Acima
I purchased set of tires in October 2021. The company went out of business in February of 2022. The tires were made to look new. They're used and worn out. I contacted ACIMA, about this, and that I was being charged for 2 sets of tires, not one set. They told me they would take off monies owed on first set of tires, from the second account for second set of tires. They found out, I was right, the company and gone out of business. I'm Disabled Widow, with Traumatic Brain Injury. I had COVID-19 back in January and am Suffering long term "Fog" from COVID-19. I sent pictures to prove the tires are no good, not new. They told me via phone, they would get another shop, to replace tires and put monies, paid from Second account, onto first account. This would have paid it in full. Now they're Refusing to honor this and to close second fraud account. I have one vehicle. Purchased one set of New, not Used tires. Need help getting this corrected.
Desired outcome: Get second fraud account stopped and all monies paid on it, transferred to first account. I only bought one set tires and they are old and used. Not new.

On May 24 my wife and I went to Ventura TV to purchase a new refrigerator we were financed thru Acima credit Ventura delivered the refrigerator there driver was supposed to hook it up,he said he didn't have any tools or parts we paid for hookup service he plugged it in and left I did not work we called Ventura back the ordered a repair man from Applied service plus who came a week later to look at it he went and ordered parts which came in a week later when he arrived on 6/8/22 he found he had a wrong part he went back to order 2 parts at this time I began getting more frustrated because we purchased a new refrigerator not a refurbished one I tried to get Ventura TV to replace this one but they were Adamant about fixing this one I didn't pay to get fixed o payed for a new one so my wife reached out to Acmia Credit to replace or take back this pice of junk. We are still waiting in the meantime I went and bought a new refrigerator

Acima customer service
I have used Acima many times and I receive Early retirement benefits on the 4th Wed of the month which is how I have always paid my account with Acima. But for this application I was told that I have only one payment option with my 1st payment due on the 13th of May. I would like to pay the 1st early payment option and pay this in full by the 2nd of August, 2022. Your customer service reps are rude and hang up on the customers.
Desired outcome: Pay once monthly starting on the 27th of May

Reopened my account without notice
March 1st I made a payment of $148 towards my payment. I asked the rep how much I had left to pay off my account, he told me $348. I told him that I will be making this payment on the 15th. He asked me will I call it in or doing it online since it would be easier to do it online. I said online. Not once have I ever had to contact Acima and tell them 2 days in advance that I will be making a payment so that the $62 monthly payments would stop. I paid the last amount due and I received an email and it stated on the account my account was closed and paid off. Today, I went to look at my credit history and it showed that acima was still active and I owed $1000. When I called they said it was due to to a payment of 62 that was kicked back. I asked for what date, the rep said for the 15th. I explained to him that I paid it off so it shouldn't be automatically trying to pull out any more money. That's stealing. He said well, you should call 2 days in advance to let us know this so we can stop that payment. I told him I let the other rep know 2 weeks in advance and it should have been shown on the account that I was paying it off on the 15th. He goes to his manager and he says that the only way I can close this account is to pay the $62 plus $25 for process fee to close this account. This us unacceptable. I've worked with acima more than 4 times and I've never ran across anything like this. This is high way robbery.
Desired outcome: I paid the account off before the 100 day buy-out. I have honored my side by doing so, so my account needs to be closed.
Fraudulent credit filing against my credit report on experian
I check my credit reports regularly. Last week I looked at Experian and there was something on there about some lease I had that had not been paid. I have not had any leases in over 15 years and they are showing me $532 past due on a balance of $4876! I contacted the company, ACIMA, and they could not match my phone number of email to my supposed account...

My name is Maria Perez I have paid 3 different leases with Acima lease1835683, lease 2541464 and the last one paid today lease 9853990. On this last one it was a nightmare by payment not being taken out on the correct paydates and a lack of comunication with the customer. They have no feelings for they customers they speak with. Today March 31 was supposed to be my last payment. Acording to the representative because they could not get the payment, ! Thats right the payment is supposed to come out today this is the second time I have to be put trew them making me feel like I don't make my payment. Also there was no written communication after the first incident that the payment was comming out befor my paydate because of the 90day purchase option. When I sple to the last reprsentative and asked if i had enough time by my paydate he told me had plenty of time. I call today and I get this bombshell that they tried to get my payment on the 28th when it's not supposed to they see what my pay cycles are and charged me 100.00 dollars extra. That will deffinetly be my last payment or purchases with Aciman they should have waived that fee especially seeing how I've been a loyal customer this is my loss and also Acimas. I never want to deal with them ever again.

