Aeropostale return issues

I received an aeropostale sweat suit as a gift but it was too small. Unfortunately, i was not given a receipt, so i did not expect a refund, but felt it was reasonable to be able to exchange the hoodie and pants (With tags still attached) for another suit that fits. I visited one store and called several others and every store said something completely different (And none could help me out) . So, i emailed the company and they said, "as an accommodation, we are offering exchanges to customers without the receipt for holiday purchases until january 31, 2015. The exchange can be of the same item or a different item for the same selling price or higher. " yet not a single store i communicated with seemed to acknowledge this. Now i'm stuck with an overpriced sweat suit that does not fit, not to mention the amount of time i wasted.

I received a e-receipt in my email mailbox for 7 items that I never purchased. The credit card number was not mine but it was delivered to my email. I want to know what happened.

Aeropostale overpriced clothing

My grandmother bought my sister and I each a hoodie and cami for Christmas this year. My sister's hoodie didn't fit her so she was going to exchange the sizing of it. I simply have enough of these items that I didn't want anymore. So we went in with the receipt, the representive gave us a gift card with a grand total of $14.85 each, even with 70% sale going on you cant buy much .My sister couldn't afford to get something of the same quality hoodie that price instead she was forced to get a pair of $12 sweat pants on sale and a lip gloss. The original retail price was over $60 but because it was bought on sale amounted to $14.85. A decent hoodie on SALE is $20.00 so you have pay extra money. I would have rather had the cash then the gift card. With mine I bought a pair of $10 sweat bottoms and 2 lip glosses. that totaled my amount. I am sick of the outrageous prices and cheap quality clothes. You wont see this girl buying from them again.

Aeropostale bedbugs

I went shopping in aeropostale on December 14th 2013 and was in the fitting room tring on women's clothing. Within minutes I started to itch and when I looked on my arm I had five bugs crawling on it! I was so grossed out that I left the store came home and stripped my clothing off outside. This store is infested! My husband was holding the clothes and he to has welts all over his arms! Do NOT shop here unless you want BEDBUGS! I captured one and put in in a napkin and my friend who is a exterminator confirmed it is a bedbug. AREOPOSTALE You need to fix this and you should pay to have your customers homes exterminated!

Aeropostale manager abuse

There is a female manager in this store who was degrading a female employee. She told this young girl that she wasn't putting used hangers away correctly. When the girl replied that she believed she was doing it the way she'd been shown she was told to get on her knees and take another look at them. The girl refused. This girl was also told that she needed to wear different pants going forward because she's "too big" to wear what she had on. This girl was definitely on the short side, but i doubt that she weighed over 100 pounds. This type of treatment of an employee, and in front of customers no less, is appalling. As a parent this is very upsetting to witness, knowing that there is a chance that my own boys have been treated this way in one of their own part time jobs. I wish now that i had said something to defend this girl, but at the time I didn't want to embarrass her any more than she already was. There's no reason for this and i hope this isn't something that is common in your stores. I will not shop there again.

Aeropostale clothing size!

I'm a 15 year old girl, I'm plus size & hate that i cant wear Aeropostale clothing, they should make there sizes up to 3X ! I'm so sure so many plus size girls would buy they're clothing.. Its not fair! Size shouldn't stop someone from being able to dress cute or have cute style. PLEASE change this? Would it hurt to make sizes for everyone? Aeropostale would make so much more money. There loss!

Their stuff also runs small to size.Some companies want a certain look for their clothes, and that's just the way it is.They are so expensive it's stupid anyway.Plenty of other cute labels want your business, so forget them!

Aeropostale manager

The manager of the tricounty store (Danny) is extremely rude and lacks poor customer service. I have visited the store several times and he is more rude (if possible) each time. I am not normally one to complain but his actions were uncalled for. I have heard several customers complain. I have also heard that several employees have quit because of him (of course that is here say). I will be taking my business elsewhere as long as he is associated with the store. I know several others that also will be going elsewhere.

