Audi Canada Unreliable Audi A3: Transmission Malfunction and Disappointing Customer Service

I got myself a brand new 2018 Audi A3 and it was all good until after a year of ownership. The car would sometimes fall out of gear without any warning, especially when I was driving at low speeds. I brought it to the Audi dealership, but they couldn't find any code to diagnose the issue. They told me to bring it back when it happens again, but it would only last for a few seconds and would go away on its own. So, I didn't bother bringing it back.

However, after the warranty ran out and when the car had already clocked 99,000 kilometers, I got a transmission malfunction code on my screen. I could still drive the car, but I knew I had to take it to the dealer. I limped into the dealership, and to my surprise, I was given a whopping $5000 bill for the repairs. I was shocked and disappointed. I never expected this from Audi.

I would never buy an Audi again. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Audi. They are unsympathetic and don't care about their customers. They didn't even acknowledge that this failure was related to the earlier problem I reported. So, unless you have very deep pockets, stay away from Audi because you will need them! I would give them ZERO stars if I could.

Audi Canada Nightmare Experience with Audi Canada and Dealerships: Lemon S5 and 7 Thermostat Replacements

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Audi Canada and their dealerships. Specifically, I dealt with Midtown and Queensway. Let me tell you, I bought a 2010 demo S5 in 2019 and it has been nothing but a headache. I mean, I haven't had a consecutive 6 months without this lemon of a vehicle breaking down. It's been one thing after another. From a new transmission to all sorts of electronic fixes, the radio, buzzing sounds, catalytic converter, windows, clutch, coolant reservoir, etc. etc. It's been a real nightmare.

But you know what the most incredibly annoying thing is? I'm on my 7th (yes, SEVENTH) thermostat replacement. The first 5 were done by Audi and were under warranty, but the last 2 I had to pay for myself. Can you believe that? And when I tried to get them to recall the part or compensate me for the 6 (and ongoing) failures of the same part, they basically told me they're not responsible. Can you believe that? I mean, it's not like I'm asking for the moon here. I just want a car that works!

To make matters worse, one set of thermostats had to be replaced only days after Audi Midtown installed a new one. I mean, come on! That's just ridiculous.

All in all, this was my first and last Audi. I'm never buying from them again. It's just not worth the hassle.

Audi Canada Buyer Beware: My Disappointing Experience with Audi Canada

I gotta say, I got myself a pre-owned Audi Q5 from an Audi dealer and boy, was I told that this car had one of the best engines and transmissions Audi made. I didn't do much research, though, and I should have because their 4 cylinder engines are notoriously terrible. I've put a good amount of kilometers on the car since it was purchased from Audi with regular maintenance and now, less than two years later, the engine is fried. It's a common problem with Audi's, but Audi Canada says they won't do anything to help because I'm the second owner and it's high mileage (remember I bought it from them!).

To make matters worse, I had to replace the air conditioner, AC joints, and have work done on the transmission. This car has been nothing but problems from the start. I wouldn't recommend anyone that is buying to steer as far away as possible from Audi. If you are leasing, I'm sure it's different because most of your problems would be covered. But if you are buying used from them, BUYER BEWARE.

Also, let's not forget that they charged me almost $1000 to 'diagnose' the issue I told them it had because my other mechanic had already done it. It's a total rip-off and I'm not happy about it.

Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with Audi Canada and their lack of customer service. They don't seem to care about their customers once they've made a sale. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from them, especially if you're looking for a reliable car.

Audi Canada Unreliable 2015 Audi Q5 TDI: A Disappointing Experience with Southgate Audi in Edmonton

I recently purchased a 2015 Audi q5 tdi from Southgate Audi in Edmonton, and I must say, my experience with this vehicle has been less than satisfactory. When I first bought the car, it had only 90 kms on the odometer, but my first problem occurred at 5300 km. Since then, I have had to spend more than $*** on warranty work, and that's just for the big items, not including the small ones. And that's not even counting the labor costs!

Despite all the work that has been done on the car, I'm still having issues with the engine light coming on. I've had to bring it in to the dealership about 20 times now, and I only have *** kms on the car. Last winter, I even had to get it towed, which left me without a vehicle for two weeks. Needless to say, this Audi, which cost me $ ***, has been the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned.

What's worse is that Audi Canada doesn't seem to care about my problems. I've called and complained numerous times, but they never seem to offer any kind of appeasement to make me happy. It's like they don't care whether their customers are satisfied with their vehicles or not. And every time I have to go back to the dealership in Edmonton, it takes up at least 2 hours of my time. It's like they don't value their customers' time at all.

