Amiclubwear Review: Cheap Clothes & Shoes, but Be Prepared to Stay on Top of Them
I gotta be real with y'all. I ordered from amiclubwear last year and like a lot of y'all, I was super hyped to find some cute clothes for a decent price. But then I started seeing all these bad reviews and I got scared. I wanted to cancel my order, but I decided to give them a chance. Well, it took almost two weeks for me to get any info on my order and I had to call them to get it. They told me it had already shipped, but I wasn't so sure. I demanded they give me the shipping number and finally got my package a week later. I ordered two dresses and one of them ripped as soon as I put it on, but the other one was fine.
Fast forward to now, I decided to order shoes from them again. Same deal as last time, no shipping info until I called. I got the shoes about 10 days later and some of them look super cheap, but others are great. The problem is that none of them are true to size. They're all about a size too small. I ordered 13 pairs (I sell shoes) and only got 12, but they refunded me for 3 pairs.
So, my advice is to take a chance on amiclubwear if you want, but be prepared to stay on top of them. If you don't get any shipping info in a few days, call them up. This isn't like Forever 21 or Love Culture, it's a cheap store where you get what you pay for. Sometimes you'll get a great deal, sometimes you'll get screwed. Hope this helps!

When I called the company, they told me they'd have to look into it to confirm that the swimsuit wasn't in the package (basically telling me that they'd have to prove I wasn't lying to them). I explained that I wanted a full refund for the bathing suit I didn't receive, and they refused.
I called over 5 more times, all on different days, and talked to someone and their managers again, only to be told they wouldn't refund me. I tried to explain how they were basically stealing from me since I paid for something that was not given to me. They said I was in the wrong. They FINALLY refunded me once I made a claim with PayPal, who withheld the funds from them until it was resolved.
The worst part is my sister-in-law, who I showed the swimsuit to, loved it as well. She bought it and had the same problem! They gave her the go-around and didn't refund her money. I will never do business with this horrible company again. Don't waste your time and money!
AMIClubwear Review: Terrible Customer Service and Non-Refundable Items
I gotta say, I'm usually pretty chill when it comes to bad customer service and returns taking forever, but AMIClubwear takes the cake. I ordered a bunch of bathing suits (according to their size charts) months ago before a vacation, and let me tell you, it was a disaster. Not only were the sizes completely off, but I couldn't even get them on! I'm 5'7" and 140lbs, pretty average for my height, but nothing fit. And to top it off, one of the tops didn't even open to put on. It was one of those "pull over" types, but nothing was able to be pulled over.
I've emailed them so many times, and they've received all the items back, but with the exchange rate, I'm out a pretty penny. They keep telling me that the items are non-refundable and won't even be accepted without a return number on them. It's been a couple of months now, and they're still jerking me around, telling me that because I didn't have the number on the package, it will take longer for them to get to it. But when it is processed, they'll notify me. Yeah, right.
So I finally follow up with them again about the return and refund, and they tell me that because the items were returned without being authorized, the package will be abandoned and refused. If I want to receive the package back, I have to pay $44.80 to retrieve it. And if I don't want to pay, the package will be abandoned, and no credit will be issued. Are you kidding me? I'm not paying another $50 to have them shipped back to me when they're unusable!
Long story short, don't buy from them. Period. It's a lot of money they stole from me, and I'm fully prepared to take legal action against them. Luckily for me, I work in the legal field and know all my rights and have connections to deal with crooks like them.
So, if you're looking for something to wear, look anywhere but there. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.

