Award Notification Commission [ANC] review: 2000000.00 winner 85

I received a letter in the mail a couple days ago. When I first got the letter My Boyfriend said it was a SCAM. So I read it again this morning. So I got on the computer and looked it up. It is a Scam. I'm so Blessed to have a very smart Man to keep me grounded from SHADY People. So if someone tells you something like this is a SCAM 9 times out of 10 it is. Good thing we have the internet to bust people before we give them our money. They should be shut down.

I received this letter today. Listen people, think about it. You shouldn't have to send money to get money.

Larry Hourd what a joke!He sent me a letter saying I won just send 12.99 for processing fee;he will send the 2 million dollar check..I googled him found he is a fraudster .We all need to band together and send a complaint to the us attnys and see what they could do to prosecute him.I wonder just how many people have sent in the money for this damming fraud upon the people of this Great Nation!

I just got mine and it says to mail back a check, money order or cash in 7 days with $15 to claim the prize.
I am tempted to make them a fake check and let Karma handle the rest. It says I won but at the bottom says
a purchase will not guarantee a win.

Looks like I really don't have to say a thing because everyone else has said it all but I got this letter and although I did not have the 12.99 they asked for I sent them 13.00 and today I got the same letter someone should be looking iinto this because as far as I am concerned this is false advertisement

I've just received a letter from them the other day saying I'm a winner and I have two options A.1, 23, 946.00 or B. 2, 000, 000.00, but I need to send in $12.99 for the Premium Offer Fee for Delivery. Something told me to google them. I asked God to show and send me clarification. It is so many scams going around you just can't believe nobody.

Yes it is a scam if you have to send money to win money. I called the Better Business Bureau about another scam by this man calling me telling me that I won $2million dollars and a Lexus convertible from Publishers Clearing House. And I could have it all just by getting dressed and going to the closet Western Union and sending him $385. He said that I had to hurry and send him this money and get back home before the PCH delivery team got to my house. He was willing to stay on the phone with me the whole time, even while getting dressed, going to the bank and driving to the nearest Western Union! So I hung up on him and called the BBB and they said that it is a scam, you do not send or give any amount of money, to win money. So please check these so called winnings out first before you send anything.

We received the letter, mailed back, and then it took 11 MONTHS to get our award. ELEVEN MONTHS! Plus they took out a "finders fee" of TWO THOUSAND dollars from our 2 mil! HIGHWAY ROBBERY!

I am in Michigan and have received two also. My fee was 12.99 I thought it looked official but my gram's voice was in my ear saying "You shouldn't have to pay if you are a WIWINNER".

Yeah I just received one of these today and I have received them once once in the past. Nothing but a SCAM ! The letter claims I won $2, 000, 000 and all I have to do is send in a $12.99 Acquisition fee for Premium Offer! What a lie! Robbers, taking peoples money for what?...absolutely nothing! They need to be put out of business!

This outfit has updated their pitch. Now the recipient is promised a Premium Offer ($12.99) of a gift certificate of $2, 500 for up to 75% off WONrewards.com online merchandise and service offerings. WONrewards appears to be a bonafide online sales company.
The contracts state that no purchase is necessary and will not influence the prize. There is, of course, no guarantee at all that the gift certificate will be sent to the applicant.
Also a number has been assigned to the applicant which must match the assigned number on their application form in order to be the winner. The number has several digits and one does not have to be a math wizard to figure the odds on a match. They no longer maintain 'your number' to be a winner but only a CHANCE to wi n if the number matches their pre-selected one.
Looks like they have halfway wised up to make their 'contest' look legit...or?

Well i have never had send money to stranger and of course this guys are stranger maybe algerian that comes to us and think that we are stupid. ...Well i can see sometimes we are. You must remember the rules you must work for what you have so be carefull how you spend zorry not spend but give your money away ...Nobody in this world get something for nothing. It happenning every single date that socker take the bite and they know that is the reason that they keep tryng, agaain, , again, , and again dont give money away, even the lotto are doing fraud, , be carefull.