Aeropostale discrimination

I am from Montreal Canada. I'm in vacation here in Denver Aurora at my family's. I would like to make a complaint regarding your store assistant manager at Castle Rock. I am a customer and yesterday, January 5th 2013, I went to Aeropostale in Castle Rock. By chance, I noticed that the store had a 30% off promotion. I wanted to take advantage of the sale so I wanted to return a 200.00 worth of clothing that I got at Aeropostale at Aurora mall on January 2nd and to get them with the discount. The lady said that I couldn't return the stuff, even though I had a receipt and the stuff were brand new with still all tags attached and were bought only 2 days ago. The lady also said that since I bought them from a different store ( Aurora Mall ), I couldn't return them here. I told her that the policy of the receipt specify return possible in 60 days in any US store. She then accept but weren't happy to do it and her name is Shannell ( superior manager ). But my complaint isn't again her but against the assistant manager : This assistant was against what was doing Shannell for me and she whispered something in her ear while Shannell didn't listen to her and kept on doing my return and purchase. She then turn to me and my aunt, gave me a dirty look and a shire remark saying : you guys are lucky it wasn't. I just ignored her since I didn't even talk to her from the beginning : she wasn't dealing with my return at all. She left then the cash after her rude attitude. I purchased over 150.00 this day for me plus the refund and repurchase I made for my brothers in Montreal, I ended up spending about 300.00 in your store in less than a week. From the stuff I got for myself, I got some wrong sizes so went back today January 6th to ONLY EXCHANGE THE SIZE. When I walked in the store, Yvonne was by the door and when she saw me she gave me a look of disgust and turned her back on me. I picked the stuff I needed and totally ignored her and went to the cashier to exchange. Yvonna, this assistant manager that gave me a bad comment the day before, came behind the cashier Courtney D. that was helping me and said to me in a rude way :"I though the superior manager told you to not make exchange to you anymore." I told her that I bought it yesterday from THIS store and grabbed the wrong sizes she than understood she was wrong and left the cashier with not even a small apology. The cashier was very nice and even told me:"I'm sorry about what just happened." I was upset and told Yvonne that was passing next to me to give me her name. She didn't appreciate that and tried to fool me by giving me 2 different names on a paper : Shannell in first and hers in second. I told her I want YOUR name since no one else did anything bad to me so she then told me it's the second one. I finished my transaction 5 minutes later and bought stuff too. I was leaving the store when I saw Yvonne with some security guards that asked me to leave the mall right now. I was shocked because I didn't do anything wrong. Yvonne lied to the security in front of me and told him : they got asked yesterday from Shannell to not come back in the store regarding some big issues. That was obviously a lie and Shannell didn't even mention about it to me the day before. So I tried to talk to her but she kept on lying in front of him. I got so mad she put me in such a shameful position in front of all the store including her employees and the customers plus the mall security guard so I insulted her. I felt discriminated and humiliated, my aunt and I, since I am not a thief and I was nice to all the rest of the staff. Security even took a picture of me on his cellphone and called the police : isn't that shameful ? She made up a story by saying that she called the security AFTER me insulting her which is a lie and made up a co-worker witness for her to the officer T. Black. After asking us both same questions separately, me her and the security guy of the mall, the officer realized who's lying and gave me a case number 13-807 and the employee's full name for a report and encouraged me to contact you. This event happened in your store 00600 and because of Yvonna Razzeca I got kicked from the entire mall. I'm not even a resident ! I am complaining for discrimination and personal attack against me from your assistant manager. I still have the receipt as a proof and hope to hear from you soon, if not my family in Denver has a family's lawyer and since I got a case number and the police with me, I'm going to take it far.