However, I did have a bit of a problem with one of my recent purchases. I bought a wall fan and it arrived on 6/28/16. Unfortunately, when my family tried to use it a few days later, it didn't work properly and ended up burning out. We had an electrician check it and they told us that it was a defective fan with a bad motor.
We tried to contact AMIClubwear to see if we could exchange the fan, but their phone lines were always busy and it was really hard to get through to someone. I felt like the customer service representatives we spoke to didn't really know what they were doing and were giving us conflicting information.
In the end, we decided that it wasn't worth the hassle and expense to try to exchange the fan, so we just kept it. However, I was really disappointed with the way that AMIClubwear handled this situation. I ordered two items from Amiclubwear.com on a Saturday, November 30, 2013. I was in a hurry to get them, so I paid extra for 2nd Day Air shipping. I got an email right away confirming my purchase, but on Monday, December 2, 2013, I got another email saying that one of the items needed more processing time and that my order wouldn't ship for 3-4 business days. I was confused because I didn't see anything about this when I made the purchase, but I decided to cancel my order.
I tried calling Amiclubwear.com on Tuesday, December 3, 2013, but I was put on hold for at least 5 minutes each time and never got to speak to anyone. I sent an email instead, but I didn't get a response. The same thing happened on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, when I called at least 7 times and was hung up on after being on hold for 6-7 minutes. I sent another email, but still no response.
I'm really disappointed with Amiclubwear.com's customer service. It's frustrating that they don't answer their phones or respond to emails. I'm worried that they might be a fraudulent company because of their bad business practices. I was extremely frustrated and decided to call them back again.
I have been on hold for quite some time now, and I have full bars on my phone. However, I keep getting disconnected due to "technical difficulties." This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and I would never recommend this site to anyone.
Ami Clubwear/Urban Original Scam: Beware of Poor Quality and Customer Service
I recently made my first purchase from Amiclubwear and boy was I in for a surprise. I ordered a pair of size 8 shoes, but when they arrived, I received a left size 8 and a right size 7 or 7.5. My foot simply would not fit into the right shoe. The sticker on the shoes said they were both size 8, but mother nature does not lie. I thought it was an innocent mistake and requested an RMA # to return the pair. However, I had to pay $8 to return a pair of $13 shoes. Two weeks later, I emailed to see if they had received the shoes, but the staff kept saying they had not processed them yet. Then, out of nowhere, I received the shoes back with a sticker on the box saying "REFUSED, BOX DAMAGED, CANNOT BE RESOLD". I couldn't believe it! The box had been crumpled up and torn apart in some places. It was obvious they had opened the box and decided they didn't have the shoe in stock anymore, then refused to accept the return. The box was in perfectly fine condition when I mailed it, and nowhere on their return policy does it state that a box must be in pristine condition.
On top of that, since when can a store not accept a return because a box is crumpled? As if they have exactly one box for each pair of shoes? Even if the box had been gleaming, it would have postage stamps all over it, so this was no less than a bull st excuse. I called Ami Clubwear three times in the past hour, and after a 15-minute wait, the staff member listened to me explain my issue calmly and then hung up on me. Three times! The second time around, I thought the call had dropped, but after the third time, I realized she was hanging up on me.
To make matters worse, I have realized that Ami Clubwear is a scam because if you try calling their number from the same phone more than twice, the operator tells you that your call cannot be completed as dialed. Somehow, they have set it up so that you cannot call them more than twice. Try it and hear for yourself. It didn't occur to me until today, when I realized the same thing happened the last time my calls were getting "dropped". I will never order from this site again. I should have searched for reviews before ordering, not now, after wasting $20 and having nothing to show for it. Ladies, it is not worth it to risk spending $10 and end up spending $20 for thin air. That's what Vegas is for. From now on, I will review online sites before ordering and likely order only name brand items.
Another warning*** after this sour experience, I was thinking to myself "at least I still have one source of affordable, cute shoes online- Urban Original (urbanog.com)". BUT ladies, as I was searching on Google for reviews, I saw the address for Ami Clubwear (City of Industry, CA) and clicked to see the reviews. Only to find reviews for Urban Original. That's when I read the "About Us" section of both sites and realized they were the same company! What a scam! I dare you to read the "about us" section of both sites; they both list "7 reasons to shop at Ami Clubwear/Urban Original" and they are exactly the same list!
PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL ordering from these sites. I have never reviewed a site before, but I am so irate that I can't let this happen to other people. I have attached pictures of my package, which I received about 1.5 hours ago now, and I'm still in shock. They damaged the box to claim that was the reason for return, but if they couldn't accept damaged boxes, why bother opening to see what was inside? Please be careful, people.

