Because of all the complaints and bad reports, I decided to cancel my memberships and asked for a full refund of the money they charged me. But I haven't heard back from them since their last email on June 10. It seems like they're not taking my situation seriously.

And to top it all off, they're selling me insurance outside of my state. Now I'm having a tough time getting discharged from the hospital. I feel like they tricked me and took my hard-earned money for nothing.

I called this company to get health insurance. They told me it was health insurance, but later I found out it ain't. I called American Consumer Excellence on XX-X-XXXX and talked to ***. I wanted to buy health insurance and she said that's what I was getting. But turns out, it's not what I got. It's just a discount thing, not health insurance. I paid $414.00 for premium and enrollment fee.

They didn't mention that I needed to cancel separately with ACE, so I've been getting charged every month on my Discover card *** for the last three months! I bought insurance at the end of March to start on April 1. I've had the insurance for a while now and used it in May. However, I recently discovered that they are not paying for and denying claims that were pre-approved. The mammogram facility confirmed that the mammo was pre-approved, and I personally spoke with them as well. But now, they are denying it. All insurance companies are supposed to cover a yearly mammogram, but they haven't paid Quest, and my doctor's office was supposed to bill me, but I haven't heard from them since July. It's embarrassing to even bring this up with them. I'm starting to think this might be a scam. I just want my money back. I've already disputed all the charges on my credit card, but my emails and phone messages have been ignored.

After I reviewed the policy, I read the 50 pages and I was not happy with it. I called to cancel the policy on Dec 8, 2020 after they took out $233.95 out of my checkin account (that was after they took $388.95 on Nov 8th! I was told that was for an application fee and $155. Was no refund would be available on the $155. So when I called to cancel on Nov 8th I went through the cancellation process and I called today Dec 15, 2020 and was told that I never canceled the policy, I had my phone on speaker so I had a witness. They refused to refund the the first $233.95 but said they would refund the second $233.95 and that is not what I was told when I spoke to them on the 8th of December, the policy was not to take effect until Jan 1, 2021! The payments were not to start comin out until Jan 5! This company needs to be shut down, they lied to me and god knows how many others they have taken advantage of.

Mr. *** told me it would cost $302 per month to cover medical, dental, and vision. He said there wouldn't be any deductible or copay, and if I got sick on a work day, the insurance would compensate me for the time I missed. He mentioned that I needed to pay a one-time fee of $456 for paperwork, which he said was normal. Mr. *** informed me that my insurance would be with AETNA and that I could keep my primary care physician. The AETNA coverage was supposed to start in January 2022. However, in January 2022, I received a letter from a company called Bright Health, which I had never heard of, stating that they were my insurance provider and that my deductible was $7,000. I tried calling the agent three times, but he never answered. When I tried to reach his supervisor, they refused to connect the call. The colleagues I spoke to said they wouldn't refund my money even though they gave me the wrong insurance. I want a refund because I was sold the incorrect insurance.