Dont trust this company. If you buy furniture and you want return money wont be given back even if item is in good condition. They alway find a reason to charge without best interest or protect the customer. They claim they never got any photos of item meanwhile no one ever replies email
Its not first time I used this company . id rather buy furniture from amazon even thats a run around headsche to deal. But I feel more straight shooter deal.
Acceptance now and acima. Both should be monitered and have insync management better quality personnel handling peoples delicate matters. I read alot of the complaints. Much can be prevented. Or shut down both company's depending on improved scenes or if same type complaints then have the company s screened behind scenes.

very disappointed with this company no tolerance towards their client. I started a month before going to basic training and I normally pay since the payment was automatic so I had no worries about that just not knowing that you had a deadline because for two and a half months i did not have access on my phone and now i am being told to pay double i tried to negotiate with them because currently i am in Ait and financially i am unstable to try to find an arrangement because i made them knowing that honestly it wasn't my fault and one of their operators were very rude on the phone to me which I didn't like at all

The customer service with Acima
The customer service is horrible; they make extra money by blaming the customer for their mistake. They lack transparency and do not care about the customer. I asked to speak to the Supervisor, and he was worst. He could not understand my frustration with their misinformation and practically called me a liar. I am sharing this concern to make other customers aware of how this company practices its business.
Desired outcome: To waive the fee for their misinformation on the account balance.
Best Buy taxed my total amount and them Acima taxed it again
I have used Acima in 2019 to buy a bedroom suit out of the mall and had a very pleasant experience. I thought I would use them again to get a washer and dryer. I called Acima to see how to apply and was on the phone with the rep for 1 1/2 hours to purchase the stackable unit and sign the contract. I saw on line Acima bought AcceptanceNow which I've used 5-6 times before. Come to find out after signing my lease they are nothing alike. AcceptanceNow does not charge you a fee. If you pay it in 90 days you only pay the sale amount and taxes. Best Buy unit was 1394.99 plus tax 97.65 totaled 1492.64, then Acima took the 1492.64 and taxed it again 112.88 totaling 1605.52 with a 120.00 fee to use Acima even though I'm doing the 90 days so my total owed is 1725.52. I asked for a supervisor she (Christina) stated she had to check with the resolution team. She came back and stated since I bought it off line they can do that. That's fraud. They debit my card twice for the initial payment of 70.94 I called my bank and I'm disputing the charges. I cut off my debit card and I'm on hold with the bank to change my checking account. I told Acima to come and get this unit and I requested a call back from a Manager in the morning. DO NOT USE THEM. They are not like they were a few years ago now they're doing things and coming up with their own rules which are against the law.

Asima Created a Fraudulent account using my credit
March 12th 2022, I was notified by Experian I was 30 days late on an electric scooter that I never open an account for. I call Asima and got the run around and was given incorrect web addresses to file fraud charges.

My name is Dave Boyce and I am sending you this message to advise that the account opened with your company is fraudulent. Someone used my name and Social Security number to open an account totally without my authorization. I discovered this fraudulent activity on or about April 22nd. I discovered that an account was opened on December 23, 2021 using my name and social. When I contacted ACIMA, I was told by Antonio to file a police report. I am attaching a document which shows I filed a report with the 105th Precinct, located in Queens Village, New York. I also filed a dispute with Experian credit bureau. I would eventually like this account eventually removed from my credit report As it is negatively affecting my score. I sent this same information in an email to fraud@acima.credit.com and it bounced back. I resent it to fraud@acimecredit.com. Lets see what happens. I would like the number to Acima's fraud department. This is beyond ridiculous. I need ACTION!

Unauthorized credit card charges
Worst company and customer service. Take your business somewhere else. Dealing with these people I don’t know how they’re not shut down. They will take out payments on your credit card without Authorization on any days you agree on. I’m in a current situation with a disputed charge that takes time and will not be solved easily. Their process and way of doing business is unorthodox and will leave you without money.