This website is not the best, to say the least. I was really excited to find a pair of boots that I liked and that were affordable, but when I went to order them, I was told to call in and speak to a representative. I was on hold for 20 minutes before I finally got through, only to be told that the boots were out of stock. The representative didn't even ask me which boots I was referring to! I tried to find another pair of boots online, but everything I liked was out of stock.
The next day, I decided to give it another shot, even though my fiancée warned me that the site seemed sketchy. I found another pair of boots that I liked and that were in stock, but when I went to check out, the shipping was $20! I decided to find a few more pairs of shoes to make the shipping worth it, but when I received my order, one pair didn't fit. I followed the instructions on the return paper they sent me, which said to call in and let them know which product I wanted to exchange. I was on hold for another 20 minutes before a representative told me that they no longer honor that offer.
The return paper also had a section where I could write down which product I wanted them to reship once they received my return, with no extra shipping charges. I filled it out and waited for my replacement order, but it never came. Instead, I received an email saying that I had a credit and to reference a number when I placed my next order. I was really unhappy at this point, but I decided to go online and order the replacement myself. One of the pairs I wanted was out of stock, even though it had been in stock when I filled out the return paper. I called the company again and was on hold for 20 minutes before a representative told me that the shoes were out of stock. I knew this was a lie because the shoes were still showing as in stock online. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but was told there was no supervisor on duty.
To make matters worse, the quality of the shoes I received was really poor. One pair was so poorly made that I have to wear two pairs of socks on one foot to make it fit, and the other pair doesn't fit my leg properly.
Overall, I would not recommend this website. The shipping is expensive, the customer service is terrible, and the quality of the products is poor. Buyer beware!

I explained to her that I needed the items by Saturday and asked for a refund. She put me on hold for a few minutes and then came back to tell me that the items had actually shipped out. I was a little skeptical since I had read some negative reviews about AMIClubwear and learned that they had an F rating on the BBB. So, I asked for the tracking number, and she provided me with one.
Fast forward to today, and I received an email saying that my order was only partially shipped. To make matters worse, the shoes that I had ordered weren't shipped out at all, which was the whole reason I had ordered from them in the first place. AMIClubwear Review: Scammers Who Don't Care About Customers
So, I gotta tell you guys about my experience with AMIClubwear. I ordered two dresses for my friends as a Christmas gift back in December of 2015. I even paid extra for fast shipping to make sure it arrived before Christmas. But guess what? It didn't come until a week after Christmas! And to make matters worse, there was only one dress in the package! Can you believe it?
I was so annoyed and frustrated by this point. The dress that did arrive was wrapped so horribly, it was rolled up and taped with a bunch of bubble wrap. I looked at the email they sent me and it said that anything backordered would be sent separately. So, I waited patiently for the other dress to arrive. I had ordered silver pleated ballet flats with a bow, but instead they sent me silver sequined flats. I was a little disappointed, but at least the wrong pair they sent me were pretty and fit me.
I recently made my fourth purchase, so I'm still waiting to see if there are any issues with that order.
My biggest complaint about AMIClubwear is the shipping fee. $10 to ship a pair of shoes is ridiculous, in my opinion. While it's nice that the shipping is fast - my orders have always arrived within a few days - I would rather pay a little less and wait a little longer for my items to arrive. Unfortunately, they don't offer any cheaper shipping options.
Another issue I've had with the site is that they often run out of popular sizes, like smalls for clothes and sizes 6, 6.5, and 7 for shoes. As someone who wears those sizes, it's frustrating when I find something I like but it's not available in my size.

AMI Clubwear Review: Poor Customer Service and Hidden Fees
AMI Clubwear is a website that offers free shipping if you spend over $50. I was excited to take advantage of this offer and had a little over $60 in my cart. I entered the free shipping code and it went through saying I had free shipping. When I hit "confirm", I received a confirmation email saying I had only spent $48.94, and I was charged $22.37 for shipping on top of that. I noticed one of the items I had in my cart was not on this confirmation. I immediately contacted AMI Clubwear and they said they could not cancel the order but they would put in a request for me to talk to a supervisor.
But that's not all, when I received my items, one of the items was wrong (shoes) so I requested an exchange, and AMI Clubwear agreed to exchange for the right item and refund my shipping. I sent the original shoe box unharmed in another shoe box (why would I want to pay for a box when they messed up), and AMI Clubwear sent the package back without opening it because they thought the original box was damaged and I did not end up getting my money back for shipping or I didn't get the right item. They do not state that the item will be refused if sent in a shoe box, it obviously made it fine to their warehouse but they did not bother to open the package.
I have called customer service well over 10 times, each time requesting a supervisor, and it has now been 6 weeks since I made a complaint and I still have not heard from them. One of the customer service ladies even hung up on me once. It's been such a hassle for me and I wouldn't want it to happen to anyone else. It would have been an even bigger hassle if my bank account only had enough for $60, because I ended up being charged $75 and it could have caused an overdraft and then a $30 fee from my bank which I'm sure AMI Clubwear would not pay for.
It's a shame because AMI Clubwear may have cute clothes for dirt cheap, but you get what you pay for and they obviously do not invest in their customer service or quality. I hope they can improve their service in the future because it's not fair to their customers to be treated this way.

