this is the second Alcatel Cameo X I have purchased and they both have to be factory reset daily and more than once or twice daily what is the problem here I can't be the worst person with the worst luck in the world and buy two bad phones I said my complaint Too Short what the f*** do I have to do to get y'all to God damn make my phone get my phone correct the damn thing has to be factory reset just to make the ringer start working it did sometimes it quits 5 minutes after I reset it sometimes it quits a day after I reset it the most time is f****** for five f****** times a day

I don't know why this company still makes phones. Every single phone of this brand has been hell to use. It suffers from a HORRIBLE screen which will get stuck, glitch, or simply refuse to respond even when dialing a number. I won't ever get any phone of this brand even for free. Their phones feel cheaply made and I'm pretty sure they're made of cheap components as well. If Alcatel refuses to work on their products then either they should stop negating such or just leave business altogether.

I sent my cell phone to their Repair Center since August and I still don't have my phone in December. I have not less than 15 case numbers. I followed the procedure they sent me by email: I went to alcatel.finetw.com and they finally told me after a few months I should have sent it in Canada not in the US, however there is no canadian address on their website.
The supervisor who was supposed to call me never called me back and when I finally got one, he asked me to wait even if I suggested them to send me a another one. When I asked them how long it might take: 48h? 72h? they gave me this answer: "At the moment we don't have an exact time frame but we will find a solution as soon as possible."

Absolutely the worst customer service. You can call at 8 am when they first open or later in the day. Plan on being on hold for a very long time. When you finally get thru there will be a language barrier. I have had a phone of theirs a PIXI 4 for less than 6 months and the phone does its own thing INCLUDING butt dialing. The phone does not hold a charge. A replacement battery was to be sent out 7/3/17 and it is now 7/26/17, no battery. Very DISAPPOINTED with anything and everything from this company.

I ordered for Alcatel tablet last week from cyber offer through Carrefour webstore.We got it delivered after 2 days. It was a 2 peice offer and when opened found one tablet not getting charged and not able to on.
I sent complaint through one of your complaint site which I found and we went directly to the Ajman city centre from where we booked the item.The Alcatel personnel checked the item and found it not getting charged.
We requested for item replacement as we have not even used it as it was not getting charged.
The customer service is not ready for its replacement. In your site itself it, s showing the replacement of the damaged item on delivery. We are asking for the replacement of of the damaged one only. Customer service is opting for repair. We want the replacement or the refund of that item.

My name is Robin Mayer. I tried to call to customer service number to get help with phone I just purchased. The man was extremely rude. If I asked him to repeat, he replied "What did I just say?" I could not talk to him in a way that would help me get tech support. I asked him his name, and told me it was "mother F". The phone in question will not turn on. It is brad new. I have charged it fully. He told me to charge again with different charger. The book instructions explain only to use the charger for that device. I could not tell him this, I did not want to be insulted anymore. I am sending a copy of this email to Yelp, and corporate office. Wherever that may be. I am not sure if tech support is out sourced, but I am guessing it is. I will call customer care again, and I am going to record the call. No customer deserves to be treated in such a way.. I will find all your affiliates, and make sure to buy outside of this company.

Trying to transfer goverment phone service to another Trac phone. Was told that a new sim card would be mailed to me in 3 to 7 business days. Here it is 1.5 months later and NO SIMS CARD! I do not like being lied to. I would really like it if you would get rid of your overseas operaters because they do not know what the HELL they are doing! Poor phones, Poor service, Poor everything!
Had to use my warranty about 6 times to get six new phones. These phones are cheap and very poor quality. Do not buy these pieces of crap. All six died of natural causes. Woke up six mornings and all six phones wouldn't power on at all! T-Mobile sent me replacement phones and had me ship the defective ones back. And when we tried to call Alcatel for technical assistance, some foreign person with very poor English answered. I mean why not have someone who speaks proper English in your technical support committee? Every one of the replacement phones were used and refurbished! They all had some sort of problem with the proximity sensor. So the screen didn't even turn on when I pulled the phone away from my face during a conversation! I had to remove the battery or wait for the other end to hang up, to hang up the freaking phone! I am not impressed at all. Alcatel is by far the worst phone company that has transpired. Do not waste your time on them. Get a Samsung or Apple or LG or something that has better quality.

