American Swiss review: Ear piercings

I took my 3 year old daughter to have her ears pierced to American Swiss Grove Mall in Windhoek on Friday, 5 April.

I personally marked both ears woth the marker the sales lady gave me.

My daughter say down on her dad's lap and two ladies stood either side each woth a piercing gun to her ears. My daughter sat completely still and didn't even cry till after the piercings was done.

Once the piercings were done I took my daughter in my arms and noticed the her left ear was pierced completely skew-not a little off centre, but skew.

It looks as if the piercing gun was held in a downward trajectory in stead of a level trajectory. Had the gun been any more skew they would have missed the earlobe completely as there is only about a millimeter of lobe beneath the piercing.

The earring is now so low that the butterfly shows underneath the earring.

I was advised that we cannot remove said earring now as it will do damage to my daughters ear. But I cannot leave her with this botched ear and have her have this permanent mistake on her body.
