"I recently engaged in a transaction for a canopy intended for my son’s wedding, which unfortunately was not delivered as promised. Upon raising a dispute, I encountered unprofessional behavior from the seller, including inappropriate and baseless accusations regarding my character. Despite reporting this issue to AliExpress, the resolution offered—a coupon for future purchases—did not align with my request for a refund.

Subsequent communications with AliExpress indicated that a refund was being processed and would be received within 3-5 days. However, this did not transpire as stated. I was then informed that I needed to provide evidence to the dispute team to substantiate the non-delivery claim. Due to FedEx’s policy, which allows only the seller to initiate a dispute requiring an account number, I was unable to file a claim directly. Nevertheless, a FedEx representative, upon understanding the circumstances, granted permission to send me an email confirming that the tracking number associated with my account did not correspond to any delivery made to my address.

This documentation was forwarded to AliExpress, which then proposed a partial refund amounting to half of the original cost. I contested this offer, considering it unjust, especially given the impact on the wedding event. Despite further discussions with AliExpress, I have been advised that additional information is required by the dispute team, and communication on this matter has been delayed until the 16th. I have been assured that my funds are secure and will not be released to the seller; however, the funds remain with AliExpress and not returned to me, causing significant stress and anxiety. The ongoing need to engage in multiple discussions weekly to reclaim my funds has been a source of considerable emotional distress.

Being a household with an average income, I would give someone the shirt off my back if they needed it, as that is the kind thing to do, which makes it disheartening that I have to go through so much to contend with a large corporation for the return of $88.97. The experience with this company has been profoundly upsetting, to the extent of affecting my physical well-being.

Desired outcome: My objective is to secure an immediate refund of $88.97.
