I was excited to try this auction site. However, after spending $75 (it cost 75 cents for each bid!) and a whole day (from 10 a.m. to 6pm), I didn't even win one bid! Please DO NOT waste your time and money. This is an auction site for people who have the extra dough to throw away. If by chance you do win a bid, you most likely would have spent so much money buying the rights to bid at 75 cents per bid, you would be better off just buying the product yourself!

Bidcactus is a scam, there are only a few auctions running, and most everyone is bidding at the same time, chances are you are NOT going to win, meanwhile you are out the amount of money for bidding! Totally agree, BIDCACTUS is a SCAM

I wish I had read all of the comments before I got suckered into this site. I was actually searching a local site for a used washer & dryer set. I came across a really well rated set for a great price. There was no phone number, just and email address to reply to. So, I sent an email asking if the items were still available for purchase. I got a response from a Sharon saying that she just sold the washer & dryer but that she purchased them from biddycacts. I clicked on her link and it took me to bidcactus.com. So, I sign up and wham I am charged $79 for bids. I am not jumping up and down for joy about that, but oh well, I'm going to look for a washer & dryer for a great deal. I click on available auctions, and no appliances category. I use the limited search function and nothing. The only things I found were mostly electronics. So I try and reply to this Sharon and ask some questions about how she found washers & dryers on this auction site and low and behold my reply email was returned as "undeliverable". So, I now feel like an idiot for getting myself scammed. But, this cat's still got 8 lives in this battle, so my first step is to report this scam artist to the site she's advertising her fake products for sale. Second step is printing off all these comments I found on what a scam this action site is and getting my attorney involved. At the very least I want from freakin $79.00 back.

I was looking for a TV on Craigslist and saw and ad selling a brand new big screen TV of 69-inch was on sale for $200 describing nothing wrong with it. No phone number in the ad, only an email. I wrote to that email asking to see it. I didn't expect to see a response immediately because it was about 5 am in the morning. The response said that the TV was sold about 30 min ago and she, Sandy, told me that she got it at bidcactus. She said she got a lot of those TV and selling them cheap for extra cash. She told me to watch the auction and wait until the end to place the bid and I will win a lot. By clicking on the link she gave me, I was sucked in to paying $79 dollars immediately. I was very upset and went back to the email writing to the lady name Sandy again. I told her that what she did was deceitful and cheating. First, there was TV auction in the site after watching it for so long. Second, she lied by saying that the TV was sold but she never got a TV and no one would go to her house to buy a TV at 5am in the morning because the craigslist ad only listed minutes prior to my response to the ad. I am very sure that she didn't win any TV because there was no big screen TV auctioned at the site.

Because I got tricked with $79 already, I bid any way and the site let the first time bidder wins something such as extra bid points. Soon enough after two weeks on the site, I won a lot of things but I also spent about $3000 in bid points. I won about 20 trips, lots of ecoupons, eShopping cards, restaurants.com vouchers, eHotel cards, iPhone, IPad, Nintendo, etc. So I thought at least I still make money. Days after I won, I received so many eVoucher to redeem these cards, coupons, etc. It turned out that these eVouchers are completely USELESS. If I use them, I end up paying more for stuff even coupons. The eHotel, eShopping cards, I can only use maximum $25 even if I won $1000 worth of cards. So if I book a hotel, I can only use $25 for 1 time and pay the rooms with my own cash. Same thing with the shopping cards, I can only use $25 for each website that they listed and they only have 4 of them. The shipping & handling charges on these website are outrageous and if you order any item beyond $25, you have to use your cash and can't apply other eShopping cards that you have won.

Regarding the trips I won, I couldn't use any of them due to the restrictions and limitations. And again, you can only use or redeem it once. I won about 20 trips but I couldn't even use any of them. I gave these evouchers away and people couldn't even redeem them. It seems like your 20 trips I have won worth about $5000- $6000 but they are absolutely USELESS.