I bought an Alcatel Mini for around $130 in April, after the owner of the store telling me that "Its a great new phone, no ones ever had a problem with them etcetc" Yeah sounded too good to be true. Not even a month later the phone messed up. Screen wouldnt work, menu screen kept sliding down on its own and completely glitching out. I had to send it back through the store I bought it from. Took 2 MONTHS to get this phone back. Whoever send it, sent it to Toronto, kept it there and fought with another woman I was dealing with in the same store, and it took another 3 weeks after that to get this phone back. Needless to say they "Updated" it. Not 2 months later and the phone is already crapping out on me. Everything is unresponsive and takes 2 minutes to send a 2 letter text. Can't find any support for this and the store is only going to make me send the damn thing away for another 2 months. I want my money back, would rate 0/10 would not recommend this phone to anyone. 3/10 would not deal with same store if I had to deal with the owner again. Now looking at this phone online and apparently its 29.99 at Walmart. Yeah that should tell ya something right there.

The tablet that i recieved 6 month ago decided to stop charging and not switch on 3 months ago. So naturally i rang the company i recieved the device from. I have been hung up on numerous times, transferred to every department possible, given several numbers for other companies that lead to nothing at all. They gave me alcatels number as apparently because they provide tablet they repair them. So i thought ok fair enough rang alcatel anf they had no clue what i was talking about. I am at my wits end now and will be going to the 3 store again even though last time i tried that i was told that i had to call because that is how i got the tablet. I have no idea how i will right the situation if that doesnt work as i am paying for something i cant use. I should be refunded and problem fixed but that wont happen as 3 mobile dont have a clue about how to do anything properly. Their business is a total embarrasment!

Poor service
I purchased a Alcatel901 in December 2011, within two weeks I was not able to charge the battery. "invalid battery" Brought it back to cell provider, they replaced the battery and charger. Didn't resolve the issue. I was told that I would have to return the phone to Alcatel for repair or replacement and it might be over a month before I would receive a reply from Alcatel. I didn't have another phone, so I used my insurance to get another phone. BUT, I had to get the same type phone and pay $44.00 co-pay. Within a month, guess what? the same issue with the replacement phone. My cell provider replaced the battery and charger again, same results. So I purchased another brand name phone. For several days now I have ben trying to contact Alcatel for factory repairs. Have to listen to some awful music for 20 minutes at a time until I hang up. Then try again, same result, NO answer. I can just imagine what it will be like when I do get to speak with someone and get a conformation nuumber to send the phone in for repairs..I am sure I might as well kiss it goodby..NEVER again will I purchace an Alcatel product

Last summer, I purchased a phone from Cincinnati Bell. It was a flip phone made by a company called Alcatel. The phone was incapable of sending pictures and playing music, even though that was supposedly its main feature to rave about. One day, the charger stopped working. My phone lost charge and I had to keep it off, which was incredibly irritating. We went into a Cincinnati Bell and told what had happened. The lady said that we would have to mail in the phone so the Alcatel people could fix it. I got an even crappier "loan phone" which doesn't even have a camera. Two weeks later, we hadn't had any updates on my phone. We called and some worker answered in a foreign accent and said, "Hello? What is your name?" My dad said his name, and the response was: "And what is your name?" My dad said it again. The response: "And your name, sir?" My dad said his name and asked if the guy was clear. "Oh. OK." He said. That was 4 weeks ago. I want my phone back. I asked my dad what he was gonna do about it, and he said he called again and sent a nasty email, with no response. If I don't get my phone back, I have lost over 100 priceless photos and my SD card, which I stupidly left in my phone. I want my phone back NOW. It's not my fault Alcatel is run by incompetent fools who can't fix a freakin' phone, which is sorta their job! My family will never purchase an Alcatel phone again, and we are planning on switching to Verizon. Thanks, Alcatel.

