Mixed Experiences with Alamy Inc
As someone who appreciates the convenience of stock photography, my experience with Alamy Inc. has been a mix of highs and lows. While the platform boasts a vast collection of images, the clarity on licensing terms can be a bit murky. Some users have reported issues with image quality and misleading usage rights, leading to frustration and disappointment. On the other hand, there are positive remarks about the pricing structure and the extensive content available on the site. It seems that Alamy Inc. has room for improvement in terms of transparency and customer service to truly excel in the competitive world of stock photography.
Alamy: The Ultimate Destination for High-Quality Stock Photography
Stock photography - This place is really awesome to get stock photography or just browse through pictures. I spend hours on it. The website is easy to use and the pictures are high quality. You can find almost anything you need for your project. The prices are reasonable and the licensing options are flexible. I have used Alamy for several projects and have always been satisfied with the results. The only downside is that sometimes it takes a while to find the perfect picture, but that's just part of the process. Overall, I highly recommend Alamy for anyone in need of stock photography.
Alamy.com Review: A Good Resource for Pictures, But Not Always Fair to Photographers
Alamy.com is a website where you can find lots of pictures to use for your projects. They have a lot of photographers who submit their pictures to the website, hoping to make some money. But some people think that Alamy is not fair to the photographers. They say that Alamy sells the pictures for very low prices, and the photographers don't get much money. Also, some people say that Alamy doesn't always respect the copyright of the photographers.
Despite these criticisms, Alamy is still a popular website for people who need pictures. They have a lot of different types of pictures, so you can usually find what you're looking for. And if you're a photographer, you might still want to submit your pictures to Alamy. Even though you might not make a lot of money, it's still a way to get your pictures seen by a lot of people.
Overall, Alamy is a good website if you need pictures. But if you're a photographer, you might want to think carefully before submitting your pictures.

Alamy Review: Misleading Usage Rights & Aggressive Legal Tactics - Beware!
Alamy is not a website that I would recommend to anyone. The usage rights are very misleading and it is easy for inexperienced users to make mistakes. If you do make a mistake, be prepared for Alamy to come after you with very aggressive legal tactics.
If you have a camera, it is much better to take your own images than to use Alamy. If you need stock images, I would suggest going elsewhere and really making sure that you fully understand what license is being sold and when it expires. One wrong move and you could find yourself facing legal action from Alamy.
Overall, I would not use Alamy again and I would caution others to be very careful when using this website. The risks are simply too high and the consequences too severe.
Alamy Review: A Massive Selection of Photos and Libraries with Great Pricing and Customer Service
Alamy is a great website for anyone who needs access to a wide variety of photographs and libraries. The pricing setup is easy to understand and use, which is a big plus for me. But what really sets Alamy apart is the sheer amount of content that they have on their site. It's truly impressive!
I've been using Alamy for a while now, and I've never had any issues with the site. They always have what I need, whether it's a specific photograph or a library of images. And if I ever do have a question or concern, their customer service team is always there to help.
One thing that I really appreciate about Alamy is that they've recently started reaching out to me to establish a relationship. This is something that other stock photography sites could learn from. It's always nice to feel like a valued customer, and Alamy does a great job of making me feel that way.
Overall, I would highly recommend Alamy to anyone who needs access to a large selection of photographs and libraries. They have great pricing, a massive amount of content, and excellent customer service. What more could you ask for?
Alamy's Camera Requirements Are Frustrating and Inconsistent
I used to be an Alamy contributor, but not anymore! I had a really frustrating experience with them recently. I tried to upload some photos that I had taken with my iPhone and my point-and-shoot camera, but Alamy said that those cameras weren't suitable for their platform. They told me that I needed to use a DSLR camera with at least a 17 megapixel sensor. They even froze my account for three whole days!
So, I decided to invest in a new camera. I bought a Canon EOS 2000D, which has a 24.1 megapixel sensor. I uploaded some photos that I had taken with this camera, but Alamy said that the images were too small. They told me that I needed to use a DSLR camera with at least a 30 megapixel sensor. And, once again, they froze my account. This time, it was for six whole days!
I was really frustrated at this point, but I didn't want to give up. So, I decided to invest in an even better camera. I bought a Canon EOS 90D, which has a 32.5 megapixel sensor. I uploaded a photo that I had taken with this camera, but Alamy said that the image was too big! They told me that I needed to use a DSLR camera with a 24 megapixel sensor instead. And, once again, they froze my account. This time, it was for a whopping 10 days!
I was really disappointed with my experience with Alamy. It was a huge waste of time and money. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Images blurry; seemed to be over enlarged.
Details:
Paid for 2-3 day shipping, having Christmas in mind, with delivery by Dec 22nd. Order placed 16th Dec 2023. No shipping info received as of the 20th of December so I called a representative in the UK who assured me that the oder should still be received by Christmas if it shipped "today or tomorrow", although he provided no information as to the disposition of my order. On 26th December, with still no information on shipping, I placed an email to cancel the order. Denied.
So on 26th December I initiated a return... No response
But rather an email the following day that the order was in transit, and return information.
Dec 28,2023 received an email that order had shipped. Order arrived Dec 30th and both framed images blurry; seemed to be over enlarged.
I paid $28.87 for 2-3 Day delivery when actual was 14 Day delivery...
