A month has gone by since I ordered this, and since my payment was charged -- but still no product. WORSE, though, is that there is no number to call to get an answer about it, and the 'customer service' email they give you is useless because nobody ever responds. I've emailed them twice and it is as if my notes have gone into a black hole...

I'm thinking of trying IPL for these red blotches.

The mole is actually still there amidst the redness after the q tip treatment now that the second scab has fallen off. I am pissed right off. Sorry about jumping the gun.

Hello everyone! I thought maybe I could finally get a response to the e-mails I sent to Charlene if I mention it on this site. I noticed she has responded to some of your comments through this complaint board. I e-mailed her twice with some questions and only received the autoresponse each time. I am very interested in this product but none of my questions have been answered by her. It is very frustrating to keep checking your e-mail only to find that you never received anything from the company in months, except two auto responses. I am a very patient person when it comes to these things, but I don't have any more time to waste since I am very busy with life. I have never written a complaint on the internet before, but this is very important to me since I have pigmented spots on my face that I would love to remove. I would just really appreciate answers to my questions. Thank you everyone for the information you posted on this site. All of this information will be used in my decision making process concerning Blemish Free. I look forward to getting some answers soon from Charlene. Have a great day!

Michelle,

We have a public site which is can be accessed by anyone. We can not prevent people from viewing our site.
Our policy is not to sell to anyone under the age of 18. We require a credit card to order and most children do not have a credit card.
We can block people from ordering. Any parent who contacts us with the name on the credit card will have that card blocked and their children will not be able to order.
Interesting Michelle that you post on this complaint board a complaint that we have no control over. That is children reading our site. Why have you not contacted me directly? It seems your only motivation is to smear our good name.

Louis Matrone,

Our product does not scar. Five people have used our product and posted on this board that their blemish was removed with NO scar. You just have not healed yet. Some of our customers heal in ten days while others take a month or more. We tell all our customers this in our instructions. Please write to me directly for assistance blemishfree@hushmail.com

Sonja,

I have not received an email from you. It must be in our spam filter. I will write to you directly.

Michelle instead of ### about a complaint board where everyone has the right to say what they want about a product they have used, why don't start concerning yourself with more impotant pressing issues like the drugs some other kid may be selling to yours? If you havent tried this product leave us to our conversation and concern yourself with your own business.

Louis,

I have a lot of experience with scarring (well, on my own skin) as I tend to scar easily and generally take a long time to heal. It is not unusual for my scars to take up to 9 months to heal completely where they are blended with the surrounding skin. I know that is a long time but the upside is that scars do heal while moles can be getting worse in that same time.

Everyones skin type is different and responds best to different things, but since we are here I recommend an unscented lotion (I like Palmer's Fragrance-Free Cocoa Butter) and to avoid sun exposure. Moisturizing helps to promote skin cell turn over. Some light exfoliation is okay if the area is healed but just discolored, and this can help to remind the skin that healing still needs to be done. I would say to be careful with any kind of chemical since it could just irritate the skin and prolong healing. You obviously have scarring issues with your skin so just take it easy and give it time.

I was looking for info on Blemish-Free when I found this complaint board, as I am interested in ordering but have yet to try. I have to say that, although there are a great number of daunting stories I am actually more encouraged than anything else, even given my propensity for scarring. Knowing my skin I expect there to be a certain level of short term scarring but that is doable in comparison with these moles that seem to keep getting worse. I'll post here and let you all know how it goes.

9 months eh. Well I pray to god you're right. My red blotches are about an inch, parts of them are red and the parts that have faded the most are a kind light brown, but even if the whole blotch was light brown or gold it would still be a noticeable contrast from the rest of my white skin. I know it will fade more, but the burning question is will it blend in perefectly? I hope so, it's be 3 months now and I'm using mederma and aloe vera. It feels like it has been a lot longer.

Dear Charlene:

My name is Jesse Harrison. I would like to try your product, but unfortunately, cannot afford the additional expense in order to obtain it. After reading most of the comments from other users, it would appear that your company is in need of some positive PR.

