Didn’t get what I paid for…
I ordered a super deluxe table pad, leaf pad, storage bags and magnets connections. for my brand new Lexington dining room table in December 2023. It arrived in January 2024. I placed it on my table and everything appeared to be normal (this was my second purchase in the last 7 years). During the first family dinner I noticed the pads were shifting away from each other so I started checking on the magnetic connections and found none. I contacted the company and Melissa asked me to first take a paper clip and drag it down the edge to locate the magnets. At first I didn’t find any area where the paper clip was attracted. Then as I pressed on the seem there was one place where it did attract but no where else did it seem to connect. She asked me to send photos right away. Which I did. I heard back from her via email with my photos attached and 3 or 4 areas circled telling me that’s where the magnets were installed. I tried and tried and tried to find any connections with the paper clip and the table tops. (Remember this was not my first top and I had never experienced any problems like this before). I emailed her back and said it still was not connecting. Her last email to me told me to let a little more time go by because “the connections would get stronger over time.” I told her that was absurd. She never responded again. I called back and asked to speak to a manager. I was told the general manager would call me back that afternoon. No call. I called back the following day and asked to speak to the manager. The manager was not available but I was told they would call me back later in the day. It’s 11:50pm EST and still no call. This is not a cheap table top and to be blown off so cavalierly is not worthy of a company with a history of being 5 Star. I would not recommend this company strictly because of their very poor quality control and customer service.

My sales representative sent me tracing paper and instructions for measuring the table since it was a more difficult shape. She walked me through the process and answered all my questions. I followed the instructions and received my table pad that perfectly fit my table. The quality and color were great. I could not have been more pleased. My customer service rep. was great, and I would definitely recommend Bergers Tablepad for this type of product.

Amazing customer service, quality products! I was very pleased with the table pad I ordered. It was exactly what I ordered and is very beautiful, obviously made with quality materials and workmanship. I had cause to contact customer service, speaking with ***, who had also taken my order. He was a pleasure to deal with initially, but also was very helpful when *** reported that my package had been delivered, but was nowhere to be found. *** very quickly initiated a replacement order and said he would expedite delivery. Fortunately, the original package showed up about 24 hours after *** claimed delivery had been made (the fault was completely with the *** driver) and I was able to contact *** and stop the replacement order. I was very happy with every aspect of my transaction with this company and do not hesitate to recommend it.
5 1/2 months after ordering and paying for my table pad I still don't have it. You can call and call and call and leave message after message after message after message... you can send email after email after email after email and not get any response... when you finally actually get to talk to your customer service person, you get lied to over and over and over again. It will be in the mail next week. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !
The table pads are beautiful! They match the color of my kitchen set perfectly. While I wanted to purchase table pads to protect my table, I was concerned that they would slip and slide and look sloppy. The magnetic feature is ingenious! The pads are in place and looking great! In addition to the great product, thank you for the assistance that was provided. *** could not have been nicer!

I can't say enough about this company. They are exactly as advertised. Wonderful. I recently had a table pad made. They told me to measure the table, send them the measurements and they would make the pad accordingly. I was very hesitant to do this as I am not the best at taking measurements. They assured me that they would remake the pad if not correct. They sent pad samples ahead of time. Well, I took the measurements and lo and behold, they sent a pad that fits perfectly. We love the pad and only wished we had done this years ago. We now use the table daily without worrying about damaging the top. I highly recommend this company.
My round table is an unusual size but the pad fits perfectly. Very sturdy. Highly recommend.