I've been shopping at AMIClubwear for a few years now and overall, I've had a pretty good experience. The clothes and shoes are super cute and the quality is usually great. Even their own brand of shoes are well made and always look just like the pictures.

The only downside is that shipping can be a bit pricey. The only way to get free shipping is by spending a certain amount and then applying a coupon code. But sometimes, using a coupon code means you can't get free shipping, so you end up paying for shipping anyway.
Another issue I've had is with the packaging. Sometimes everything is packaged nicely in a cardboard box, but other times, a box of shoes is just thrown into a thin plastic mailing envelope, which can result in the box getting destroyed during shipping.
The timing to process and ship an order can also be inconsistent. Sometimes orders ship the same or next day, but other times it can take up to 6 or 7 days to ship.
Returns are processed relatively quickly, but you are responsible for return shipping. And unfortunately, you won't get a refund to your original form of payment. All returns are processed as store credit only.
One thing to keep in mind is that AMIClubwear sells multiple brands, so sizes can be inconsistent. You might be a size 9 in one shoe, but need a size 10 in another.
Overall, I would recommend shopping at AMIClubwear for their cute clothes and great sales. Just be aware of the shipping costs and inconsistent sizing.

If I had known earlier, I would have cancelled my order because the shipping fee wasn't worth it for just one item. And to make matters worse, they only refunded me $1 for the shipping, which is ridiculous considering I only received a $5 hat instead of the items I actually wanted.
I tried to reach out to their customer service team to complain, but they either didn't respond or gave me useless information. It was really frustrating, but I decided to give them another chance because their prices are seriously cheap.
The third purchase I made was shipped normally, but they sent me the wrong color. It's not a huge deal since I can return it, but it's still annoying. The fourth and fifth purchases were finally problem-free, but the sizing was all over the place. I ordered three pairs of boots in size 8, but two of them felt like a size 7 and one felt like an 8.5. Double Charged and No Response from Customer Service: My Disappointing Experience with AMIClubwear
I recently made a purchase on AMIClubwear's website for a costume and some gloves. I needed the costume for an event in two weeks, so I thought I had plenty of time to receive it. I placed my order on October 15, 2017, and since the website stated that they would ship within a few days, I assumed I would receive it in time. However, the next day, I checked my email for a confirmation code, but I didn't receive one. I also checked my bank account to see if the order had been processed, but it hadn't. I assumed that the order didn't go through, so I placed the same order again on the same day.
To my surprise, on October 17, 2017, I received two confirmation numbers and two different money transactions from AMIClubwear. I was charged twice for the same order, which would have cost me $90 if they had done their job correctly. Now, I have to pay $180+ for the same order. I have tried to contact their customer service through email and phone, but I have not received any response. I have sent them a total of 8 emails and have been on hold for 15 minutes twice a day since the 17th, but no one has answered my calls.
I am extremely disappointed with their service. All I asked for was to cancel one of the two orders since the costumes are final sale, and I cannot return them once they are delivered. I have read other reviews, and I am afraid that I will not receive either of the costumes in time for my event. I feel like I have wasted $180 on a company that does not care about its customers.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience shopping at AMIClubwear. The only reason I even bothered to buy from them again was because I had some store credit left over from a return. If it weren't for that, I would have never even considered shopping there again.
So, I ordered a Halloween costume from them back in October, and I had to wait a whole two weeks just to find out that it was sold out. Not a great start. But, I decided to give them another chance and ordered six items. After a week, I only received one item. Then, another week passed by and I received one more item. At this point, I was getting pretty irritated. Why was my order taking so long to process? Why hadn't they contacted me to let me know what was going on?
I decided to give them a call and after waiting on hold for what felt like an eternity (20 minutes, to be exact), I finally got through to a customer service representative. Let me tell you, this lady seemed like she had a million things going on in her head at once. It took her forever to give me the information I needed. Turns out, the other four items I ordered were out of stock. Great.
But wait, it gets worse. Not only did they charge the full amount to my PayPal account (even though I left my reference number for the store credit like they asked in the comments section of my order), but I had to email them after waiting three days after submitting my order to see why I was charged the full amount. They didn't even process my store credit until I called them (and waited on hold for 15 minutes!). And then, after waiting two weeks to receive my order, nobody bothered to contact me to let me know that my items were out of stock. I had to call them to find out what was going on. And to top it all off, when they refunded me, they refunded me the wrong amount. Now, I have to wait 3-4 weeks to receive a check instead of just having it refunded back into my PayPal account.
Honestly, this was the worst shopping experience I've ever had. The customer service was practically non-existent, and while the prices were good, I'd rather spend a little extra money at other stores than deal with this kind of mess again. So, if you're thinking about shopping at AMIClubwear, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away.

