The begin of October we lay-bye two wedding rings which was a male ring and a female ring and on the 24th or the 25th of October 2024 my soon to be husband went to American Swiss in KC in Lansdowne to make a payment on the lay-by and one of the cashiers that works there she made a payment of R400 on an account instead of a lay-by so initially we lost the R400 and they couldn't retrieve the money to put it back on the lay-by, and our wedding date was for the 2 November 2024, My husband Bevan, went to see the store manager and she asked him for his ID and till slips so that she can query the problem that went wrong, and to top it all we couldn't get both rings we had to leave one ring (male) behind, in the week of my wedding they said it will be sorted out but when it came to Friday nothing had been sorted out, and I was so PISSED, The manager said that Head Office couldn't find the problem so they couldn't help us and since then he went to the store more than 3 times and the Store Manager keep saying that they going to escalate the problem and still today nothing has been done. Today 12 November 2024 my husband went into store again and it was told to him that the issue would be resolved in 14 days hence I waited already long for this issue to be resolved and to have a wedding with only one ring I think it was so unnecessary and upsetting.
You would think a company with your reputation would have resolved this issue much faster till today 17 days since the incident I have to wait another 14 days which is unacceptable.
Desired outcome: i would like to have my husbands ring back what he took, or the money back with interest, even better, I WANT BOTH and compensate us with petrol money aswell driving up and down
