Darnel, Bill, and Calvin were so cool! They were not judgy, nice, and worked hard. I'd tell everyone to use them! They helped me go through years of "collecting" a little bit of everything and we threw away so much stuff I didn't need anymore! The best part was we gave about 30 bags of gently used clothes to our local clothing shelf. These guys came to help me and they did. I'm grateful for their work, their attention to my stress, and I really liked that they worked at MY speed. I didn't feel rushed or pushed to throw or donate anything I didn't want to. I felt good with them in my house and I trusted them all the way. I have my main living space, my basement, my garage, and most importantly, my master bedroom back! Thanks Address Our Mess!

I thought the whole process would be a hot mess and embarrassing, and that I wouldn't have any say in what went down. But for real, I didn't feel judged and I had a say in everything. The crew was chill and took their time, but still got the job done quick. They showed up when they said they would and worked hard all day. I hit up Address Our Mess 'cause their website made it seem like they were more than just some randos coming to take my stuff to the dump. They promised to be professional and caring, and they totally were. I'm happy with the service I got and feel like my money was well spent.

I found Address Our Mess online when I really needed a service that could clean out an apartment that had been empty for over a year and a half and was not in good shape. I had a lot of papers, mail, clothes, and junk that had accumulated over almost 20 years, so the apartment was extremely messy. The furniture was old and not in good shape and needed to be thrown out. Address Our Mess sent a crew of 3 who totally cleared and cleaned out the apartment in just a day and a half and left it broom clean. It was amazing, and the crew was considerate, thoughtful (saving any photos or other personalty they thought I would want but missed), and dedicated to doing a great job. The office/administrative staff were diligent in getting things set up and making sure the job was done. I definitely recommend this service to anyone needing a complete cleaning out.

I had a good start with Address Our Mess, LLC. I had three sections of my basement to clean, and they got to work right away. After three hours, they took a lunch break from 12:10 to 2:05. They finished the second section, and I went down to show them what I wanted to save in the last section. At 5:00, they came up with coats on and said they were done. It had been eight hours, but they were only here from 9-5 minus lunch hours. I was told they guaranteed they would be here for 10 hours, but they said I should find things for them to do. They told me the office doesn't know how long things take and pushed the paper at me to sign before leaving. They were three hefty guys, and I am 72, so they left me to deal with everything. I called Megan and left a voice message, but I got no response. They continued to take out payments without hearing from me. After months of still having the smell and stain problem, I texted the girl that collected from my account, but I got no reply. I never heard from anyone, and now I owe my last payment. What kind of professional business is this? Their fees are high, but for the time I was guaranteed, it sounded fair. They worked for six hours, not the ten hours I paid for, and I WANT TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE!

This company is amazing! They came to my mom's house in Illinois and cleared out all her stuff in just 3 days. The crew was on time and worked really hard. The house is two stories with 3 bedrooms, a sunroom, an attic, a basement, and a garage full of stuff. I thought it would take 4 days, but they finished early on day 3. They even cleaned the floors and toilet! My sister and I live in other states, so it was hard to help my mom. When we had to put her in assisted living, we needed to clear out the house. I called 3 companies, but only Megan from Address Our Mess called me back. They were fast and easy to work with. I read a complaint on ComplaintsBoard.com, but it seemed like the person didn't mark what they wanted to keep. We had big signs on things we wanted to keep. The crew moves really fast, so I almost lost my reading glasses, but I got them back. If you have a hoarding situation, call Address Our Mess! They are impressive! I hope I never need them again though! Thank you!

This was a great experience
This was a great experience. Two kind men cleaned out my entire houseand then cleaned all the doors and walls. They also took up and disposed of the carpet in three bedrooms. All this was completed within a weeks time. They were very kind and patient throughout the process. I would highly reccomend their sevices.

This company did great work. The team sent to perform our work was professional and organized and well-equipped for the job at hand. The communication and agreement process was clear and concise, and the pricing was, in our opinion, fair. We are more than pleased, and highly recommend this company for any type of similar cleanup.

I had to clean out my mothers home that had generations of clutter and I was completely overwhelmed. Colleen and Meaghan responded to me very quickly and set up a time. Matthews and his team were extremely helpful and non-judgmental. Matthews understood what I wanted to keep and what to get rid of, and I wasn't extremely clear, as I was so completely stressed by the entire mess. This is a wonderful company for anyone who needs help with clutter/hoarding issues.

Avoid this company totally! They do not deliver what is promised. The negative reviews above are totally my experience also. This company is dishonest and disrespectful to their customers suffering from mental illness. Waste of my money, my patience, and my trust. The owners of this company should be ashamed of the way they treat people they are pretending to help. And the bullying in the response to the "1" rating by the managers - UNFORGIVABLE! Bet they won't post this!

