I was to be charged only for the shipping cost of $4.95 for a FREE sample of Acaipure. Today is 12/4/08 at 3:55 pm.
I have tried to call and am on HOLD for over an hour. This charge will not be accepted. What kind of scam are you into? I want a credit to my Visa and a confirmation of that credit by mail and I will not wait--I want that credit to my account now and the confirmation now. I simply will not put up with this. Dez Roberts
I agree with the charges that this company is deceiving everyone. The monthly enrollment was not part of the deal and charging my credit card monthly for 44.95 was also not part of the deal. This should be a class action suit.
I also fell victim to this scam. I got the first bottle then was charged 44.90. I thought okay, I did something wrong when I clicked submit. Then the next month another charge shows up on my bank account for the same amount. Seems I enrolled in a Lifestyle Program. Huh? I don't recall joining anything! I was only trying to get the free trial offer. Now I'm out 85 bucks!
I sent for a "free" product, which I received after paying the 4.95 S&H charge. The next think I know there are NUMEROUS charges to my credit card about purchases I made.
I immediately returned the products to the manufacturers, and am still awaiting credit for these products to my account.
ACAIPURE charged my credit card $39.95 unuathorized. I only signed up for a free trial for$4.95 shipping & handling. Received my bank statement, and they charged $39.95. I want my money credited back to my account immediately, if not sooner! This is outrageous and illegal.
I ordered the free sample of Acaipure on line that was free but had to pay for shipping that was $4.95. I decided not to try the product and tryed to return it. They would have me on hold for 45 min and i would give up. so i contacted them through email to cancle my so called "membership"and was told it was cancled. But they have sent me 3 more bottles and have taken $44.95 out of my account each time. causing my account to become overdrawn all 3 times, costing me 35.00 each time. Every time i try to contact them via email to get a return # so i can return the product i get no response. and also in the fine print they charge a 15% restocking fee. For something i did not order. So i am out $134.00 (product)+ $105.00 (overdrwan bank fees) Total=$239.00.
If anyone knows how i can get my money back please let me know. toganative@yahoo.com
I received a charge of 29.95 for what I don't know. I want the money to be refunded. I do not want this product as I cancelled this account on line a month ago the day the bottle of pills finally arrived. reverse the charge today, now. elizabeth grace

Yes, this is a SCAM! DO NOT ORDER! I am going to have to get my attorney involved at this point. I have been using the Internet for 12+ years and have never had this experience. They charge your card without your permission. They do not show you what the charges will be so that you may approve before your order is complete. You select to pay $4.95 for trial and instead they charge your card $44.95. I immediately contacted them with no response. The products arrived and I contacted them again. This time they did respond with a RMA # for me to return the products. I promptly shipped them back and NOW they have charged my debit card with another $39.95. THEY ARE CROOKS! I can't believe they use Oprah's face as an endorsement! Anyway, looks like my attorney contacting them is the next step.
i ordered a free trial online (big mistake) and was never told about the 44.90 that i was being charged or for that matter that i would be receiving a bottle every month... I cancelled the subscription when the second bottle came. I sent it back and have never been refunded. I have called 3 times (which it sounds like everyone knows how long this takes) and i have emailed 4 times. I get the same automatic response every time that without a tracking number, they cannot help me. Every time i call they tell me to try back in a week. I am so mad about this! It's not even so much about the 44.90 as it is just the point of it all! I was scammed. I will never let myself fall for one of these ever again!
My piece of advise for all - always get a tracking number when dealing with these jerks!
I didn't give fitfac the right to charge my bank this 29.95
I contacted .the company of largo fl and was told they dont have any more business with fit fac and gave me a number to the business which is [protected] which i tried several times to contact and couldn't get to talk to any body
Wow! It looks like I'm not the only one who was scammed by AcaiPure (and PomClear), which coincidentally(?) have the same phone number. The number [protected] has now been disconnected. I'm being charged $44.90 for both (a total of $85.80) a month! Since I am unable to cancel my memberships to AcaiPure and PomClear by phone, I am going to try returning the products to see if I get refunded. Thank you to whoever it was who left the address for the Federal Trade Commission. I too will contact them and the Better Business Bureau.
I ordered what was to be a free sample of acaipure and was to only pay shipping. Wound up being sent two other items and charged 49.95. I returned the products and requested refund.
In addition I was given a "free trial" of an internet servie called Fit Factory and charged 29.95. I was able to get the 29.95 refunded by that company which is seperate, but have not resolved the other issue with the acaipure people.