To make matters worse, the glow plug light has been flashing on and off for the past month, and I'm bringing it in again to get it checked out. I'm starting to lose faith in this car and in Audi Canada as a whole. It's a real shame, because I had high hopes for this vehicle when I first bought it. But now, I'm just counting down the days until I can get rid of it and move on to something more reliable.

Audi Canada Audi Canada's Customer Service is Disgusting - Never Buying from Them Again

I gotta say, I'm pretty ticked off at Audi Canada. Their customer service is just plain awful. I mean, I'm never buying from them again. We got all the extra warranties and even extended our lease, but when our tire blew out on the highway in the middle of nowhere, they left us high and dry. We had to wait three whole hours for roadside assistance to come, and even then, they towed our car further away from our destination and the city we lived in. Apparently, it's some kind of policy that they have to take you to the "closest dealership." But come on, we begged and pleaded with them to take us home, and they wouldn't budge. So we had to rent a car and cut our trip short, just so we could come back home and wait for our car to be fixed. And let me tell you, that was no picnic. We had to drive back five hours and spend the night, just so we could get our car back. And to top it all off, we were promised trip insurance, but when we tried to use it, we found out it wasn't covered. We spent over $2,000 out of pocket, and it took months just to get a supervisor to call us back. I mean, seriously, what kind of service is that? It's now January 2021, and this all happened back in September 2020. They wouldn't make any exceptions for us, even though we're loyal customers who have referred people in the past. Honestly, their policies are just plain outdated. For a "luxury" brand, they sure don't act like it. I've had better service at Acura and Ford, and I'm never buying from Audi again. It's just plain disgusting.

Audi Canada Terrible Service and Unjust Charges: My Experience with Audi Boundary

So, I got myself a Q3 with the full service package and took it to Audi Boundary to get some issues checked out. The car was idling weirdly, the brakes were making noise, and the radio presets weren't working right. I left it with them for three whole weeks, and when they finally got back to me, they said that the idling issue wasn't covered by my warranty, the brake noise was just a thing that happens with Audis sometimes, and the radio problem was Sirius's fault. They did offer to fix the idling issue by decarbonizing the valves, but they wanted to charge me for it.

When I got the invoice, though, I saw that their own mechanic had found and fixed the problem, and it had nothing to do with the decarbonization. It seemed like they just wanted to find a way to make some extra cash after having my car for so long. I showed Audi Canada the evidence, but all they did was wait for two months for Audi Boundary to respond. When they finally did, all they did was apologize. They didn't do anything to make it right.

Now, every time I'm driving around and I hear my brakes squealing over the sound of the radio I can't preset, I think about how badly Audi Boundary ripped me off. It's probably the worst service I've ever received in any realm. I would definitely recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Audi Canada Audi A4: High-End or High-Maintenance? My Experience with Audi Canada and VW Group

So, I heard that Audi Canada and VW Group are like, the same thing. I bought a used Audi A4 from them in 2010, it was like, two years old and had a warranty and stuff. I always put the good gas in it and got oil changes every 5,000K like my mechanic said, not every 15,000K like Audi said. But then, as soon as the warranty was up, the car started burning oil and like, falling apart. I had to replace the head gasket, ball joints, AC unit, fuel pump, clutch, and exhaust system. And now, the transmission is messed up and I lost third gear. Like, seriously? This car is supposed to be high-end but it's just a piece of junk. And the maintenance and repairs are so expensive, it's ridiculous. They told me these cars can go up to 300K but mine is only at 223K and I have to decide if I want to spend even more money to fix it or just get nothing for it on a trade-in.

I complained to Audi Canada and they were like, "oh, here's a $750 credit towards a new car." Like, that's nothing compared to how much I've spent on this stupid car. Unless you're like, super rich and can afford to waste money, don't buy an Audi.

Audi Canada Beware of Audi South Gate: Sold me a car with faulty brakes

Attention to all members of the community,

I recently purchased a Honda car from Audi South Gate dealership located at 1235 101 St SW, Edmonton, AB T6X 1A1 in June. However, after only 8 weeks of owning the car, I discovered that they sold me the car with rear brake pads that were only 1mm thick. This was confirmed by the AMVIC FAILED CAR report given to me by the Wheaton Honda workshop when my indicated B services were due. When I bought the car, the Audi dealership salesman, Tim, told me that the rear brakes were 4mm thick.

