Thanksgiving $10 Rebate offer on Michelob Ultra. The rebate says if you purchase (2) 12 pks of Michelob Ultra or LARGER you receive a $10 rebate. Since Anheuser-Busch does not offer or sell Michelob Ultra in any size bigger than a case of (24) how else was I suppose to purchase anything larger!? So I made a purchase of a 24 pk of Michelob Ultra, sent in the UPC and sales receipt, tracking and the rebate was not honored based on required products were not submitted. I called customer service and was rudely told I could not get the rebate because I did not purchase enough beer to get the rebate. I did purchase enough! I bought a case of (24) that equates to (2) 12 pks. I have a picture of the rebate offer from the supermarket I made the purchase from and it clearly shows a (12) pk or a case of (24). I asked to be transferred to the USA to speak to an American speaking representative and was hung up on. So I then called numerous numbers that did nothing but direct me to the internet to send an email, which I did 2x’s. This is the second time this year Anheuser-Busch has had rebate offers and I had issues getting it. I have been a Michelob Ultra drinker for over 30 years and will never purchase this or any other Anheuser-Busch product again. I’m done with the misleading and false rebates and having to jump through hoops to speak to someone!
I think this is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous that a consumer has to go to this extent to get a lousy rebate!

When the terms of the offer are opaque and the customer service is unhelpful then it can be infuriating when a rebate offer is not fulfilled. It appears that the concern originates from the confusion about the eligibility for the rebate notwithstanding that the purchase made was a qualified one. It makes matters even more annoying when one has to face such a situation and there is no one to assist or when a solution is found so much later. In the event that Anheuser-Busch manages these rebate processes so ineptly, I imagine in the first place why would you want to continue supporting the brand. There is no doubt there is a need to improve the quality of their communication and the way that rebates are dealt with.