I have a cousin who manages a store in Texas, he let me know that since I am overweight, and in my 40's I will not be greeted or asked if I need help at his store. He says he doesn't care about people like me and would not spend anytime or energy trying to find out what I want.. I have a daughter who is 18 and she likes some of the clothes, so if I am shopping for her they really would not care either... He said he has in a very rude manner asked people to leave the store, especially people who come form Mexico to buy once every 2-3 months, he says he doesn't care if they have 1000 dlls in hand, he will not take just because they are Mexican and Rich... My cousin the manager also is Mexican, and he is old, in his 40's, fat and bald... He says that if he sells merchandise to someone like me, the image of his store will devalue. He does not hire anyone who wears a size bigger than a Medium, he says that is company policy... and he says this "go ahead, sue me, I will win, because we don't cater to overweight middle age women."... joke is on him, cause he can't even wear his own store clothes.. I'm pretty sure he'll be fired soon, not cause he is not doing his job, but because he is not "image" for that store...And he has done the same thing that Yvonne person did to you, he has lied to security about a customer who has defended themselves.. so if you take this up, I hope you can win, because they deserve all the bad publicity customers can give them. They are all a bunch of liars, who even lie about the true earnings, ... Best of luck.!

Aeropostale rude

I called about the sales and this girl named hope answered. She didn't greet me didn't tell me about any sales and what was going on in the store.She just hung up on me. She was rude when I had asked questions about a product suggested I go to another store to shop. It was just terrible costumer service and it makes me not ever want to go in there again.

I'm not. But if she knew she had another costumer she should have nicely and respectfully asked me to hold on but no she rushed me off the phone she had such a terrible attitude with me she hung up.

First of all she sounded like she 16 acted like she was 12 on the phone so I'm sure if doesn't matter if I called her a girl or a woman cause real women don't act rude and disrespectful.

First of all there is nothing wrong with my spelling and grammar. That whole 39 thing was a computer glitch. Second if the customer on the phone before me was a lady she should have hung up on her and helped me first because I am a man. She should not be working at all. Women belong in the kitchen and are only good for sex and nothing else. When I told her this she had an attitude. Probably suffering from PMS.

Aeropostale delivery gone wrong

I made 2 separate orders from Aeropostale.com online and one of the orders never made it to my door.. I called the customer service to complain about it and they said they would reship my items after they put a tracer on it.. Instead I received an email that they will not reship or credit me for my package..

I called Customer Service back only to be told they would send in another request which they did not.

This package contained Christmas presents for my 14 year old daughter. I make little to no money and that was all I could do for her and now I have nothing. I took it upon myself to call UPS (the courier) and upon further research they informed me that UPS is not liable for these type of issues and that the shipper (Aeropostale) is supposed to do a Tracer whether there was a signature or not which the system didnt show them doing..

I then requested that the UPS Customer Service Rep email the signature to me so that I can send it to Aeropostale..

I then called Aero back with the info and I was told That info is null and void and that once again my request has been denied. I spend money with these people and for them to just expect me to take this lost is ridiculous.

i;m a mother of two and I despite my low income, I still try to patronize a few company here and there but What the hell I have never received my order from the president day sale I ordered 3 canvas cross body bags and my picking(money) was taken out from my account. The address was in queens and I'm highly annoyed about the poor, bad, ###, ###ed up service I thought this company was legit however it's service doesn't say the same. ALL I WANT IS MY MONEY BACK OR MY ORDER. It's funny how i never received any E-mail about my order being delivered or any of such this was my first time and certainly a bad experience. I feel as if I was ripped off.A whole $200. How can you rob poor people (sniff) I wouldn't advice any of my friends to shop with you goons. How disrespected I felt.(angry face) (Sick company) You guys are ###ed up!. By the way that's 4 month saving could have gotten my order with another company and fast .You need to be more like Amazon RELIABLE. .

Aeropostale charged me twice and never received money back

I love shopping online and Aeropostale was one of my favorites. But not until they ripped me off. I already suspected that there was something wrong whenever I make a purchase and have them shipped for a friend outside the US. so here's what happened, I made my last purchase on Sept. 13 and had the items shipped to S.Korea, they automatically charged my debit account at that time for $53.46. Then after a few days I received an email from them confirming that they have already shipped my order. When I checked my debit account I found out that I was charged again for another $53.46, what the heck?! so, I contacted them and told me that I was only charged once and the other amount was the temporary authorization hold through my financial institution and would be released depending on their time frame. so, I waited.. Three weeks had past and there was no money returned to my account. Sent them an email again about it they asked a lot of info from me and promised that they will do everything to release that temporary authorization hold and fall back to my account, so after a few days I received an email again telling me that it has already been released and was placed back into my account. Then I checked my account again, the money that they took from me was not returned yet and for the nth time I contacted them again, Guess what! another representative told me that when my order was shipped out, the amount of $53.46 was charged to my account and would have replaced the authorization hold. WHaaat?! So this is another story? I don't know how to express what I feel now, DO they really think I'm stupid ? Aeropostale is a thief and you guys should stop doing business with them!