I ordered trial: was sent more than ordered ($44.85 ) & returned excess. Was still charged full amount. Called, promised would be fixed & money refunded. Instead.. second bill for extra $39.95 came in. Called again & was told money HAD been returned and I had agreed to pay $38 for product. Then was told I am now "Black-listed!"
I was treated nicely on the first call with apoligizes. Second call I was treated like a dim-wit and not allowed to talk!
Something MUST be done about these companies.
This company, AcaiPure, has made a unauthorized withdrawal from my checking account and will not speak to me over the phone about it. Is there any help for this?
I have been trying since 11/26/08 to receive my refund of $59.95. Every time I call, they give me more reasons why I haven't received it.Now, they are telling me, when you return the products you need to have the tracking number. They said I haven't sent the product back and they don't show record of the transaction. Then the girl hung up on me!Can you believe that! Not only did they charge me without my approval, but they are rude in answering my questions. When I called back, they offered me a $20 courtisy card on my acct.I told them "Why would I want $20 when I have been charged 3x that?".To my surprise they said that is all they could do for me and they didn't have to even do that, and hung up again! There has to be something we all can do to get our refunds back. This is the first time I have ever had to deal with a company so unprofessioal and a complete rip off! If there is something out there to help us, I'd sure be interest in taking action on this company!DO NOT MESS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL!RIP OFF!
Unauthorised enrollment of " www.fit-fac.com ", was never mentioned or discussed either on the phone or in writing.
Unauthorized credit charges to my account for products not ordered nor received.
Fraudulent behavior,
My bank has been instructed to stop all transaction with this company.
to have my name removed and cancel any further dealings.

The same thing happened to me I've been on the phone w/ three different customer service reps and no one can help and the last one said they didn't even carry that product!
WOW! I wish I would have run across this page before I too was scammed! Also received the $10 pack of gum and $30 Hoodia water which I was not aware that I ordered. Figured I would swallow it and just cancel my future orders. Did so on the website, however it was never cancelled. I too was charged the $39.95 for the colopure and the 38.95 for the acaipure which were suppossed to work together and do wonders for weight loss and health. I then was charged the $44.90 TWICE, once for each product. The Customer service Rep-Tiffany was not helpful and told me 'unfortunately' I will have to pay the shipping fee to return the order they have just sent...Since I cancelled my order! What a scam and a load of crap product! I had to put this up just as one more example of what kind of crap this company pulls! I am ashamed of them.
i ordered a free sample and got charged 39.95$ for it! called my card co. had it removed. they just sent me another one and this time charged me 44.95 $ i called them and they referred me to a web site which doesn't exist. they are a scam and a rip off and i had to call my card co. again. they are going to investigate this co. i'm sending the product back. i hope no one else gets taken in by this co. wiley fox03
NEVER ORDERED, NUMEROUS CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD
I can't believe that I fell into their stupid fraud of receiving a free trial. They charged me $72.00! Now they are charging my card every month I haven’t even opened any of the bottles yet in hopes that they might take them back and give me a refund! Reading other blogs I see that calling them or emailing them would be useless, but what else can one do? I was not hoping to loose weight in my wallet! I didn’t think that their plan to help people loose wait was by making them so broke that they have to starve themselves since they can no longer afford the basic essential needs that one need to survive- like FOOD! This is ridiculous!
I ordered a trail offer of ACAIPURE free with just the 4.95 shipping to be paid by me iwas charged 45.00 for that order and they keep seending me more that I have not ordered and charged me another $45.00 I want this scam stopped and nothing more sent
THANK YOU
Beth Day
I used the website to email a request to cancel my "membership" and also requested information on how to return unopened bottles.
They did not respond and it has been 2 days - the time the website said would be their response time
I too ordered the Acaipure FREE for the $4.95 shipping charge. I received the gum and Hoodia water as well. I didn't stay on the line longer than a few minutes after calling the number to get the return product number after reading other comments about the lengthy wait. I realized then it was a scam and contacted my credit card company. Today I noticed another $39.95 charged to my account from them (I received NO product) PLUS $29.95 for www.fit-fac.com. When I called them to ask about the charge, they said I had signed up for an online fitness consultation program through non other than Acaipure! It seems that we did not notice the OPTIONS of the gum and Hoodia water when we ordered the FREE product and I guess I signed up for the fitness program as well. The customer rep was not going to refund my $29.95 charge because she said it was 30 past the trial period. She did offer to cancel my membership then agreed to refund my money after I charged her with working for a SCAM company. Now I will work on canceling my membership with Acaipure and getting my money refunded.
How can this be legal? It is not a coincidence that all of us did not know we ordered these other products. Now I'm looking for the website to see how this happened.
