Two recipe fails
Thumbprint cookies, #9618
This was a disaster. The oven setting was way too low. The butter/flour ratio was off. It needed more flour so the cookies didn’t fry in the butter.
The “Amazing” pistachio white chocolate chip recipe was also a disaster. The cookies flattened out so I had to throw them out.
I have wasted money, time, and HUGE disappointment. These cookies were Christmas gifts and now they are going to be late.
Shame on you! Do these recipes not get tested before publishing.
Never again and I will be sharing my experience.
Desired outcome: I will just have to suck this up, I am sure. There is no justice for me.

Your web site is absolutely useless to me. I searched for "cheeseburger casserole" because I found a recipe for that which I tried and did not like. I got 1633 results which included cheeseburger contons, bacon and egg cheeseburgers, many cheeseburger soups, cheeseburger quiche, cheeseburger dip, cheeseburger tacos, air fryer cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburger omelette, cheeseburger tacos and many many more. What good is a search that lists everything but what I ask for? That makes the web site absolutely worthless.

I subscribe to your Allrecipes magazine until August 2023. When i look up recipes on your Allrecipes on line, I get the message that says I can not print the recipe because I do not have the authority to go into it.
Please let me know what I need to know to get into Allspices on line. I do not have a password, or anything else.

What is going on with the website!? I can't access saved recipes. Every time Allrecipes decides to "Improve" the site, more idiotic glitches occur. As it is now, the website is absolutely useless.

I'm terrible at math. I contacted customer service once and they showed me how to do it. But, now they don't have this service any longer.

Have not received any magazine or free cookbooks
On 10-11-2021, I sent my check #3164 for the discount price of $6.00. It has been cashed and deducted from my account. I did receive an acknowledgement, but, I have not yet received the magazine or the 2 free cookbooks. Now, I have also received another subscription order form. What gives?
Ok, the submit page says I have to use 350ch. Why does it matter the length of the letter. Don't you respond to all complaints?

Non Delivery of my All Receipes Magazine
This is the third time I've contacted your company to get my ALL-Recipes Magazine delivered. The first 2 were by phone and I was assured both times the magazine would be delivered, and my subscription extended for the missing months. My account number is [protected]. I changed my address for the magazine the end of July and have not received a magazine since June. What do I have to do to get the magazine delivered? Today I called your customer service line again. Twice to be exact and after 20 minutes on hold both times I gave up. Your company's professionalism and customer support is lacking in every aspect.
your recipes website
I like that your allrecipes website has so many recipes, but every time I do on the website to look for recipes the website freezes my computer in about 10 minutes. I can't use my computer until I manage to delete your website. It has been a problem for years and it makes me sad because I can usually find a recipe that I want to try, but can't stay on the website since it always messes up my computer. It is the only website I visit that has this effect.

Ingredients
I have noticed that in many of your recipes you suggest using pre-packaged items like soup mixes and other ingredients which make cooking easier. This was the style of cooking from my grandmother's generation. I am now 68 years old and cooking has evolved from those days. We no longer use canned goods, if possible, but natural ingredients and cook from scratch. This other style of cooking is antiquated and unhealthy, as many of the ingredients have way too much salt content, or sugar content. Nobody cooks anymore with cake mixes which are loaded with sugar or other mixtures which have too many calories.
Many of your recipes are great and I have tried them. I suggest that you minimize the recipes offered which have these pre-packaged products.

Magazine not received
I subscribed to Allrecipes on April 8. Was supposed to get magazine along with 2 bonus cookbooks. I haven't received anything!