I am a teacher by profession, and appearance is critical for what I do. I have several moles on my face and other areas of my body that I would like to remove. Dermatology procedures are financially out of the question at this time.

I would like to present a proposal to use your product, free of charge, in exchange for before and after pictures to demonstrate your products success.

I understand your reluctance to agree to my request, but I believe your product can work for me, I just can't afford the purchase price at this time.

Please consider my proposal, and let me help your company.

Sincerely,

Jesse Harrison

I tried this kit and I have to say its brilliant it removed my freckles and left minimal redness afterwards and its easily concealed! Well done blemish free! As for Michelle, what crawled up your ### and died? Why would you bother posting something so irrelevant on this page? I didn't realise Blemish free did a babysitting service its up to you to protect your kids and there are far darker things in the world to be worried about than freckle remover spray you idiot!

I was very skeptical, but BlemishFree is astounding. You need to follow the directions carefully (don't overspray) and be patient.
When I first sprayed and my sunspot area formed a rough callous, I went right to the dermatologist. She said not to worry-this is exactly what happens when she "freezes" skin problems in her office. She said it would heal. About a week later, it did, and the sunspot was gone, gone! I was beyond thrilled. Dermatology treatments are excessively expensive.
Thank-you forever, BlemishFree.
And please, if you don't like this product, watch your language. Everyone deserves basic dignity and respect. Thank-you.

Okay, received my package about one week after ordering. So far so good. I went ahead and followed the (confusing) directions and applied to two blemishes on my stomach. This is my test run. [Sorry Charlene, but between my boyfriend and my bikini, there is no such thing as an inconspicous spot to test.]

One blemish is a flat mole, the other is a raised mole. The flat mole turned black with surrounding skin turning brown/red. I'm hoping the spot will eventually (a few days) just flake off revealing pink skin.

The raised mole turned darker and became very swollen. Within 24 hours the raised mole began to ooze a clear liquid and fell back to normal size. So far the surface is scaly but it does not appear to be reducing further or flattening out. We'll see.

I followed directions for a 15 second application, only to read elsewhere that recomended treatment for raised moles is two 8 second treatments with a fifteen second wait in between. Other comments are right, the directions really need some work. Now, between the online directions and the brochure, I really don't know how long I am suppose to wait to retreat the raised mole. Conflicting directions advise anywhere between 2 and 10 days.

Hey everyone. I know it's been a long time since I've been posting on this board. I've been using Blemish Free on some flat moles on my legs. Now I know this stuff is ok with my skin because the redness and everything comes and goes within about 10 days. I'm having a problem with something else. With the moles I spray, they turn into something that looks and feels like a scab but they dont come off. the redness sticks around a bit more right around the mole but further away the redness goes away. So my question is can anyone who used this stuff give me some real directions and how to spray this stuff and for how long because the directions are a joke and dont know if im spraying long enough or properly. The way I understand it, you do two quick sprays and feel the tingling. now once I feel it do I spray intermittently every few seconds or do I keep the spray constant after that for the given time frame? Also if the sprays are intermittent, then how many sprays should I do and how long should every one last. If someone could help I'd appreciate it.

Justin, the instructions are horrible. They dont even agree within the same page AND even less w/ the website;

My scab didnt fall off only when I applied little spray, but then again when I applied it "like the instructions", that is, a quick 2 sprays-wait 2-3sec- 1x spray- wait 2-3sec and 1x spray; it left that wonderful red, now brown, SCAR

Its been like...5months or so I beleive (kinda gave up to keep timeline as the scars are still here even after several months and theres no sign of fading more now);

the scarring is still well visible, not to mention they're worse then moles in appearance
(no one ever asked me what my moles where, but everyone do ask 'whats that' upon seeing the scar)

If only local dermatologists removed the tiny moles :(

I need to clarify...we do not deliver the kits..the US Post Office does. We ship all kits within two days of receiving the order. I am sorry that in some cases it takes a couple of week to get your kits but there are added inspections due to the terrorist threats. We have no control over the delays.
Also, when we run out of our skin tag formula we substitute our regular formula. There is no difference between our skin tag formula and our regular formula when treating skin tags. But there is a difference when treating any other blemish.
I want to thank everyone for their favorable comments!

