I came into arco on July 1st approx and needed to get sometime to drink it was hot and I was dehydrated. I didn't have any money so ask the cashier if they would take my passport and driver's license for collateral for about $6.50 for a drink and a snack she agreed, I said I would try to get the money as soon as that day. well I didn't get back in time to get money to her. 3 days later I came back and was told to come back in the morning, so I did and talked with manager her name start with an "L" same told me that she thought it had been there been months and said she threw it away! So she threw it away 3 days or less with assurance of it not being shredded or anything my car got stolen 4 days later and so that's been a direct problem finding it and getting back! Because of this incompetence highway 74 between homeland and romoland is the location in Riverside county CA.
Claimed loss: The price of license and passport at the very least perhaps some compensation for the fact that she didn't even shred it in order to preserve my identity and that manager be talked to at least.
Desired outcome: Repayed the cost of passport and license at the very least.