I also won an iPad, iPhone, Nintendo games and a few other physical things. As of today, it has been more than 2 months and I NEVER received any of them. I called and emailed them many times and Customer Support said that they apologize for the delay but they don't know when the shipment will be out. 2 months later, they will don't know. How can they not know? They can easily go to Apple Store and buy these and ship out.

Since I called about 4, 5 times to Customer Support, they didn't like me and they were rude to me. I realized something is not right and I started to google about BidCactus.com online. I read hundreds of complaints from people that they never received their $25 gift card. Oh my God! this site is a biggest scam ever. How can they not shipping out a gift card of $10, $25 from WalMart, Target, etc. They can easily go to these vendor websites, order the gift cards and send out to customers. They choose NOT to ship out. I stopped bidding for more 2 months now because I want to receive my items first but it's frustrating to see them still allowing people to bid on electrical items, physical items, jewelries, gift cards when they don't have these in stock and do NOT plan to ship them out.

They only email out the eVouchers days after winning and that's it. Again, all these vouchers are completely USELESS and you can get them for FREE or very cheap online without bidding. You can get thousands worth of coupons for FREE every day online without spending a penny on bidding.

This company is a SCAM. They use fake Craigslist ad to trick people to get to their site. They use so many fake ads and scam thousands of people already. Then people spend thousands on the site bidding and they never received the physically winning items.

Customer Support threatened to close your account if you call them too much asking where their items are.

There are people who won gift cards since January of 2013 and still haven't received them. All my items that I won in early and mid-June 2013 and I never received them either.

I think people should stop bidding and report to authorities and media to stop this company scamming people.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE.

I think you will see bidcactus disappear pretty soon. they aren't sending any items out at all. they are getting there bank roll padded so they can disappear. they are giving excuses and dragging people along as long as they can. I say go back to the credit card companies and ask for a refund you can get your money back for things you purchase and don't receive. if enough of you do this before they disappear they will be stopped. they will feal the hurt when credit card companies and paypal stop processing and sieze there bank accounts. so get out there and do it as fast as you can before the disappear for good. why should the sucker who trusted these crooks loose out all the time!

It's rubbish...I actually thought I was putting my payment details in so I could get ready for paying for something I won not so I could pay upfront...my mistake I know for not reading everything properly but I am new to the country and have a lot going on in getting set up for school and getting by day to day...I then tried to have a go at it and a couple of small items so that I might have a better chance and it seems IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN so an absolute WASTE OF MONEY and an even bigger WASTE OF TIME.

BEWARE I was lured to the site by someone from a regular buy in Craigslist...I missed out on the item and the seller generously offered information about where they got the item from and said it was easy and they had gotten 3 Apple Mini iPads and always won and shared their strategy...this seller changed their e-mail and name 3 times so in hindsight I now believe they are working with BIDCACTUS...

STAY AWAY unless of course your idea of fun is simply spending lots of time and money on cheap items like headsets and restaurant cards of around $20 and NOT WINNING the item!

BidCactus penny auction has failed to send the items that I have paid for and won on their website. The site clearly states that items won will be shipped within 15 business days from checkout. I have paid for the items with my credit card and have only received 3 of 155 items. I spent over $13, 750 on 155 items on BidCactus auctions this last year from May to Sept. of 2013(all were charged to my credit cards) I have only received Three (3)items. Over $1, 000 was for shipping and handling and I have only received Three (3) items. I have called and emailed and filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. I sent emails and letters to the home of their president Michael Staw.

I am a victim too. I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Paypal will not refund either (although they still process payments for Bidcactus). Karma, God's Judgement, whatever you want to call it - will eventually come around. Nothing happens that goes unnoticed. I tried to get my daughter an ipad for Christmas - Craigslist said that they just sold the one they offered but that they won theirs on Bidcactus. Why wouldn't I believe them? So like you - I invested (more than I should have) only to have multiple items in the pending status under fulfillment. They were quick to give bids won - but anything of value is still pending - as of Dec. 2013. Frustrating!