I was shocked to hear this news and went back to Audi South Gate. Mr. Rob took my car into the workshop and came back to me asking for $350 to replace the right rear brake pad. I told him that both sides of the brake pads needed to be replaced at the same time, not just one side. He then told me that they needed to order parts and that I should come back after 3 days. However, I knew that parts could be ordered over the phone and delivered within an hour anywhere in Edmonton. He lied to me again and never ordered any parts for me. He repeatedly told me that Wheaton Honda had lied to me.

This is the story of how I was cheated and robbed at South Gate Audi. I advise people not to deal with Southgate Audi at any cost, as they will cheat you one way or another. I have filed a complaint with AMVIC EDMONTON and am waiting for their reply. However, this whole experience has made me extremely sick and disappointed.

It is important for dealerships to be honest and transparent with their customers. Selling a car with faulty brakes is not only dangerous but also unethical. I hope that Audi Canada takes this matter seriously and ensures that their dealerships provide quality service to their customers.

In conclusion, I urge everyone to be cautious when dealing with Audi South Gate dealership and to thoroughly inspect any car before purchasing it. It is always better to be safe than sorry.

Audi Canada Disappointing Customer Service: Audi Canada's Response to Power Steering Failure in 2016 Q3

I recently bought a 2016 Q3 from Audi Canada and I have to say, I'm not too impressed with their customer service. When the temperature drops to -20 degrees Celsius, the power steering fails. I took it to an Audi dealership and they told me that this generation of Q3s has this issue. They said that the steering rack needs to be replaced and gave me a temporary solution.

I reached out to Audi Canada about this safety issue and they told me that it was no longer under warranty. They did offer me a loyalty voucher to purchase a new or used vehicle, but I was not happy with their response. I explained that I had only purchased the car in September 2022 and had not had a chance to have this issue repaired under their NVLW. The previous owner had obviously not fixed the problem, but I had no way of knowing why.

Their response was unprofessional and sarcastic, which left a bad taste in my mouth. They offered to review for a possible Loyalty Voucher to assist with the purchase of a New or Used Audi vehicle, but I felt like they were not taking my concerns seriously. This experience has made me reconsider buying another Audi product in the future.

Audi Canada claims to be committed to providing the highest level of service, but I don't feel like they lived up to that promise. This power steering issue is a safety concern and the fact that Audi is not willing to replace the steering rack, even though they are aware of the deficiency, is very disappointing. I hope that Audi Canada will take this issue seriously and work to improve their customer service in the future.

Audi Canada Nightmare Experience: Don't Trust Capilano Audi's Salesmen or Mechanics

I recently bought a car from Capilano Audi over the phone from Toronto. At first, everything seemed great, but things quickly went downhill. When the car was being picked up, the salesman told me that there was a scratch on the front bumper and multiple rock chips. This was surprising because he had told me multiple times before I purchased the car that there was no damage to the car and that it was "perfect." The only reason he told me about the damage was because the shipping company does their inspection and makes note of any damage. If they hadn't done their inspection, I would have received the car and probably had the blame put on the shipping company.

Capilano Audi offered to fix the damage and pay for the paint to be touched up, which I was happy about. However, things got worse when I received the car. I noticed that the lower front grill was also cracked, which the salesman failed to mention again. When I brought it up to him, he completely ignored it. Since they had already said they would fix the paint, I decided not to bother them more and fix the grill eventually.

However, I didn't realize that behind the crack in the lower front grill was a cracked A/C condenser right behind it. When I tried to bring it up to them and explain my situation, they told me there was "no way" because they did their inspections and everything was fine. But if they did their inspection properly, why did the lower front grill pass inspection when I have proof it was cracked in their possession?

I don't know how anyone can trust the salesmen or the mechanics working at Capilano Audi. First, they told me they didn't see the scratch or paint chips because the car was dirty. Maybe they should wash it before inspecting it? Then, they pretty much called me a liar when I had picture proof that the grill was cracked in their possession. I even attached a clip from a video taken by Aaron at the dealership in Vancouver where, if you zoom in, you can see the lower grill is cracked.

To top it off, Audi Canada won't do anything about it and said I have to take it up with the dealership because, according to their inspection, everything was fine (even though I sent them the proof). Now I'm stuck paying $1700 to fix my condenser when it wasn't my fault and wasn't working to begin with.

My first experience with Audi has been a nightmare, and I honestly wish I never left BMW. Learn from my experience and never purchase a car from them without being there to inspect it for yourself, even though you feel confident like I did because you're dealing with Audi.