Aeropostale horrible customer servce!!!

My purchase order of 10 items on confirmed on 10/2/12, delivery was to be on 10/8/12, however, as of today 10/9/12 I did not receive my package. When I called UPS I was told that my order had never left Aeropostale's warehouse and was advised to call Aeropostale to discuss this with them. I spoke with a customer service rep. by the name of Alicia who told me my order had never left the warehouse and she would have my order re-shipped, HOWEVER, they no longer had one of my items in stock. I was transferred to her manager, Angela, who refused to help me. She said she would only refund my item but I asked if they could replace it with another jacket and she agreed. Angela and I found a jacket we both agreed on and she refunded my money for the item they no longer had in stock, HOWEVER, they no longer had my size in the replacement jacket so I chose another one but because that jacket was only $9 more she refused to compensate for all of the TROUBLE I've encountered with THEIR MISTAKES. She kept stating that she had refunded my money and whatever I chose to do with it is my business. What kind of customer service is this?! I am a frequent customer of Aeropostale's and think this is an INSULT! I will no longer purchase anything from Aeropostale. Angela is a manager and has absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE QUALITIES! I hope Aeropostale see's that because of one horrible person who represents them I will no longer be a customer and will make sure to post our recorded conversation on every media outlet I can, making sure to expose Aeropostale as the crook's they are.

Aeropostale customer service

I'm a father of 2 teen age girls, I have limited time with my girls but this passed weekend my girls and I went to Aeropostale, my youngest daughter was interested on a pair of skinny jeans, they were not priced, it was difficult to get a store associate to help us, my daughter asked a store employee how much the jeans were, she took the jeans to the desk and after a few minutes she came back and let her know she could not buy them because they were the last ones and she needed to come back tomorrow if she wanted to purchase them. I asked the store employee why would my daughter not be allowed to make the decision to buy them just because the store was not prepared to sell them, my daughter should not be punished! her reply to me was not an apology for the inconvenience, she said why are you yelling at me? my response to her was, who is yelling... she proceeded to turn around and walk away. The lack of ownership from this store associate as well as the manage, is a true reflection of the company and its values! they don't have a business culture where they want to provide associate who give great customer service, nor do they show appreciation for shoppers who made a choice to spend their money inside there store, on the contrary the criteria to work there must be look cute and your looks will carry you along! there is such lack of vision, this associate did not offered to look for a similar item or to call another store to get the price of the item, this item ultimately will be paying their bills! there was no effort made to make the sale more importantly there was no effort made to bring satisfaction to my child. I tried calling the customer service number left a message and I have not gotten a call back and the corporate office number does not work. I will not be surprise if this place goes out of business.

I received a pair of sweatpants for xmas size XL! The first time I wore them, the seat seam ripped apart! Very disappointed with the quality of this garment! I really thought I was receiving a quality garment which could be worn more than 1 day!

Myself Anand kendre made purchase from t-shirt at Aeropostale stores in Oberoi mall on 4th Aug. My purchase bills was INR 3, 000.
on first wash t-shirts colour defaced and spotted colour on t-shirt. What and how can u help in this regard should I proceed to consumer forum against Aeropostale brand

I was at Aeropostale today when I felt very uncomfortable when salesperson number 271819 assoc number 863860 made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. She accused us of stealing and if it happens again I will sue her for defamation of character

