Improper funds awarded
I had to talk to 3 asurion supervisors before I was able to speak with someone who was able to understand the claim fulfillment amount. The first two supervisors didn't understand the warranty agreement, so, the claim amount they quoted me was 50% of what was actually owed to me. The last supervisor I spoke to awarded me the correct amount. The number of calls and waiting time to resolve this was unreasonable. Mind you, guitar center procoverage has their own dedicated lines. They offer two warranties - replacement and service warranty. How it is possible asurion supervisors don't know the contract or how to properly fill a claim is cause for suspicion.
Poor communications between guitar center and asurion
There are little systems that help automate the claim fulfillment process. This means having to go between guitar center and asurion to procure receipts for purchase of item, purchase of warranty, order numbers, warranty numbers and return of defective item. Guitar center may or may not have provided all the receipts and information in which case requires the customer to call between both parties (ie call centers) to obtain proper documentation. There is no clearly defined process or method which makes the claims process a hassle and the chaos for filing a claim is a cause for speculation.
About 2 years ago I purchased some Zildian ear monitors at guitar center in Stafford/Sugarland. the left side stopped working . Im trying to check my account n see if I purchased the protection. to see if i can get them replaced.

I've had nothing but trouble with these guys. they sent my check to the wrong address and I did a reverse address and guess what --- someone with my name lives there --- so they made me file a police report and fill out a fraud affidavit claim for b of a and get it notarized --- which luckily I had a friend who did it for free otherwise it would've been out of my pocket . So now they have about 2 weeks left of 90 days to get back to me and they just called but I missed it so now I'm on indefinite hold. NEVER EVER will I used pro coverage again