Audi Canada Audi A4

My complaint is regarding the quality of vehicles Audi produces and sells. I purchased a certified pre-owned 2017 A4 from a dealership, serviced at the dealership and maintained in good condition. In 2022 I had a failure of the A/C system that cost me approximately $1000 CAD to repair and just now I had another (yet different) failure of the A/C system costing me $5000 to repair. This vehicle 6 years old and the A/C system has cost me $6000 so far to repair. Is this the quality that Audi stands for as their luxury vehicles? It's very disappointing. As I am currently in the process of shopping for a new vehicle, I will think twice about recommending Audi around me and getting another one myself if this is in fact what Audi is all about.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and some sort of financial assistance for the repairs.

Audi Canada Impressed with Audi Canada's Customer Service & Warranty Coverage

So, I decided to reach out to Audi Canada (audi.ca) to see if they could help me out. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of customer service I received. The representative I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were able to provide me with some helpful information about my warranty and what my options were.

After discussing my situation with the representative, they were able to connect me with a local Audi dealership that could help me with my rust issue. The dealership was able to provide me with a solution that was covered under my warranty, and they were able to get the repair done quickly and efficiently.

Overall, I was very impressed with the level of service I received from Audi Canada. They were able to help me resolve my issue in a timely and professional manner, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy car manufacturer.

However, there were a couple of spelling and grammar errors in the communication I received from Audi Canada. While these errors didn't affect the clarity or correctness of the information presented, they did make me feel like I was dealing with a human being rather than a corporate entity.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a car manufacturer that cares about its customers and is willing to go the extra mile to help them out, then I would definitely recommend Audi Canada. They may not be perfect, but they are definitely one of the better car manufacturers out there.

Audi Canada Disappointing Experience with 2022 Audi Q5: Battery and Motor Issues

Bought a brand new 2022 progressive q5 from Audi Canada and boy, was I excited! But my excitement quickly turned into disappointment when I realized that the battery goes dead every 2 weeks, even with the tender on it. It's frustrating to have to deal with this issue constantly.

To make matters worse, there was a recall on the motor which was badly built. I've only driven 3000km and I might have to replace it already. This is unacceptable for a brand new car.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying an Audi q5. The bad electronics seem to be the new normal for this model and it's been going on for 3 years now. It's a shame because I really wanted to love this car, but it's just not worth the hassle. Save yourself the headache and buy a different brand.

Audi Canada Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience Leasing an Audi Q5

Leased an Audi Q5 for 4 years and returned it in tip-top shape and well under the mileage limit. However, to my dismay, Audi Canada charged me $500 for some made-up things that I had no ability to question. I was left with no choice but to pay them and move on. This was a huge disappointment for me as I have leased other luxury cars from dealers like BMW and Mercedes and never received any fake charges like this.

I must say, I was quite disappointed with Audi Canada's customer service. The charges were not justified, and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. It's a shame because I really enjoyed driving the Q5, but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. I would not recommend leasing an Audi to anyone.

I hope Audi Canada takes note of this and improves their customer service. It's important to treat customers with respect and not charge them for things that are not justified. I would have considered leasing another Audi in the future, but after this experience, I will be looking elsewhere.

In conclusion, if you're thinking about leasing an Audi, I would advise against it. The charges are not transparent, and the customer service is lacking. There are other luxury car dealers out there that offer better service and more transparent charges.

Audi Canada Audi Canada's Negligence: My Disappointing Experience with Clutch Repairs

I had a really bad experience with Audi Canada (audi.ca). I bought a 2016 Audi A5 and after driving only 13,000 km, the clutch failed in 2019. I was really disappointed when Audi refused to cover the cost of the repair, which was a whopping $5,000.00. I had no choice but to pay for it myself.

But that wasn't the end of my troubles with Audi. After driving an additional 40,000 km, the clutch failed again in December 2021. This time, Audi wanted to charge me $6,600.00 for the repair. I couldn't afford to pay that much, so I had to bring the car to Mr Transmission and get it repaired for $3,800.00.

I was really upset that Audi refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the clutch failures. It's clear to me that they are negligent, irresponsible, and unaccountable for their cars and repairs. I would advise anyone to stay away from Audi and not to buy their cars.

Overall, my experience with Audi Canada was really disappointing. I hope that they will take more responsibility for their cars and repairs in the future.

Audi Canada Terrible Customer Service from Audi Canada - No Resolution in 4 Weeks

Audi Canada ain't worth your time, mate. I had a problem with them and they said a supervisor had to deal with it. They said it would take 1-3 business days to get back to me. But it's been 4 weeks now and I've followed up with them 6 or 7 times. Every time I ask to talk to the supervisor, they say they'll call me back. But they never do. It's like they don't care about keeping their customers happy. I reckon Audi Canada should just close down.

