This uni hasn't provided certificates or details about the exam
I have attended the course in Almeda University and it was disaster. I didn’t get the certificate and no one told me if I have passed the exams. I was surprised that the secretary knew nothing about it, because I have called him and sent emails. I think that this university scam their students, because they got what they wanted and they didn’t think a lot about anything else.
Almeda University is a Scam: Steer Clear of it!
These guys from Almeda University – the so-called “American University” are a big scam in the name of online education and have been ripping people off their hard earned money through their fake degrees that are worth nothing.
I had submitted my profile and experience to them in case they could help me out with the degree program, and subsequently my career progression. But at the end, what I realized was that the degree they gave me was a sheer rip off.
I was provoked by their pop ups and emails and pop ups that they had placed upon various sites. I was astrayed by their apparently decent looking site, and their “premium/ exclusive” offers that appeared to me pretty cheap, but I never knew that what they were selling to me could cost me a life.
I have been humiliated by my employer, my colleagues and several others. I fail to understand why these fake institutions exist in the first case.

They have been stealing from people for years s d it needs to stop.
The latest scam is an email from Melissa asking for 1750$ to have an Almeda degree validated with the State Education Department as the university is now 'closed" or that it no longer exists.
Here is a copy of the email I received.A big scam if ever there was one.

Dear Michael Rossouw,
This is Melissa with USDLAC– we are a regulatory body for private school, colleges and Universities offering distance learning and online education in USA.
We are contacting you because you obtained a Degree online from Almeda University Online with Student ID AMUO-[protected] and the University provided you an unaccredited Degree which means you cannot use the degree in your nationally or internationally until the degree is validated or equalized by State Approved accredited University.
The University no longer exists in the list of USDLAC nor even in the US Dept of Education so you need to equalize the Degree using USDLAC score point mechanism and obtain an accredited Degree provided by one of the accredited Universities that will transfer credits from your previous credentials.
Failing to comply with equalization of documents may result in reporting of your profile to relevant authorities so the benefits like employment, pay raise or any other kind of reward shall immediately cease as the diploma is no longer valid.
Reply immediately as the diploma needs to be validated within 72 hours of the receipt of this email. The fee to validate the diploma is $1, 750 after which your new credentials will be sent to you at your mailing address.
You can start the process by paying an equalization fee of $1, 750 and receive the following.
1) Accredited University Degree duly attested by US Dept of State
2) Letter of Credit Transfers and Equalization
3) Name in the national student database as verified student so you don't have to face the problem ever again.
Using an unaccredited diploma is an offence punishable by law and up to several years of imprisonment.
Thanks
Melissa Jones

Almeda University- A fake organization of kleptomaniacs
I was looking for a degree that could actually help me out with the career. I came down to the site of Almeda University where a woman by the name of Lucia Martin instantaneously appeared on the live chat. She told me that I could earn a degree in a week, if only I paid her $3500 through my visa card.
I was skeptic initially, but attracted by the fact that the degree could offer me a great prospect, I bought the degree. It was only then when I realized that what I did was one of the most things I could have done. I received the “degree” within a few weeks.
I wanted to get myself refunded for the money that I had paid, but the student counselor told me that I had crossed the deadline and there was no possibility of getting my money back.
Now I want my money back and seek for every possible help in this regard – even if that means closing off the operations of this fake institution permanently.

Almeda College is a Fake Degree Mill!
A gang of swindlers have reappeared on the scene calling itself a degree granting institution, whereas in fact it is a fake institution that has been ripping of people in the name of life experience degrees. I pursued them a couple of months to help me with the life experience degree program, but in turn what they gave me off was a piece of worthless paper with my name embedded on it.
I wanted to sue them in the American court, but I did not have the location from which the institution originated and thus I felt as if I had been prosecuted for life from my friends, family and my employer. It seemed that I had been thrown into the abyss without even being warned about it.
In case anyone confronts a diploma mill of any sorts, please avoid it at all costs.
Almeda calls graduates back years after recieving a diploma and demands money or they will not verify diploma.
Almeda University: Rip Off Life Experience Degrees
Beware of Almeda University’s Online Life Experience Degrees. They are a scam!
The fake degrees from Almeda University can end you in trouble wherever you are. Actually I was sneaking for an online degree from an accredited university. However, since I was in a hurry, I could not research on the internet to ultimately discover that the “university” was a disappointment in the name of online degrees.
Not only did they end up giving me a fake degree, they also charged me an exorbitant price for their “services”. When I asked for a refund, they turned it down and said that it is not possible to give back all the money.
I am really frustrated at this institute and seek for justice from those who are responsible. I am out of money now, and really want someone to help me out!

Diploma Mill Scam
In what happens to be the biggest ‘education’ scams online, it has been revealed that a fake entity by the name of Almeda University has been fleecing gullible Americans for degrees that is worth nothing but a worthless piece of paper!
Sources reveal that the university operates from an unknown source that has been a conglomerate of the online degree scam operating online. The university blatantly sells fake online degrees in the name of “life experience degrees”.
Almeda University is also known to have been selling degrees – I repeat SELLING it! You can customize your degree options, the program and other variables for some specific amount of money with no regards to credit hours or the knowledge a person is known to possess.
The worst part – the university to have been making $100 million from the United States alone! That’s different from those scams that are a part of this entire scam.
The worst part is that they continue to do so without any regard to the damage they are causing to the economy. It is high time that one reacts against such s scheme and bust those who are involved in this scam.
United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA);[20] posted on the Michigan list, but website does not claim to provide accreditation
And there are many more state listings.
Each showing they do not claim to provide accreditation.!
SCAMMERS.
Almeda University is a fake online University.