We were pleased with our initial contact and relations with Bergers, especially with Rob in *** as he worked to put our order together.That was a 4-star experience and surely quite typical for almost ANY business that wants to stay in business today.What we DIDN'T know was how strongly they stand behind their product and workmanship.Six months or so after delivery, a house guest noticed a slight flaw as a layer of the pad had pulled apart on an inside corner. We took a picture and sent it to Rob.Quite honestly we just wanted to let them know about it. There was no real damage (unless the whole thing would eventually come apart) but we were expecting them to send us some adhesive or other and lay out a series of steps to make the repair.Instead, and MUCH to our surprise, Rob called the next day to confirm our shipping address so they could send us a replacement pad AT NO COST!The true test of a business is discovered not at the point of sale, but when something goes wrong and as far as the *** family is concerned, Bergers is definitely a SIX STAR company

We are very fussy and hesitant to order anything without seeing, touching, feeling. In other words, we appreciate old school shopping and quality. We went out on a limb based off of Bergers years in business and the confidence I got after speaking with sales representative, ***. We just received our custom table pad. It is beautiful enough to keep on all of the time if we choose and fits our table perfectly! I will no longer be paranoid when entertaining regarding spills, moisture rings or scratches. It was a bit of a wait, but they told us that would be the case, and it was worth waiting for! I would not hesitate to do business with *** again. Thank you, L.Z.

Terrible. We ordered table pads in November, they came this weekend. Deplorable. 4/4 pads are sloppy, bumpy, jagged, misaligned, all wrong. The only good thing I can say is the *** is a pretty color. Other than that, these are a hot mess and definitely not worth $500. I asked for a refund, and they said they do not do that. I sent the salesperson over 2 photos who asked me to share them with her manager which I did. They said reorder them for replacement. No way. You will never get my business or anyone else I know for that matter. They never acknowledged the faulty product nor apologized. Buyers beware-if youre looking for quality, do not purchase from them.

We couldn't be happier with the options and the fit. The pad is nice enough to leave on all the time to protect the table if needed. A bonus is the custom tablecloth! Received the custom table top pads on January 19th. Was very pleased with them. They fit the table perfectly and the color was just right. I like the magnetic connection that holds the pads together. Had purchased table pads 35 years ago that did not have this feature and have to adjust them often. It helps keep the pads centered and no space separating them. I would buy them again if I needed table pads again.

Found Bergers on line and called them up. My salesman was ***, who was truly the reason I stayed interested and continued the conversation! Rob made me totally comfortable explaining every detail of the process of ordering the protective pad and options available. I asked if they also sold custom table cloths, as both my dining room table and my kitchen table were both odd sizes and Id never had proper table cloths. I ordered two colors of the table cloths and napkins to match and they are beautiful. The quality was wonderful and had all the things youd look for in a table cloth, rich color choices, great wrinkle resistance, stain resistant and will not shrink! Im so thrilled with my choices. The service was outstanding! This is definitely a company I wish Id known about years ago. I will say, service is EVERYTHING. I really feel my experience had everything to do with my luck In working with the young man, ***, my salesman. He was a no pressure, great communicator kind of a guy. Placed an order for a table pad early Feb 2020. Not received it end April 2020. Order placed via website, and full payment made. When we called to inquire about status of the table pad, phone reps claim that they cannot help if order was placed via website, and to inquire via email. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. Can understand a delay in production given ongoing viral pandemic, but if you cannot respond to emails - or even send a generic email that things are delayed - reflects very poorly. Irritated, and hope I have not lost my money. Will dispute with credit card co. The table pads are not cheap - I am trying to keep my business in the USA, but will now have to find a different company.

I had a very pleasant experience. The phone rep was courteous and helpful and made sure I had measured the table correctly. He researched their records for my Gat Creek table and found that Berger had made a table pad for one just like it about 5 years earlier. The cost was reasonable and the wait time was less that three weeks. I got it in time for Thanksgiving. Thank goodness I didn't read all the negative reviews because I would not have used this company. I would have missed out on a job well done. Maybe this company is overwhelmed with orders and needs to increase their staff especially around the holidays because my table pad is perfect. My family complimented on the beauty and quality of the product. I'm glad they made it for me. No complaints just compliments.

