Back to the Roots Review: Hidden Fees & Poor Customer Service, Save Your Money!
Yo, listen up ya'll, I gotta warn ya bout dis company called Back to the Roots. They straight up charge ya some hidden fees when ya sign up and it's mad hard to get out of it. Plus, if their products don't work, dey ain't gonna honor the guarantee like they said they would. It's a real bummer. And let me tell ya, da only way to get in touch with them is through a robot chat or email. There ain't no way to leave a review on their site, so what's up wit dat?
I learned da hard way when I was hit wit dis surprise charge after subscribing. Placed an order on their website, and da products ain't doin what they promised. So, I reached out to da customer service, but all they gave me was a runaround. Finally, I got an email address for customer service, but it took 'em forever to respond. And when they did, they straight up said they couldn't do nothin about it.
I ain't gonna lie, I was hella disappointed. It's like da company's only in it for da money and don't care about their customers. Can't even leave a review for other peeps to know. Da site don't got nowhere for that, so it's like they're hiding something, know what I mean?
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Back to the Roots. Between da sneaky fees, worthless products, and bad customer service, it's just not worth it. It's a shame they don't care 'bout their peeps like they should.
Back to the Roots Herb Garden Kit: A Disappointing Experience with Moldy Seeds and No Sprouts
I tried Back to the Roots and followed dem direcciones, but dang, nothing ever sprouted! When I opened the first seed packet, da seeds was all moldy and nasty, so I holla'd at da company. Dey came through and sent me a new pack of seeds to try. But even after that, none of the 3 herb cans worked. Not even one of them had a lil sprout, let alone some actual herbs. I been growin' herbs for years, so I know a thing or two, and let me tell you, dis product is just plain terrible. Save your money, y'all. Don't nobody need dis kind of frustration in they life.
Misleading Claims and Poor Customer Service: Back to the Roots Seed Starting Medium Review
This seed starting medium from Back to the Roots claims to be organic, but in reality, it only contains chopped bark. This made it extremely difficult for me to plant my seeds and get them to grow properly. Unfortunately, I was unable to return the product because I live too far away from Walmart. Instead, I had to spend time sifting through the medium to find something suitable for planting my seeds. I did try to contact Back to the Roots via Facebook, but I have not received a response from them yet. Additionally, the email address provided on their website seems to be invalid, which is frustrating. Overall, I would caution others against purchasing this product and suggest that they look for something else to use. The lack of customer service and misleading claims about the organic nature of this seed starting medium make it not worth the hassle.
Back to the Roots Pearl Oyster Grow Kit Review: Easy, Rewarding, with one Area for Improvement
Got myself one of the Back to the Roots' pearl oyster grow kit. Instructions were pretty easy for me to follow. I was able to see my mushrooms sprouting just as expected in about 10 days. Got a great harvest out of it, with minimal effort on my part, and now I'm actually excited to try and grow a second batch with the same kit.
I had a thought, you know, this grow kit could actually make a wholesome gift for older children who have interest in the natural science world. It's educational in its own way, and the whole process of cultivation can be very rewarding. I'm happy with my experience so far.
But, one gripe I do have is with the design of the box itself. Once the mushrooms begin to grow, the weight can cause the box to tilt forward. And that can actually mean damaging the precious, budding crop. I'd like to see the Back to the Roots team improve on that aspect, perhaps with a stronger, reinforced box that can better support the weight of the mushrooms.
Back to the Roots Grow Kit- Not Worth the Money or Time!
Yo, just wanted to share my experience with Back to the Roots. I was fresh outta the hospital and had a free kit to cash in. But son of a gun, there were no seeds in the box! I hit up their customer service and lemme tell ya, they were straight up rude. Ugh, not worth my time or money, ya feel me? Like, sure, the planter kits may look nice and cute, but once you add in the cost of buying a plant and one of their grow kits, you're spending over $40. And I'm on a tight budget, man. I only had a gift card to work with, so I went to Walmart to snag a plant with the rebate they were offering. But then I had to pay shipping and the dang plant ended up costing me $11. Not worth it, man. And with their rude service, forget about it. I'll just grab a mason jar, a little plant, and some string, which is way cheaper. Back to the Roots? More like Back to the Drawing Board!