I continue to receive the product and wish to discontinue it. I send it back however continue to get charged each month. I want to stop receiving it. I only tried the trial and cannot stop receiving it. Please discontinue!
canceled my oder in time and still charged 39.95 it is a ripoff contact arizona att. general and file a complaint
I purhased a trail offer of Acaipure only to pay shipping. They automaticly billed me for the trial offer and billed me again for another shipment that I have not received. This is a rip off company a should be reported to the Better Business Bureau. My name is Tim Repman at tim@repman.org. The parent website is www.centralcoastnutra.net
Same thing happened to me. A free sample turned into $187.00 in charges. I returned the merchandise, but didn't receive credit until I turned them into the credit card company. Then they give me only a protion back less shipping and a 15% restocking fee. They also gave my card and name etc to thee other companies who charged me different fees to go on the internet for some program they had. I GOT DUPED!
The other companies finally gave me credit completly, but it took a while. I am reporting them to the state Public Service Commission for their reviews. I am also reporting them to the better business bureau.

I made sure to use a card that I rarely use with only about $20 on it! I figured the fine print had to be kept right on time with the free trial offer. I knew that they would automatically charge the $44 exactly on the 14th day if I didn't cancel my order. I went on line and cancelled maybe the 16th day, but if they attempted to charge me, they were out of luck! Any free offer has the hidden clause of a full payment after 14 days... it's the trend these days. Now I'm afraid to use the product from all the negative feedback I'm reading about. Does it really work or will it make me sick? Does anyone out there know if it really works?
I supposedly ordered free trial samples of Acai Pure and Colon xR Cleanse, however, when I received the bottles I was charged immediately before the 15 day trial size expired. Also received a 2nd bottle of colon xR cleanse with an order date of 1/26/09, which is false. I haven't reordered anything since the original submission for the so-called trial size. The Acai Pure costs $88.62 and the Colon xR Cleanse costs $94.57, I have received 3 bottles of Acai Berry and 2 bottles of Colon Cleanse. Please help me get my money back and deter them from scamming anyone else out of their money. Unable to reach via telephone. Thank you

My wife ordered a ¨free sample¨of Acaipure in November of ´08 and it came towards the end of December. Since we were leaving the country on December 30th, she returned the sample with a note telling them that there wasn´t time to try it and to cancel any future shipments. We left the country on December 30th 2008, and in fact, will not return until April of 2009. Checking my charge card statement, I saw that not only the full amount was charged for the free sample, but another charge of $44+ was charged for January shipment, along with another $29+ for some so called diet counselor from ¨Fit_Fac.com. Calling the 888 number this morning from Mexico, Acaipure told my wife that ¨they didn´t receive the sample back¨, and besides that she couldn´t send it back without having the proper return form, which you can only get from them. They did say they would cancel as of today, but they have already gotten over $100 of our money.
I saw the on line ad to try Acaipure for 30 days free with a
shipping fee of 4.95. They charged me $44.85 when I found a number to call the answer machine said it was for the gum that is used with the Acaipure, two weeks later I was charged $39.95. I called the company and had to wait 44 minutes for a rep who told me if you don't return the unused portion in 14 days you are charged for it, and that another 30 day supply had been shipped, I said I wanted to return it so I waited for the second package to come so I could mail them all back and I sent a email asking for the return merchandise number, they never responded, a week later I called for a return merchandise authorization number, I waIted 22 minuted for a body to answer, I have received 33.95 refund they still owe me $84.80 and they do not answer e mails, this was suppost to be free. I have sent 3 emails and none of them have been asnwered
I got the free trial online and paid for the shippping. The following month, I received another shipment, that I DID NOT order, in my mail box. I refused the order and now the AcaiPure company is charging my credit card $39.95! AND they refuse to give me credit because I didn't get a return shipment number from them. The stuff doesn't even work!
As a result of my challenging these unauthorized charges, I have had my American Express credit card cancelled after being a member in good standing for almost 20 years. How do I go about restoring my credit rating is the question I would like answered.
I sent back all the pills that were sent and have a
verification from the PO tha t it was delivered, but
I never have received the credit on my account.365bb
I was billed for 2 items also, but I called my credit card, they issued a dispute and the automatic response was to give credit. I received credit for both on my card.
The same thing happened to me. The shipping was supposed to be free and then all of these charges appeared on my bank statement. I tried calling the company several times and the hold time was very long and then the phone disconnected every time. I have sent several emails with no response. So, then finally I got my bank involved by having my debit card canceled and I filed claims against those charges and I got my money back.