Aeropostale horrible customer service

I went into the Aeropostale retail store located in Cool Springs Galleria, FranklIn, TN at 10:45am on Saturday, April 21, 2012. I went in with my son to purchase some shirts. I saw the "buy 1 get 2 free" signage, and I was hopeful to find a great deal. My disappointment in the customer service shown today was so horrible that I had to submit a complaint. We were not greeted upon entering, and spent about 15 minutes browsing the shirts. We were confused as to which shirts were included in the sale, but could not find an employee on the floor to ask. Finally, after selecting several shirts, we approached the registers to ask. The young woman who we asked was so rude, that I was actually speechless. She pointed to certain areas to indicate which shirts were included, but when I asked for clarification, she actually raised her voice to me and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. We promptly put down the shirts we were going to buy, and took our business elsewhere. We visited Gap, Abercrombie and Hollister, where we were greeted with smiles, and our questions were answered politely. Some training on customer service needs to be implemented. Until I am informed that this has happened we will not be back.

Aeropostale rude manager with no manners to speak with customers

I am in vacation in florida and decided to go the aeropostale outlets store located in ellenton. The first impression I had was not the one I was used to any other store in the us, polite staff, good morning, how are you today, etc..., maybe because I was speaking my own language (Portuguese) no staff welcomed us. I picked up some tee shirts, boxers and sweats (About 150 dollars). I decided to pick up a short when suddenly I heard a loudy voice many times saying, "you are gonna a break it", I did not realized that it could be for me as I eas simply picking up a short from the upper section, a bit high for my tall (By the way I am 170cm and 42 years old). The manager came to me (Taller than me) and says with no manners at all, "I grabi it for you if not you will break something, the discusson started from the way he talked to me, I said to him. That it was impossible to break steel and I say to him thta I was 42 and there are manners to speak with customers, I was about to move back when, again the manager who was in service and did not want to give his name (He had a pin with the info a87') said to me"to the other way", how rude he was, everybody at the shop heard and were shocked with his atitude because he was the only one who was speaking, said to me to leave immedialty the premises, I was shocked, and security officers were just behind me to pull me out of the store, I asked his name and said to me that he was not obliged to give his name to"foreigners" once again I was shocked. As I did not want to spoil my holidays I decided to move back. One thing is sure, I will never buy goods from aeropostale as I will not recommend at all to visit the store, foreigners are not welcome, very bad image for the country. Even my bestfriend, american citizen and working on sales and customer services, said that she never had any experience in her life, never. She even asked ihnhe was on drugs. This manager does not have the profile at all to be a manager, no manners, no way to dress, shorts, tee shirts nd flip flops,. You dont see this in europe. I wll certainly go forward with this complain untill I reach the right person and have a formal apologies. Never seen in my intire life, and I see that I am not the first person to complain about a manager and the store.

He didn't care for you because you are 42 yrs old.. My cousin is a manager in one of the stores in Texas and he told me they don't cater to OLD people.. NO ONE CARES about you at any Aeropostal store if you are past the age of 18... and overweight. I hope you succed, cause they deserve to be called out for this, ...

Aeropostale bad managers

the stupid manager at P.S. in queens center mall in nyc her name is Regina and I'm sure that she is a assoc manager because any one in their right mind would never made her a manager. really corp office can't really know what is going and If Mr. julian P. Geiger knew how rude this girl is he would firer her in a second call me I will tell you a story that will made your head spin It is a shame unless you get rid of her I will never shop there again I can spend my cash anywhere I don't need P.S. Aeropostate . call me and hear the truth!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE / CUSTOMER SATISFACTION! DONE WITH YOUR STORES. WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE. I was returning a sz8 for a sz8 and they wouldn't accept it. Wasn't asking for anything more. The sz8 that I bought not too long ago was sized incorrect. Was really a size 7. Store MGR (Kerdine?) in Newark, Christiana Mall Dec. 2014 refused without receipt and called her supervisor (Rodney Rhodes) and he also refused. Regardless with me not having tags, or receipt they should take the pants back knowing it's default in size. Was bought not long ago. Customer service was poor and customer satisfaction was poor! Finally left the store to know that they wouldn't let me exchange for a more accurate right size8. Called customer service [protected] option #3 when I got home to find out that it's a recording and they don't call you back. I not only wasted my time, my energy but my gas from Middletown to Newark to make small return. Wasn't wanting anything extra, just wanted a correct fitting sz8. There was an inch difference. Wasn't what was marked on tag. I put up to all her other sz8 pants. Truly something was wrong. What happen to customer satisfaction? I have spent so much money through out the years in their stores for my three children. I am gathering ALL OF MY CHRISTMAS purchases that I have made for my children and nieces and nephews and returning ALL. I am now done with all of your stores! And I'm not even done here. I'm going to do a BIG write up on your store. Their attitude (and MGR even said) that doesn't matter, they are closing soon. Wow, spent all my money in here and that's what I get?!?