Look I made a one time payment for a friend in the amount of 27.00 around the 1st of February to a company called mattress by design I wasn't aware until a couple of days ago that it was processed by the credit place called acima..my ex nabor Margaret green asked me to pick up a mattress for her because I have a truck. I was told that a payment was due for 27.00. After speaking with Ms green I agree with her to make the payment on her behalf. She returned the money to me when I got back with her mattress as it was 35 miles away from her house.. This is a mattress she is under a lease with this credit company.. I have not signed anything making me responsible for her lease. From what I understand is when her banking account failed to render the monthly payment for her mattress then they took it apon themselves to charge my chime card.. enclosed is screen shots that I received from Ms green proving that I was not or ever agree to be responsible for her debt. What this company done here is fraudulent unauthorized and illegal... If you were to ask them if I have a account with them they would tell you that I don't and never have . I'm extremely disappointed in chime for dismissal of my funds taken from me as I'm disabled and don't have food for the month.
Stopped automatic payments
I purchased a mattress on Oct 1, 2021 for $748.99 and signed up for the 90 day lease option with Acima with automatic payments being taken out weekly. I paid an extra payment on Oct 13th, and after that three automatic payments were paid out of my account. I paid another extra payment on Nov 4th leaving a balance of $107.10. I assumed the remaining balance would be paid by the automatic payments long before the 90 day lease ended the end of December. I was unaware the automatic payments were discontinued after the Nov 4th payment without my knowledge and the 90 days ran out unfinished without my knowledge. Now, three months later I recieved an email saying my lease ran out & I now owe another $600 after I have paid $641.89 on a $748.99 mattress.
Desired outcome: I would be glad to pay the remaining $107.10 left on the original agreement but do not feel I was treated fairly and would like this issue resolved. I like the mattress, want to keep it, and am willing to pay what I agreed to and no more.
ACIMA resolution department failed to do their job in a timely manner and now I’m paying the hefty price! I initially purchased a bedroom set from a local consumer. The 5 drawer chest and mattress were delivered two weeks later, but the bed frame with storage drawers, dresser, and nightstand were all on back order. I was making biweekly payments of $178 for 3 months for items I did not even have possession of yet. I was notified by consumer three times of a delay in the delivery of merchandise and finally grew tired of waiting. I ended up canceling my order of remaining items and purchasing a bed elsewhere. I immediately contacted ACIMA to notify them of the cancellation and spent over a week continuously speaking with customer service, resolution staff, and the consumer to ensure that my account was properly updated. I even expressed concerns with my early payoff date quickly approaching and I needed to know what the new amount for just the two items in my possession would be which I intended to payoff. I was assured by ACIMA’s resolution staff that they were working on adjusting account as quickly as possible. Coincidentally, the account was updated one day after the expiration of payoff date and I was told that The payoff date had expired. So even though I had already paid a total of over $1200 at this point, ACIMA refused to negotiate with me so now I’m left having to pay over $4000! The mattress cost $750 and dresser was $568… CROOKS!

I was sold a washer and dryer from South Ga appliance it didn't work I call the company again the same day they brought it out and was told a lie about a service tech coming out he came the next day he told me the valves was no good and both appliance motor was about gone. They quit answering my calls.sold I look at paper he gave me and got mad on this paper it said I owe Dan near over thousands dollar. I know this wrong the washer and dryer was only 499 plus delivery and taxes o give him 200 I used a credit card and cash which it would left me owing about 300 and some change he told me 54.00 for 5 months .I have proof this

Sold a broke washer and dryer
I purchased a washer and dryer from South Ga appliance o 01/26/22 after they installed it I went see how it works 1st thing I notice was a lot of water on the laundry room floor then I heard dripping the washer was dropping water in the inside of the washer I turned it on it made where sounds and wouldnt work so I said let me check this dryer it no lint filter and made loud bumping sounds and smoke coming from the back. I owed $300 in December 2021 to payoff couch, was short $100, that was my 90 day payoff, since i did'nt have enough money to payoff in december they are now making me pay $800 to pay off couch. Acima Credit over charged peoples, when you can't make a final 90 purchase of 100, and they make you pay 131 because you are short. Now i have to pay $800 to payoff 745.00, every month is 131. How to fix this

ACIMA, has been notified many times to STOP debits OUT of an account from Wells Fargo of Marva R. Sanders, they have NOT Stop, and keeps going into an account that is no Longer hers. The Products that was obtained from was with Guaranteed Tires in Greer, SC, It was Coil, and other parts that was BAD and ACIMA was NOITIED to STOP DEBITS out of an account because the PART DAMANGED THE VEHICLE and Marva R. Sanders is not able to drive her vehicle, also they claim that there is 10 Payment on only 232.00 and then they are also debiting another amount out as well . 187.00 and 112.00. Wells Fargo has put a stop payment on these DEBITS but ACIMA WILL NOT STOP ! the other choice is to go to the supreme courts because this seems to be happening to many consumers and they will not stop, HOW ARE YOU GONG TO CHARGE 10 PAYMENT ONLY ON 200.00 IT IS INSANE.

Coleman 98cc go kart, rejected after took payments
I was approved for online at tractor supply for go kart..they approved contracts and took my down payment...sent confirmation I will sign start of contract when item arrives..now after 4 days I call back and they say they can't do it cause it's gas. .but yet I can buy a riding mower or generator which uses gas...now I missed the sale price and can't afford to get this for my son...this is pure b.s..you should never approved contract or took my payment If it wasn't allowed...think I need to speak to a attorney..it is under 100cc coleman go kart