Well... add one more to the list! I received this very convincing letter on Monday 21, 2015, which was the perfect time for these crooks because I happen to be going through some financial woes and believed my prayers had been answered. Therefor, my blinders were on and I couldn't see anything but the end of my worries. Otherwise, I may have noticed that the paperwork(which needed to be returned before the deadline date) had no dates on it with the exception of an issue day of the week and a time. An incomplete date/time/group should have been the first beacon of fraud, followed by " Reply requested within 7 days and the only form off acceptance t reply by mail only." Then the panic set in. I didn't want to suffer the consequences of a late reply and receive an " Automatic Termination ", so I went into rush mode:
* got up early in the morning and rushed to the Post Office
* decided to send the paperwork registered and next day express
* and decided to do more research after the rush wore off
I'm hoping that someone will get scared and not sign for delivery. Nonetheless, I will need to visit my bank to inform them of the fraud and be on the alert because I sent them a check ( name, address, routing number ) and may need to change my account. This was definitely a learning experience that I will never forget. It seems to me that this is Federal Mail fraud and should be looked into by the FBI and the Awards Notification address should be flagged for possible mail fraud. i

I recieved a letter today on Jan, 1/12/16. I got all excited then thought to myself this can't be possible so I looked it up to find it to be a scam.It is crazy how these companies are scamming people.But I do know not to send money to them because if it is real it should be given freely without a payment.

Got the same letter sent them nothing back and a note saying if i won send me money first then you get your 12.99 :)

I also received the same letter today with 2 options of payment; 1. A lump sum check for $1, 327, 940.00, or 2. $2, 000, 000.00 to be paid annually for 30 years in payments of $66, 666.66. No taxes or commissions withheld as a condition for accepting the AWARD or CASH FUNDS. In addition, a Premium Offer of a $2, 500.00 Gift Certificate for up to 75% off WONrewards.com online merchandise and service offerings. But to receive the Premium Offer I must send an Acquisition fee of $12.99 within 7 days to the office of ANC by cash, check, or money order. Now who would be stupid enough to send cash in the mail. At least they didn't ask for payment by Credit Card... The check is perforated to the bottom of the letter. I wonder what would happen if I actually took the check to my credit union and tried to cash it?! Might be pretty funny. Do you think anyone else has ever tried? There is nothing on the "CHECK" that says notification only, or not to be cashed. What do you all think?

I received the same letter. Has anyone turned them in for MAIL FRAUD?

I just a letter for Award Notification Commission stating that I wound 2, 000, 000 and that I have until the deadline to mail back the winning numbers along with $12.99. I continued to read and it never said what the deadline was so I googled information about this strange sweepstake winning. Guess what, its a scam! Always read the fine print. If you have to pay money to win money, it's always a scam.

Just got this in the mail and my children read it as we were driving down the road. Do these people think we are that dumb? So when you look them up they have an all out bad rep and need to be shut down.

Thank you everyone for this information. I just checked my mail now here in Florida. And found one of this letter saying I won $2M. and need to pay $11.89 to Judging and Financial Matters Final Processing, PO Box 2905, Kansas City, Kansas [protected], United States of America. I was on my way getting a money order when I followed my instinct to check for more information about them. Alas! here is bunch of eye opening information. I must say for sure the letters are much convincing and for one who truly needs a breakthrough like this, its a smooth scam!

This is a total scam. I also recieved an award letter yesterday that I won 2 million. Then they asked for a payment of 11.89. As they always say if it's to good to be true than it isn't. I did not send in no payment. If some one won something, they are not going to ask for money. Besides if I did win let them take it out of my winnings.