I am not sure what everyone is complaining about. I ordered my custom table pad and was given a free rush and got them in time for Thanksgiving. They did arrive 3 inches too short. The agent that I worked with was amazing! We both got a chuckle out of the three inches and could not figure out who was responsible me or him. Regardless, i got NEW table pads ordered to the correct measurement for $78. which is the cost of the materials. Again was given a free rush and Fed-ex just notified me that they are on their way. This means the originals and the replacements arrived in the time that was quoted. I have NOTHING to say but wonderful things. Thank you Berger for a wonderful experience two times over. Oh and all of this occurred during the pandemic. Cudos Berger!
Well…things sure have changed since 2020 because I didn’t get what I ordered and they seem not to care. I call, leave messages and no response. Next stop is my credit card company.

Another terrible experience with this company
Another terrible experience with this company. Avoid ***. They misrepresented several items and gave me bogus information about their record keeping of previous orders. The 48" Table extender I recently purchased from *** was super cheap construction, took over 3 weeks to ship and was quite expensive, . It was made up of 4 pieces of wood and two pieces of Naugahyde and the magnets were useless. It completely fell apart with slightest touch on any edge. Could not possibly use it. I complained to them, they blamed me for the wrong ordering process even though I didn't ask for a refund, just requested they send me a prepaid shipping label so I could send it back to them. Maybe someone else could use it. They never called me back. I then found the company I had purchased several pads successfully from a few years ago (Heartland) and bought a 48" table extender from them. It is all one piece Naugahyde, was 1/2 the price from *** and had a one week ship date. Beautiful quality and it works.

Months after delivery, a guest noticed a flaw in the pad. We informed Rob, expecting a DIY repair solution. To our surprise, Rob arranged a free replacement pad, proving Bergers' exceptional service.

I ordered a custom table pad and a custom tablecloth on September 7, 2021. My table pad arrived approximately 2-3 weeks after ordering as indicated and the tablepad fits well. However, my tablecloth never came and I began contacting the company on September 27, 2021 to inquire about the tablecloth and also an invoice for my order which was never received. The *** was very kind and informed me that the pad and cloth ship from two different places and so my cloth would be forthcoming and that the rep I placed my order with, *** would be getting in touch with the invoice as he was the only one able to have access to me order. I spoke again on October 4 with *** and *** and no one was able to connect me with *** or obtain my order information. I was put in contact with ***, who was supposed to be a supervisor, and he also did nothing to get me an invoice or put me in contact with ***. I emailed and called and received no further assistance. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company for what my guess of the tablecloth price was.

Terrible experience with this company. I contacted this company and *** help me with my order. My first question was will they work on outdoor tables? I was assured that they would and she did not qualify that they would not work in the rain which is the sole reason I needed them which was to protect Granite tabletops. I guess she thought Id go out and fold them up before every rain. I ordered these in August and they arrived about 2-4 weeks later (they did not all arrive at the same time). I paid an additional fee to expedite the order but they were still late so they gave me a warranty.Since the warm season was coming to an end, I decided to not use them until May (since I cover them more substantially to keep the table tops dry thru winter. So I put them on in May and when we got our first rain, they were ruined. They absorbed the moisture and my table tops were continuously wet since the covers were water logged. When I called *** to report what happened, I was told they cannot be left outside (a little late for that), After calling back a few times over several weeks I finally got a note from ***, G M. He blamed me for the issue saying that I should have known they would not work outside all winter (which I did not do) which was an assumption. I responded back and he then told me I should have known that material would not hold *** in the rain (another assumption). I do not know how any business can survive with a blame the customer first attitude. He then offered to replace the covers which tells me he was not listening to me , the customer, since they will not work for my need. I then ask him if he had any kind of covering that would work as that would resolve the situation. Well that was July 30th and *** has not responded prompting this poor review.If *** would have only responded that they will work outside but not in the rain, I would not have placed this order and would not be out the $500.00 I paid for the ruined covers that are now sitting in my utility closet. But not only the loss of money, but I had to correspond with a G M that did his best to blame me and to make me feel like an idiot because I didnt understand the material they use in their business

I paid $349 on 2/22 for a pool table cover . It is now 4/17 and i have still not received product .i have called emailed and still nothing. I have asked to speak with a manager but they connect me to accountant Ryan,hes the problem. He asks me for measurements,color,and size but its all in the purchase order.it sounds fisshy to me. I want a refund now its been to long.