Audi Canada Audi Canada: Deceitful and Disorganized - My Terrible Experience with the 2019 Q8

I gotta say, my experience with Audi Canada has been nothing short of terrible. I used to own a 2019 Audi Q8, but let me tell you, that car was nothing but trouble. The electrical system was a complete mess, and I found myself stranded on the side of the highway more times than I care to remember. I took it to the dealership multiple times, but the problem just kept coming back. And let me tell you, having a luxury car out of commission for weeks at a time is not a fun experience.

What really got me though, was that Audi Canada knew about the issue, but tried to sweep it under the rug. They offered me a credit, but it was insulting and they never even followed through on it. I mean, come on, if you're going to offer something, at least have the decency to follow through on it.

Overall, I found Audi Canada to be deceitful and disorganized. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. If you're thinking about buying an Audi, I'd say buyer beware.

Audi Canada Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Audi Canada and Dealerships

I recently had my 2013 Q7 serviced in Kingston, but shortly after driving to Toronto, I noticed a strange fluttering sound coming from the engine. Worried about driving back on the 401, I decided to call Audi Vaughan and Markham for help. Unfortunately, their response was less than helpful - they told me to bring it in and leave it with them, warning that it could take up to 72 hours for their mechanics to take a look at it. As someone who needed to be back at work in Kingston in just 48 hours, this was not a feasible solution.

Feeling frustrated and let down by the lack of support from the local dealerships, I decided to reach out to Audi Canada for assistance. Unfortunately, their response was equally disappointing - I was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service I received from Audi Canada and their dealerships.

While I have been a loyal Audi customer for many years, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I expected better from a company that prides itself on luxury and quality. If this is the kind of service I can expect from Audi in the future, I may have to reconsider my loyalty to the brand. In fact, I might have gotten better service if I had bought a Lada!

Overall, I would caution anyone considering an Audi to think twice before making a purchase. While the cars themselves may be top-notch, the customer service and support leave much to be desired.

Audi Canada Audi's Lack of Customer Support for Front License Plate Issue: A Frustrating Experience

I recently had an issue with my Audi car that I purchased in a jurisdiction that does not require a front license plate. However, I needed to have a front plate due to my home address. I searched for a solution to this problem and found out that it has been an ongoing issue for over a decade across North America. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to address this issue other than purchasing a part that costs over $600 and fixing it myself, which is ridiculous considering the car cost me over $100K.

I tried to reach out to Audi AG, but they were unreachable. Audi Canada was of no help either, as they simply referred me back to the dealers. The dealers were more than happy to sell me the extra parts and labor, including the original selling dealer. However, they had no ability or desire to provide me with the ability to escalate the issue within Audi/Volkswagen.

It's frustrating to see such a lack of customer support from a company like Audi. As a loyal customer, I expected better from them. It's disappointing to see that they are not willing to help their customers with such a simple issue. I hope that they will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving their customer service in the future.

Audi Canada Disappointing Experience at Durham Audi: Q8 Test Drive Hindered by Messy Car and Lack of Customer Care

So, I went to Durham Audi to check out the Q8 and maybe buy it. But when I got there, the car was a mess! There were two car seats in there, along with the manager's personal stuff and mud all over the place. I mean, come on! The sales guy, Steve, didn't even care enough to clean it up before showing it to me. It's like they don't even care about their customers. Maybe it's because I'm a young guy of color? I don't know, but it's not right. I'm already a loyal Audi customer - I have a Q5 and my wife has a Q3 - but this experience really let me down. Audi needs to step up their game and treat all their customers with respect.

Audi Canada Audi Canada: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Accountability

I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Audi Canada. They don't seem to have much faith in their own products, and their customer service is a real letdown. The supervisors at their call centers act like they're the kings of the world and their word is law. It's really frustrating when you're trying to get something fixed and they won't even listen to you.

I've got two Audis, and both of them have had issues that were clearly caused by poor engineering and design. But Audi won't take responsibility for their mistakes. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. And unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it. Canada doesn't have strong consumer protection laws, so we're pretty much at their mercy.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying an Audi to anyone. They seem to be all about planned obsolescence - making their cars break down after just a few years so you have to keep buying new ones. It's a real shame, because they used to be such a great brand. But now, it's just not worth the hassle. If you're thinking about buying an Audi, I'd say steer clear and tell your friends to do the same.
