I ain't gonna order from Breck's Gifts no more. I done ordered from them a bunch of times before, but this time was a real mess. I put in my order on April 15 for Mother's Day, and my daughter still ain't got it. And they went ahead and charged my credit card, too. So watch out if you're thinking of buying from them.

Their customer servis is a joke! What a scam. Never ordering from there again. They shipped a ded amaryllis to my daughter in law and want me to pay the postage for the replacement. The replacement certificate number they sent doesn't work, so now no gift. Can't get ahold of a real person. DONT ORDER FROM THEM! And they don't ship to Idaho--how lame is that! They did last year. I would give NO stars.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star. I ordered something for Christmas and it was a disaster. Their bulb gardens looked nice so I thought I would place an order on March 15, for my Mom's 98th birthday on Easter. It still hasn't been sent. Customer Service can only say it's in "processing," but it hasn't shipped. When I asked to cancel, they said no. At least this customer service agent seemed to know some English, the others didn't. When I asked to speak with her supervisor, she couldn't/wouldn't connect me. I'll never order from them again.

I can say the same thing as Gregory below. This company charged me for shipping a package via ***, which I ordered on 11/28. They sent it to *** on 12/1. Since then it has traveled the country and finally landed in Sacramento with "no scheduled delivery date." When I check *** tracking each day it tells me a date when it will be delivered, then no delivery, and I'm back to "no scheduled delivery." This happened again today - and daily. When you call Breck's you get someone at home in Asia who doesn't know a thing and can't be of assistance. They tell me only I am authorized to track the package with ***. When I call *** I'm told there's no guaranteed delivery date and I may receive it "in two days or two weeks - not guaranteed." These are Christmas gifts and there is no telling if I will ever receive them and nobody will give me information on how to rectify. I would do no stars but I have to pick one to submit this review.

This biz is the worst! Got a gift card for my bday in Nov last year. Friend ordered it 3 wks before my bday, but it came a week late. Ordered 3 amaryllises, one came, but they said the other 2 will come in Oct 2021. Fine, I'll wait. Then on Mar 25, got a check for $2.02 and a note saying they don't have the other amaryllises. Called billing and the lady said the gift card is back on my acct. Tried to order, but it wasn't true. Guy said to call back in a few days. Called again, and they only put $20.02 back on the card. Plus, gotta pay shipping again. They don't have much to choose from anyway. Terrible company, terrible service. Won't do biz with them again. Be careful! Other places sell amaryllises and garden gifts.

This is it for me with Breck's Gifts. All my orders this year have been a mess. They can't seem to get it together, and they don't communicate well. Let me tell you about my latest experience. Brecks Gifts said there were shipping delays, but it's their own fault. They told me on 12/7 that my order had shipped, and the tracking said I'd get it on 12/8 between 11:30 and 2:20. But it didn't come. Then on 12/9, it said it was coming today. I checked the transit, and it was all over the place. It went 193 miles in the wrong direction before coming back to my town. It's like they don't care about wasting gas or delaying packages. Breck's chose the cheapest and worst shipping service just to offer free shipping. Why would they do that? They're not doing right by their customers. This is the third time they've messed up, and they won't do anything to fix it. They don't care. Don't trust Breck's Gifts.

I called customer service and they said only 1 was shipped because they were out of stock. I asked why they charged me for 2 and said 2 were shipped. He said he'd give me a store credit for the missing item. I wanted a refund but he said no. I asked for a manager but he said he was it. I hung up and called back. New person, same story. They wouldn't refund my money. They stole from me. Took my money for an item they knew was out of stock, then tried to keep my money and offer store credit. That's how they stay in business. Charge people's cards for items you don't ship then offer a credit you hope they don't use.

I bought some tulip bulbs from Breck's Gifts on 8/8. My account number is *** and my order number is ***. They were sent through Fed Ex Smartpost and I paid $44.61 for them. But, I still haven't received them yet. They got to the Fed Ex place in *** IL on 10/06, but they never got sent to the post office for delivery. I tried to talk to Breck's 3 times to get this sorted out. The first time I talked to them, they said I had to wait until 10/14 to ask for a new order or my money back. So, I waited until 10/14 and called them to ask for my money back. But, the person on the phone said I might not get my money back and that I had to talk to the post office myself to find out where my bulbs were. I sent them another email, but they didn't answer me. This is not okay. It's their job to make sure I get my stuff, not mine.

I ordered some Christmas gifts for my mom who's in hospice on Nov 15th from Breck's Gifts. I chose to ship ASAP and got an Order Confirmation with a ship date of Nov 16th to Nov. 21st. I ordered a live Christmas tree with lights and decorations and also a four month Bulb Garden of the month club. I was hoping to get them by Thanksgiving so my mom could enjoy them during the holidays and hopefully bloom in time for her to enjoy it. But nothing showed up by Thanksgiving, so I called customer service. They said I would have the items by Dec 13th at the latest, but didn't mention any issue with the items. On Dec. 14th, I called again since nothing had arrived. They told me the Christmas tree was now out of stock and cancelled, but the first of the flowers would ship the next day. I was never notified of the cancellation or that there was a problem. Later that day, I got an email that my flower order was also cancelled because it was out of stock. Both of these items were ordered a month earlier before any type of Black Friday rush. It is far too late to order anything like these gifts and they are now sold out everywhere. My mom loves flowers, and I ordered these early so she could enjoy them and share a little joy in these trying times. She contracted COVID on the 18th of November and is still fighting to recover. I was really hoping to get these gifts to her to help brighten her life. I don't understand why Breck's Gifts doesn't care about returning customers and cancels orders one month later without warning or notification. My family and I have ordered from other companies in the past, but I have recently unsubscribed from all emails and will just trash any catalogs that are mailed to me. I've told multiple people about my experience, and they are horrified and would never place an order with Breck's Gifts or any affiliated companies. It's a terrible way to treat customers, and people should be warned to avoid these businesses.