In 2012 When I was looking for a service to help me clear out things from my 2 bedroom apartment. The website instructed you to click on a map of the US. on the state you live in. The closest place in my state was the state capital. At that time all the states showed the same person. I had not clicked to look at other states until later. I had only clicked on my state They were actually located in MD. I sent them pictures. I had no structural damage, no pest of any kind, no filth, no food mess, and no mold or mildew. All I had was clutter. They charged $8000. I was desperate to get the clutter gone so I paid it. When the two workers came, who were very nice, they had equipment for major problems I did not have, like HazMat masks and huge rolls, of plastic wrap and insecticides. When I called the owner he only agreed to refund $215. I think that he took advantage of my desperation.

My therapist recommended I use AOM to clean out my clutter and mess before I moved from Delaware to Tennessee. The folks in the office, Colleen and Megan, and the cleaners, Denard and Matthews, did an excellent job for me. They arrived on time and assured me they were here to help. I couldn't have found two nicer gentleman if I tried. They really helped me to understand that I needed to get rid of a lot of junk. At the end of the first day, Denard made the decision to come back for a second day. I have both physical and psychological limitations. They understood my situation completely. They'll be back in about a week (I kept changing the date of their second-day appointment, but Colleen said that wasn't a problem). I'm looking forward to seeing Denard and Matthews next week for day two. They've dealt with all kinds of hoarders; but they used their hearts, minds, and able bodies to make my life and move to Tennessee so much easier. They are a true blessing to me.

Hired Address Our Mess. Cleaners came on June 21 to apartment. Discovered later that they had stole 1000 cash from a box in the apartment.

I hired Address our mess to clean and organize my house, but it was a disaster. They just threw everything into trash bags without any care. I asked them not to throw everything away, but they didn't listen. They didn't even clean a dish, just threw it away. They were supposed to be here for 6-8 hours, but left before 2 hours. We were charged a deposit of $1500 and put on a payment plan for the rest. I didn't see the work 100% done. My wife complained to the business, and they agreed that the job was done. They made an appointment to come back, but we had to cancel due to a health problem. We left a message, but no one called us back. I reversed the $1,500 charge because the services promised never really happened. We have emails, recorded voice conversations, photos, and video of the work not being done. Today, Address our mess finally called and left a voicemail saying that we needed to call them back. When I called back, I was yelled at. They said that one day of work was completed, but nothing was done, and we never agreed to this being a multiple day job. It was supposed to be done in one day 8-10hrs, not less than 2hrs. That's why I reversed the charges.

When I arrived, they were willing to come back, but they didn't do anything and left quickly. They didn't even want to do a final walk-through. My mom paid $7,500 for a full-service cleaning, but they didn't do anything right. They only removed the clutter on the first two days. The contract clearly stated that they would clean the entire house, but they didn't. My mom was in the hospital during the cleanup, and when she came back, she couldn't stay in the house. She had to stay with family members. The team took advantage of her weakened state and did as little as possible on the third day. I have pictures to prove that the house was not clean. We want the company to compensate my mom for their failure to comply with the contract.

I hired Address our Mess to clean my crib. They came on February 3-5, 2022. I paid them 3500 for the first day and 2200 for the next 2 days. Three things went down that I wanna talk about. I had to teach on Zoom and couldn't be with the dudes cleaning the crib. So I told them to do the kitchen but only take out food products, nothing else, except a basket of food to save. They didn't do that and in the process threw away the basket of food that was to be saved, family recipes, and favorite mugs. I was able to save one mug (my hubby's favorite mug from his favorite student) which I put in what I thought was a safe location but they did come back multiple times to that area to remove things and had to tell them no. After they were gone, I realized the mug was gone. When doing the basement, I told them that everything in the room (to the right should be cleared but not to touch anything in the main area (except to throw away the litter boxes. After doing part of the crib with another worker, I came to the basement to find a large segment of the main room gone. They claim to then take it all back. But I kept saying it was more things. In that process, they threw away all of my family ornaments. All of these things were invaluable and irreplaceable. Then I found money missing from my purse. Can't be 100% sure they stole it but it is the most likely explanation (more I could add but running out of characters). They have you sign a satisfaction certificate when they leave. I felt pressured to sign it. The person was standing right there. I am a woman alone with men. I was already so upset that I just signed it. They have you sign it at that time and in that way specifically to create that pressure and avoid accountability later. Clear from responses to bad reviews that is how it is being used. Just left the message but I have not heard back but wanted to issue the complaint as soon as possible just in case nothing happens. More to say but not enough cha.