I can't seem to remember which one I have, but it works horribly. It says it has 8 g of space. But- under the battery is says 6? Also 4g of that is system stuff and useless apps you cant delete. The weather app included in the phone showed up as malware, when i did a scan. Came with phone, so cant uninstall. the space that you can use, doesn't seem right. ATM I have no games installed and it says I have less then 500mb remaining. I have my written stories which take merely bytes, and some ebooks which range 200Kb to 3 or so MB. Shouldn't be taking up thst much space. I USED to be able to download a game. It almost seems like residual files and cache just sit there. I have tried countless file managers - even go through some files to see what's taking up all the space, and nothing . The battery... now that's another thing. If it charges, it dies fast. Either that or it charges super slow, like 5-10% an hour or it just doesn't charge at all. I can deal with the lack of space, as annoying as it is. If the phone won't charge, well then it's just a pointless piece of material. It's 1:26 pm, and has been on charger since 9am - stays stuck on 3%, and will automatically go to 0% when i turn the phone on. I can't even work on revising, and editing my novel now. 110% will not buy this brand ever again.
What we can conclude here is to never buy an Alcatel phone even as a throw away or emergency an Alcatel is the last type of phone you want to trust in an emergency
I have Alcatel Idol 5s .. it's a piece of crap. It cost $199 and it's acting up like crazy. When I type something it put in its own word. For example when I press p it automatically put in plk (letters that are close to the letter you pressed.) It freezes when I'm watching video . It doesn't recognize your fingerprint.smh I freaking hate it ... Waste of money

The battery isn't worth a damn, can't answer calls, I have to reset it every time I get off the phone just to text, when I press the button to call it takes awhile for the damn thing to actually do it, doesn't hang up when you want it to but hangs up during a conversation, memory sucks, every time I'm on the phone its opening up apps or going on speaker phone or muting because it's too sensitive, nothing but a piece of [censored], not ever buying one again, pretty [censored] when I look at the reviews and all I see are bad ones! Doesn't even deserve one star!
Touch screen is more like a finger hammering screen that STILL doesn't get it. Annoying beeps and settings, and just because you close an application doesn't mean the POS closed the damn application. They don't close- they pile on in the background. Damn Alcatel, and DAMN Tracphone !