Aeropostale rude associate managers

My sister and I were shopping together and the associate told us to put our purchases together for a better deal. Well as I swiped my card for my portion I found a coupon on geoqpons for a better deal. When I asked to use it the associate and manager were very rude. Since she knew I worked cyst service, that it would hurt their numbers, I should know how it is! Then the other manager came over and asked what was goin on and proceeded to say oh fun as the associate was correcting it. How rude, sorry for trying to save a buck. U lost my business!

Aeropostale needs to do Boss under cover at the Queens Center Mall with a return make sure you get Regina and make sure you go to P.S. with a item from P.S. and one from Aeropostale and watch what this witch does I dare you CEO... you need People who will help you not will turn you off to that P.S. I will never shop there again as long as she works at that site. This this not the first time I complained about this girl… it gets brushed off Shame on Aeropostale

Aeropostale cashier error and rude manager

I'm a frequent shopper at this store and they had the give jeans get 25% off. So my mom had a few coupons and have me one I purchased an item and the cashier had no problem taking it it was 2 bucks off! So I leave the store and my mom calls me with an employee named Kim Gutierrez . She is tellingly that I was not suppose to get the percentage off and said that it was stealing.. Wow! How dare she say that I was taken back and I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I had asked the cashier if the coupon was good and he said yes and she is saying its stealing. Mind you my mom who is elderly is still at this store shopping . She takes moms coupon because her cashier made an error . I can't believe this supposively manager Kim! I will never shop at that store again !

Aeropostale worst online shopping experience ever

Wow, worst online shopping experience ever. Ordered 4 items, used my $50 gift card and remaining balance on my credit card. When i submit my order it says 3 items no longer avail. But the order for the 1 item went through anyway; didn't even give me the chance to review or cancel. So i attempt to cancel online but can't pull up my order. Called c.S. And they can't help me either and that i should keep trying; it's been almost two hours. The worst part, out of curiosity i inquire about the balance on my gift card and it says zero. How's that possible? The 1 item was nowhere near $50. I was told to call back the next day cause they can't do anything for me until then. Called the next day and they finally said that it was their system error and they had received numerous complaints from other customers regarding the same gift card issues. Yet, they can't credit my balance until several days from now. In short, they can't help me cancel my order but they can deplete my entire gift card.

Aeropostale awful experience

I was in the store trying to find a pair of jeans and picked up a pair that was the wrong size. I folded them and placed them back on the shelf exactly where they were and one of the employees came up and jerked the jeans out of my hand that I had just picked up. She did that to every pair I picked up. I thought maybe I folded them wrong and I apologized. Then she went to the manager and told her I was trashing the store, which I was not. I picked up another pair and went to try them on, again i had the wrong size, went back to swap them, when she jerked them out of my hands again and threw them at me. Hitting me in the face. I found the manager and started telling her what had happened and she only said it was hard to keep everything straight and defended the employees actions. I went and got my dad and he came in to ask what was the problem. She told my dad that I could not purchase the clothing I had already gathered and was going to buy. She called us trash and told us to get out of the store.

I have no idea what this girls problem was but I would appreciate it if something would be done about this particular store in the Colonial Mall of Gadsden. The Manager and the employee needs to learn how to treat customers. Their actions are unacceptable not to mention harassment. I am assuming there are cameras in this store and the proof should be on it. I will no longer shop at this store and will tell everyone I know about the employees. Also there were lots of witnesses to back this up. Considering also to consult with an attorney for the abuse I received.