Davii,

We have all our customers test our product on their hips first to determine if they have a rare skin type that turns dark after freeze therapy and stays dark. This happens to about 2% of our customers. If your treatment is still dark after 5 months then you have this skin type. You should have healed by now. Please write to me at blemishfree@hushmail.com and I will send you a refund and tell you how to remove the dark area.

Charlene, You just said "please write to me at blemishfree@hushmail.com and I will send you a refund and tell you how to remove the dark area." Could you just tell us here on this bored how to remove the dark area. It seems that many of us have this 'rare' condition where the area remains dark many months afterward. If I never had this pigmentation I would be well on my way to having perfect skin by now. PLEASE PLEASE tell me what to do about the dark area.

Justin,

It is normal for your skin to be red and darker than the surrounding skin. You have frozen the blemished cells and now your body will cast them off and replace them with new cells. This healing process varies with skin type, age, immune system, etc.

Davii,

Please answer my question. It will not effect your refund. I need to know if you tested our product as the instruction tell you. If you test first and it turns our you have the rare skin type then we only have to deal with one small spot. Many people just take longer to heal than others and do not have this rare skin type.

Charlene

You say you know how to remove the dark areas if they're still around after 5 months. PLEASE let me know how I can do this my life depends on it.

Justin yes the moles are gone, the product does work. If your mole is blistered or scabbed then you can count on it being gone within a week. The burning question is if my skin tone will ever be even. So Charlene please tell me about how to achieve that with whatever it is that you know. If I do then I will gladly vouch for this product. Plus considering all the stuff I want to erase my skin I can see myself going through a number of bottles of blemish free but I will not buy another unless I know it has worked and my skin tone is even, it's fading but I have a worry about permanent pigmentation.

Louis,

A few of our customers have skin types that take longer to heal than others. And 2% have a rare skin type that turns dark after treatment and stays dark. We need to determine which is your case.
We have all our customers test our product on their hips first to make sure they don't have the rare skin type. If they do we refund their money and they never treat their faces. Dermatologist face exactly the same problem. You just don't know a persons skin type.
Please tell me...did you test our product on your hip first?

Missdrd23 has posted her opinion about our web site and product. Please note this is only her opinon, she has never tried our product. You have to wonder why anyone would take the time to post a negative comment about a product and web site when they have never actually used the product? This is supposed to be a complaint board and not a place to post malicious opinions.

sorry for my late reply;

As explained in the email, yes I did test the product on my hip as suggested on the enclosed leaflet;

However, spraying once as a test is not as strong as the usual 'dosage' of spray to remove a mole.
The test on hip did fade away, whilst the final spray on the bicep did not blend/fade.

To say everything, the mole DID peel off and there's sort of a dot in its place; so this product does remove moles, however the final result is not aesthetically pleasing as already described earlier, due to the darker patches where sprayed.

Davii,

You are from Malta. People from that area are know to have the rare skin type. Only 2% of all our customers have this problem. This is why we have everyone test our product on their hips first. If they do have the rare skin type then they only have to deal with on small spot which can be removed.

Hi everyone, i am starting to have alot more freckles lately due to summer hot days.I've been checking out this product for some time now, but scared of the outcome when put on face.I was wondering, how does it work with the face when there is so much freckles, is it a must to spray small part at a time? And also, does the pigmentation/freckles come back when removed and healed? Please, anyone who have actually removed freckles please let me know and give me more basic info of how to use it.Demonstration would be very helpful! Many thanks

Sam I recall there was a user who managed to remove freckles; I suggest you quick read through previous post to know the approach and have a better idea

(i remember in the instructions they suggest to spray the whole w/out the tube if there is a large area, but most likely on shoulders not on the face...)

Louis I wrote to you and told you how to remove the dark spots. You must have the rare skin type because 98% of all our customers heal withing two weeks. This is why we have our customer test our product on their hips FIRST. This way you only have to remove one dark spot.
