I signed up for a yearly subscription in July 18 2024[around $150]; after using it for almost a month and am happy with it, I upgraded[around$50] on August 16 2024. I was charged a fee of around $200 and was told that the about $137 unused credit would be refunded to me. After several days, the money was not refunded, so I reported the problem to Apple and wrote in detail that I never received a partial refund. On Aug 21, 2024, I got the full $200 refund, and my subscription was canceled altogether [including the rough estimated $137 remaining credit]. I think Boldvoice's subscription practice is questionable because it can simply charge the difference between the upgrades instead of forcing the customer to pay for the full yearly upgraded subscription, making the transaction easier. Also, the fact that the $137 refund was not issued immediately and even got wiped out entirely made me lose faith in this company and its officers! I have browsed other complaints, and it seems I am not the only one who encountered this issue; this is a serious problem; please fix it immediately!
Desired outcome: Either a full refund or return my subscription free upgrade for the time I lost because of the billing practice(s)

BoldVoice, your subscription practices are raising more red flags than anything else. Charging a full fee for an upgrade instead of just the difference is frustrating enough, but when the promised refund of $137 didn’t materialize and then got wiped out entirely, it’s no wonder customers like this one are losing trust. It’s not just about the money — it’s about doing right by your users. Fixing this issue promptly and transparently is essential if you want to regain any credibility.