I ordered a product in January and paid for it . I have dozens of emails inquiring on delivery . Four months later have not received products. Have been told several times items have shipped and fedex would send tracking . Then told several time they have or shipped. Recently told 'the boss' Said Fedex is it shipping to Canada . I called Fedex that seems to be false . I have asked for a refund twice with no response . I guess it might be possible this company is no longer functional.

Ordered a Table pad with "Holiday Rush" service on December 9th. Paid extra for "holiday rush service" ($40) and expedited shipping (2nd Day shipping) Table pad was to be shipped by 12/21. Table pad was not shipped Mike Smith (sales associate) claimed item was "lost" when I called on the 22nd and 23rd, and that they would issue refund for shipping and rush fee's. On 12/28 I asked Mike to please send a remake table pad and that they would issue a refund for holiday rush fee Finally received replacement on 01/02 via Fedex ground service. Have yet to receive refund for "holiday rush fee" and expedited shipping fee's.

I purchased a table pad from this company which took much longer than anticipated
I purchased a table pad from this company which took much longer than anticipated. Ordered in beginning of January and received end of March. The table pad gets a blue stain on it if any warm container is placed on it. I spoke with Melissa about this and she claimed she had never heard of this problem, however, she suggested we use Liquid Gold furniture polish and suddenly the stain was removed. My wife tried to clean with soap and water and the wood grain pattern was smeared. I asked about a replacement pad and Melissa immediately told me they could ship one for $75.00. I refused the offer and said that they should replace for free as there website promises for all manufacturing defects.

On February 23, I ordered a table pad from this firm. On March 2, I ordered table cloths from this firm. I was told the pads would be made and delivered within 6-8 weeks. To date (5/15) I have received none of the goods. I made calls in April and May to try to find out what was wrong. I spoke with ***, who sold me the goods, and he stated that the pads were in production and the my table cloths would arrive "any day" but at least within one week. I the week of May 10, I called three times. Nobody would take my calls. I was forced to leave voicemail messages, and nobody has returned by calls. I called ***, who was represented to be a supervisor. He has not returned my calls. This is looking like a scam and a rip-off.

Next day salesman returned my call told him I ordered on line said to bad he could have made me a better price (same company I ordered on line) he told me I did not need trace pattern. This was paid for 1/29 $272.04. Called 5/7 due to not receiving top and was told not ordered due to trace kit not sent back. Explained I was told it was not necessary and then requested a refund. On Aug 28, 2020 I placed an order for a round extended table pad, paid $450 with Ashley Beavers. On Sept 11, Ashley told me it was still in transit. On Sept 14 I reached out again, telling Ashley Fed EX has no information on my delivery. Ashley told me Fed Ex lost my package and ordered a replacement. On Sept 15 item was found Ashley said I would have it Sept 15. Sept 16 package left, no notice given, Took pictures which I sent to Ashley. Box was totally destroyed, missing components, and both pieces of extenders were scrapped and cut. Ashley did a rush reorder, and Sept 25 she said it was in production, no news on date. Box arrived by Fed Ex, again was torn apart, driver apologetic said he tried to tape it back together, components missing, and IT ARRIVED IN SQUARE SHAPE AND I ORDERED ROUND SHAPE. MY TABLE IS ROUND AND COULD NOT USE SQUARE SHAPE. On Saturday, Oct 3, I wrote an email to Ashley which stated I was out of patience, could not use square pads, and was RESPECTFULLY REQUESTING A FULL REFUND. On October 5 I contacted ACCCOUNTS MANAGER RYAN SKIDMORE, as I did not get response from Ashely. Ryan told me he was sorry and he could not offer a full refund. He insisted he try to send one last time to make sure order is correct, and ship in 2 different containers. I again corresponded and requested a full refund, and wanted to speak to owner. Ryan told me owners were not there and could not be reached. He was not cooperative. I want nothing more from Bergers Table Pads except A FULL REFUND OF $450. THIS HAS BEEN A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME.
