Adam Cohen usually advertises on Craigslist, mostly real estate dealings. Takes deposits on the property and then disappears. He has also used these names - National Short Sales Inc., Adam Cohen, Inc. He also does business in San Diego and Florida as AGUSA (Auctions Global USA) with partner Frank Farricker of EBT Realty in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Adam Cohen scammed me using his real estate business in NYC in 2008, I am still trying to recover that money. He took the deposit and ran away. He now founded new comapnies PacVest and Auctions Royal www.pacvestinc.com www.auctionsroyal.com/
I wish I had seen this sooner. He also scammed me, just recently in 2010.
Adam Cohen from PacVest Inc is an internet scammer and must be stopped. He charges deposits and doesn't give the money back.
Adam Cohen uses paypal to pretend to return the money with stolen credit cards, etc. Paypal gets flagged and takes the money back from you. DO NOT EVER GIVE HIM ANY MONEY.
Did anyone try going to small claims court or filing police charges? I have! But investigation is ongoing. What was your outcome?
I wire transfered a deposit for a condo from Craigs list to a company called PacVest. The reservation was cancelled two days before we were about to leave. Adam Cohen promised ten times to send our money back. Never received anything. I have made complaints with the attorney generals office in Florida, and the FBI. As of yet, no action. This type of activity destroys the economic fabric of the internet and must be stopped.
If you were scammed by Adam Cohen, please contact me at global071@gmail.com, as I am gathering all complaints for a criminal case to stop this guy from stealing people's money.

He offered me to rent
475 BRICKELL AVENUE, UNIT # 4213, MIAMI, FL
Unit 4213 in Icon Brickell belonging to LUZERNE PROPERTIES INC.
He asked for a deposit of $1200 with a very sketchy invoice. When I asked him to confirm his ownership of the house, his company's tax id, or an office address, he rejected my request and emphasized that it was too personal.
As a result, I did not pay him the deposit.
This is a real estate scam. Stay away from him and his ventures. a Real scam.

did anyone catch this Adam Cohen? He tried scamming me 5 months ago and seems he scammed over 20 people, wire fraud... he needs to goto jail before he victimizes more people.
Sounds like the same guy that tried to scam me in nyc in 2008. talks fast and with a british accent. He was trying to sell me a condo at 175 E 2nd St and the deal sounded too good to be true. I still almost when for it until I saw a couple of misspelled words in the contract (red flag) and then googled him. Apparently he had others putting deposits on this same condo and they lost their money. An investigator called me to get some info on him. I was one of the lucky ones.
This guy is a total Scam Artist. He will lie, cheat and do anything to not only take your money, but personally screw your whole business up! This guy should be thrown in jail, everything out of his mouth is total BS. He led me on for over 5 months and took thousands of dollars upfront and then cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest due to all his delays and story after story after story. He will tell you he has his own fund or partners in other funds, meanwhile he has NOTHING! He bounced a $600 check three times to another investor that he tried to put my deal thru and couldn't even cover a $600 check, real Big Shot! DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY A DIME UP FRONT AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME DOING ANYTHING WITH HIM, HE WILL NOT PERFORM, HE IS A HUGE WASTE OF TIME!
Has anyone gotten anywhere with this guy? He scammed me out of $15, 000 in NJ in 2009. He pretended to have authorization to sell a property in Newark NJ and took a deposit through his NY real estate agency company. Gave numerous excuses and delays for months and months. Paid a small fraction back (2k or so) when I threatened legal action. Wish I knew the property legal channels to work through back then...
These accusations have ZERO basis. Amazing how when someone provides a quality service with all fees disclosed UP FRONT, and out of no where other professionals condemn the person because he's actually successful. I know there is a lot of hate towards Americans with accents, people who have immigrated here. And that is exactly what this is, prejudice racist bias, born from jealously and hate.