I have been contacting ambiclubwear for two weeks straight ever since I never received my second package of tights that I ordered. I’ve sent several emails and called several times. Nobody has gotten back to me. I am very dissatisfied with my costume. Not only did I pay extra for it to come two days early and it came late. It does not fit nor does it look identical to what was displayed. I also never received my second package to get my tights. I had to buy a whole different costume elsewhere. Very upset. I would like a refund.

The boots that i received are damaged in multiple places. I have been sending emails requesting a Return Authorization Number (RMA number).7 + emails since April 23.

I ordered 9 items from ami clubwear feb 3,2022 I received an email saying it arrived via ups at my porch feb 14, 2022. Unlike amazon there's no pictures, nothing showing the package was at my porch. I asked my neighbors and the front office about the package... No one has seen the package. I called ami clubwear and was told I need to file a claim through ups. I filed the claim as told and ups explained to me the claim was settled a refund was sent to ami clubwear. I have called this company well over 30 times, sent 12 emails left 9 voicemails.. 2 of those voicemails being urgent! Still no call back, this company doesnt answer! I just want my refund.

I order a halloween outfit this year from amiclubwear and I never received it although it said it was delievered. I called their customer service line multiple times and could not get through with anyone. I also emailed them and after a couple weeks I got some type of response saying that my order could not be dropped off so they sent it back to the warehouse. So I never got my Halloween outfit and since Halloween passed I decided I just wanted a store credit. With that store credit I ordered a rave outfit for a festival that is coming up. I wanted to cancel my order as soon as I placed it. This was on a Sunday. I looked up how to cancel an order and it said cancellations could only be made through a call, and they only accept calls Monday through Friday. So I waited until Monday and called first thing. I even called during the hours they suggested. Every time, I got disconnected with an automated message saying that they were too busy and could not take my call, this happened after 16 minutes. I called five times.
I decided to try emailing even though it said not to on the site, and they sent me an email saying that it was already in processing so it couldn't be canceled. I believe processing is the first damn step. I called again to see if they could tell me something different on the phone, but they just kept telling me that once it was sent to processing that there was nothing they could do. I made sure to buy things that didn't have the "FINAL SALE" in red during checkout so I could return things, but when I read the fine print it said they could not accept returns on clearance items or items under like $12 or something like that. I am very frustrated and disappointed. I don't like to be the person who complains or gives the customer service rep a hard time because I've been there, but I really just want this cancelled!

They back ordered 4 items out of 6 and gave me no dates when exactly I could expect them. 2 items arrived one month after I ordered them. Speaking of the other 4, I have no idea what's going on to them and where they are now. It's very hard to say. Customer service is absolutely useless, they have no tracking numbers (why?), but they claim that all of my items are ready for shipping, however, they'll be sent separately :( It means no one knows when exactly they will arrive, it depends on nothing at all.