To all who get this letter send it back, sign your name with the opposite hand you usually sign with (so you don't use your real signature) and tell them to take their fee out of your winning😂

Just Got mine today. It looks real official but the wording like You chance to win this opportunity and something of that nature sets my hairs off on the back of my neck. It's all a scam and that is it. I also did everything required of me for many years with publishers clearing house who also sends letters similar to this too you to keep you hooks and trying but it is all a rip off. I did everything like it asked and never won one thing from them. Someone here commented that this information about us came from Publishers Clearing House? The persons that gave me info to these guys should go down with these scammers. They are promoting scams by selling to entities such as this. Just report this to the US Postal Service. It is a federal offense to do scams like this in the US Mail system.

OOPs! Should have read the directions for texting. Somehow my words got tweaked before I submitted it and there is no way to edit it to fix the wording back the way is it suppose to have read. Figures. lol

I too received one of these letters, stating that I had won $2, 000, 000.00. Upon looking closely at the paper, I could tell it was copied. Also, nothing was written on the back, which also told me it was copied. A legit sweepstakes usually has the rules or other information on the back. After reading the paper that they include with the award letter, I noticed the amount of the winnings was totally different than the award letter ! Also, it states that they will be electronically taking $30.00 from the account that you so generously provided the information to them. Come on people, use a little common sense, you "DO NOT" pay for something you're suppose to have "WON". When I get one of these in the mail, I use a marker and write on it in large letters, "GET A REAL JOB, YOU FREE LOADING THIEF" Well worth the .47(cents) to me to have the satisfaction of telling them to get a real job. And to let them know that they are not getting my money !

The last comment was posted in May of 2013. I received a letter from these con artists today, the 15th day of August 2016 and they are still at it. I googled Award Notification Commission and all, not just a couple, all of the websites that popped up were reporting of this scam. I am glad I took a minute to find out what this was all about and thank you for sites like this so we, as consumers, can be informed of people like this trying to get something for nothing. Their time will come. I have already spent more time with this mattewr then I would have liked to spend. Thanks again and God Bless.

I too am a person who's been scammed .What happen to me is this, I followed thur with sending the forms back that ANC sent me .One time only I paid about 13$ to buy what was called a "Premium offer" which was a crappy piece of jewelry not worth 5$.ANC kept sending me form after form...at one point they sent me a letter with a part of it like they were demanding I pay for the premium offer that they were holding forme but me I never told them to first it would have cost $12.99...when I didn't pay that for a few forms they suddenly up the cost to $139.95...HAHA...what, if I don't pay when it's $12.99 what makes them think I would pay $139 ?...so I sent a note in with a form I returned about not gonna pay...they ignored it...sent me another form.but now the cost is $69
...sssooooo scammers...so I rip up that form and I AM NOT SENDING ANYTHING BACK TO THEM...let's see what happens when the latest form is never returned?!

I paid the 1st $15.99 for fast processing...ANC started sending me a bunch of forms...form after form after form...then after a while of this they started putting on the forms something called a "Premium offer" and would reserve it for me...I eventually bought one ... one time only ...they continued to send me form after form trying to get me to pay for the thing they reserved for me that I didn't want ...they sent a form with a small paragraph saying stuff like they were demanding I pay for it ..then they up the price from $12.99 to $139...if I'm not paying when it was $12.99 what makes them think I would pay $139 ? I sent them a short note to tell them I didn't want the premium offer and I wasn't paying anything...think ignored my note...in a couple days they sent another form just like all the before ones...but now the premium offer price is $69...on the same day I got a different form that they sent before ...it was a different name company but the P.O. box was the same as ANC then the price for the premium offer was back to $12.99.all the while each form made it sound like I would receive the check for the big money that I still haven't got...shhheeesh I DON'T KNOW...!

I'm so lucky to check the internet and read all your exchanged messages before sending the money. The money is not the issue, it's the way they are utilizing innocent citizens. I received today, May 15, 2017, similar letter. I suspected it as someone who will win this amount of money, I believe the TV and the news would be at our door to congratulate us! They are not smart; sooner or later they will be uncovered and lose their credibility. It's an opportunity to thank you all for sharing such deceitful operation.