I have sent 10+ emails. I have called. I have left messages. I have never been so frustrated with a company. I am no longer receiving the emails that I used to receive from Allrecipes. The emails have several recipes and I used to receive one a day. I bought 2 magazine subscriptions (one for myself and one as a gift). When I made that purchase, I began receiving unwanted emails from the magazine company with offers for additional magazines. I do NOT want any more magazines! So I unsubscribed from the MAGAZINE company's emails. When I did that I stopped receiving the emails that I used to get with recipes for Allrecipes. I JUST WANT TO GET THE EMAILS THAT I USED TO GET! HOW DO I GET THROUGH TO YOUR COMPANY? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

As above, continual (several times a day) pop up recipe suggestions and no way of cancelling something I wasn't aware of asking for in the first place. The website offers no way of unsubscribing. I am aware others have also made this complaint. I am not clear why I am being sent these recipes . I have occasionally visited the All Recipes website to browse recipes without encountering any problem. I am not aware of being provided with information that I would be constantly sent suggestions which I never requested.
allrecipes pro customer support
I have requested through customer support email that my allrecipes pro account be terminated. The website has no possible way for me to cancel my pro subscription on line. The reference phone number on my credit card bill is the incorrect number to call to cancel. I finally decided to try and cancel through the customer service email provided on the website.
My first request by email to [protected]@allrecipes.com was on October 20 and second request Nov 6. I am not getting a response.
I am suffering through the same scenario. I received an automatic re-bill notice on 30 November 2018. I keep e-mailing them and here is what I get:
You have reached the print edition. We have sent your information to the Allrecipes Pro to get them to cancel.
If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. To ensure your future concerns are handled in a timely fashion, please include all previous e-mail correspondence.
This has been going on since 30 November.
this is my 4th attempt to cancel my subscription
due to their disregard for my consistent attempt to cancel my subscription, i have recently emailed the BBB. I don't know what else to do. I have tried for months to cancel my subscription to allrecipes: the form online never goes thru when i hit send: the form online keeps asking me to 'fill out all boxes', when i have already done so: I have written a letter to allrecipes magazine a few months ago asking for cancellation and they have never responded; i cannot reset my password online, that doesn't seem to work either. I hope the BBB helps me out. I DON'T WANT THE MAGAZINE!
no mechanism to cancel subscription
I called AllRecipes and left messages twice and did not receive a callback, and I emailed [protected]@cdsfulfillment.com and attempted to follow the instructions to cancel my subscription only to discover there is no mechanism to do so (see screenshots below). There appears to be no mechanism to cancel my subscription on the website even though AllRecipes claims it allows members to cancel subscriptions. Moreover, like other companies (sorry to say) AllRecipes does not issue notifications prior to auto-subscribe.
they care nothing about their customers
This website is getting worse and worse every single day.
Recently they changed something again and now it's impossible to read recipes while cooking. It's very uncomfortable. Not that long ago when they changed their format everyone was angry at them, but we got used to it. However, the website management didn't stop improving (as they thought, probably) and kept doing crap despite users' complaints and dissatisfaction.

Not happy.. these were family recipes and it took a very long time to enter them on to your website. Did you send an email to your customers to advise they were going to be deleted? (if they have been)... Please help me to recover these recipes.. I've been a long time customer of BHG magazines.. very disappointed. HELP!
regarding the update
Never thought I would ever complain about them. I have bee with them for years and been actually satisfied with everything. But after the update, many things have changed and it's now everything is completely different and inconvenient. Many people would agree with me.
New things are not always for the best, guys. Sometimes the old good things have to left s they are without changing. Nobody will die.
Difficult to use
I loved Allrecipes and used this site in the past. It was very easy to work with and there was lots of useful information there.
Then they made some changes and now it is very difficult to use Allrecipes. It is very hard to find anything there, site now is full of all kinds of adds and everything works very slow! It takes about 15 sec to load the page!
I'm out of here! Allrecipes does not think about their users at all!

It was such a lovely website in the past, but they made some changes and made it worst. I don't like the new format and I'm very disappointed. This website was ease to use, but now it's harder to read and find things you need. It is now difficult to get recipes out of my recipe box! And where all the reviews are? I can't even read them anymore. I will not be renewing my subscription. All my favorite recipes were in my box, but now I can't read them! I used this site for many years and was very satisfied with it! I'm so disappointed they are nothing thinking about their clients at all. It's a real headache! Maybe someday I will use it again but not until they fix everything.
I did not order anything just looking.
I was looking at items on allrecipes.com website and I got $12.00 bill for a 12 month membership today. All I need to do is send the 12 dollars in and they will take it out of my checking account. But if I am not happy I can cancel any time in the first year and get my money back and get a full refund. But I did not order anything just looking. What can I do now?