I had no idea this company even existed until I went into Sprint today. I have the Sprint Slate tablet. It is less than 6 mos old. I hate it & have since day 1. I tried to return it to sprint shortly after I got it. I was told that I would have to pay a $79 restocking fee. I wasn't going to do that so I've had to just deal. A month or so after I got it the screen started cracking & peeling. I have a life proof case on it since I got it & I've never dropped it. I have insurance on it too through Sprint. I took it in when the screen started peeling & was told I would have to pay the $80 deductible. I refuse to put more money into this than what I'm already stuck with. Last night it was at 100% charge. It dropped to 5% in less than 5 minutes. It had been charging fine so I wasn't sure what happened. I had tried from day 1 to find out who the manufacture was so I could call them myself. I had searched long & hard but could not find out who manufactured it & I'm very good at research. It's always been a passionate hobby for me. That was puzzling. I went back into Sprint today. I found out my soon to be ex had stopped paying the bill. Due to this Sprint refused to honor the insurance. I stated that it was still under the manufactures warranty. I was then told that the manufacturer wouldn't honor the warrenty due to the screen peeling. I explained that I hadn't dropped it & that it was another manufacturing defect to no avail. I then asked for the name of the manufacturer & their number. I had never heard of this company before. I'm done with Sprint b/c of this & many other issues. I will also be sticking with Apple products. I know from experience that Apple will work with you in regards to any of their products. They have replaced a few of my IPhone's that were completely out of warrenty for free. In my research last night I found that a class action lawsuit is pending against Sprint. I bought a Sprint phone at a local retailer and had problems from the start. I was unable to get help from the Sprint store and Sprint CS phone center. They referred me to the manufacturer ALCATEL. they referred me to a scam tech number who hacked my computer. I had no idea whom I had called. I thought it was a reputable company that would help me. I called back to speak to the supervisor who affirmed the hack/scam number and was not polite at all. Where can I buy a phone made in the USA with a call center in the USA? It seems that that is the only option if I want to be satisfied with any phone service these days, or just go back to a straight land line!
i have alcatel one touch scribe easy 8000. i dont think tct has good company.. i and my brother has one alcatel phone. my brother have alcatel one touch glory 2s pro.. and both has a problem with camera stop working, and button unlock problem.. my phone also cant read sd card, need to restart when that happen. gallery loading too long, software lagging, become hot when use it..and automatically restart when its temperature are to hot.. already use my warranty to alcatel centre but, same problem.. when i read from inthernet, at gsmarena( http://www.gsmarena.com/alcatel_one_touch_scribe_easy-5332.php ) all of them got same problem.. and also i make a research about latest phone from alcatel ( one touch idol x+ ) octa core processor, 2gb ram.. that sound good phone.. but.. dont judge by its cover.. Unfortunately same problem.. become hot, software lagging.. and act. so .. moral of the story, dont even buy alcatel phone.
SecureHorizons Medicare Direct Retiree Plan/PFFS
Effective 1/1/09 Alcatel-Lucent changed their retiree medical insurance options from United HealthCare, which all of our doctors and hospital accepted; did away with that choice and offered SecureHorizons. We are in June now, and although we have tried to educate our current doctors and specialists, they will not accept us as patients under this plan. The customer service dept. of this plan doesn't seem to care in that they are telling us to drive to Jacksonville, FL, over 1 hour one-way to receive treatment. We have convinced the local Baptist Hospital to accept this card but it was us who had to spend our time to make appts. and go see them in order to convince them to even try this for the first time. We had no choice other than a PPO which is worse than this coverage. I realize that all companies are trying to find ways to cut costs but it should not be the burden of the loyal retirees who have only their retirement checks to live on. We are 65 and 68 respectively and should not be expected to drive this far for medical coverage. We have excellent, competent doctors, specialists etc. in this area and there is no reason whatsoever that we should be forced to go to a city over an hour away for any kind of drs. appointment. SecureHorizons did absolutely nothing in the way of preparing the medical profession of how this program works or assure them it was equivalent to Medicare coverage. They still do not understand it. And to be quite honest, I've just spent a couple of hours trying to even get to the specific site to look at my coverage. And still haven't gotten there.

I brought this phone from The Warehouse Royal Oak June 2021 and after 6hours was already experiencing some difficulties: screen turning off 3-4min before power would come back on. pre-installed browser "Chrome" on gaming sites such as jackpot city would allow me to open 1 game (Specific low graphic games) and run that game almost 2 minutes before
My take on the Secure Horizons Private Fee for Service policy is that it bennefits Lucent and no one else. I am now paying a higher deductable then I would pay with medicare and I am receiving no more for my money. This plan is a major rip-off for the retirees and it is how Lucent is trying to force us to give up our pension bennefits. When medicare is the same as your insurance plan and you are forced to pay for both with no added bennefits and the medical profession has no idea what your insurance is, there is a big problem. Lucent as usual is making sure that the retirees get the short end of the stick.
I was also forced to change to this SecureHorizons option from Lucent. I've been healthy until this Sep. 2009 and went to my Dr. for treatment expecting him to accept the plan. I had submitted his name to the carrier in Feb. 2009 as a needed provider. Account team had promised to get our Dr.'s on board.
Surprise, my Dr. doesn't accept Secure Horizons as most of the specialist he refers to don't accept the coverage and he does not want to make "blind" referrals. Also he says SecureHorizons was dictating a Hospital for inpatient care that he doesn't normally use.
He say SecureHorizons representatives have lied to his patients saying he does accept the plan. I paid for the office visit out of my pocket. Now I need blood work and an X-ray for further evaluation of my illness and NO Doctor.
Thanks Lucent and thanks SecureHorizons - somehow I need to get back to Medicare.
