They advertise a "Free Sample". What is in the fine print is that this "Free Sample" will cost you $6.00 in shipping and handling (the initial charge) and another $69.95 after 14 days if you do not cancel your subscription. Oh yes, you are automatically subscribed to a renewal and your credit card is billed. The second charge of $69.95 will be refunded (so I am told) once they receive the un-opened bottle. However, the first $69.95 is gone. So, unless you carefully read the fine print of the offer this "Free Sample" will cost you $75.00. Definitely not worth it and I think a VERY deceptive way to offload a product which does NOTHING!

After ordering a FREE trial of Bromalite, I was charged to my debit card not once but TWICE for product I DID NOT ORDER or authorize. And, I never even received any more product even after the first charge. I contacted the phone # on the website. After a long wait and a heated conversation with ADAM, I was told all charges were to be refunded within 12 days. CONSUMER BEWARE...Also, this product DID NOT WORK for me. It's a scam!

As soon as I cancelled my account after they took out $69.95 without any notice they immediately hit me for another $69.95. Bunch of stinking crooks.
Stay away from these ###.

On 12/4/08 I got a trial bottle of Bromolite through a food network website they were advertising on their sit. I never placed any other order the next thing I know I am being told I signed up for some fitness program, which I did not. Now they have taked 69.95 from my banking account. My bank and I have tried the number and it keeps saying there is a wait time and to go to veryyourorder.com when going to this there is no website?

I ordered a free trial paid the shipping and received product. Without a reorder on
my part, I was billed $74., twice in a month and did not receive the product. I have tried to contact the company but was on hold forever..there is no company address and the webpage doesn't allow you to email them.

My credit card was charged for numerous outside fitness companies or programs after signing up for a "free trial." I have made attempts to cancel my order and any future dealings with Bromalite, however the verifymyorder.com web site Bromolite would like you to use, is not a working web site. I have tried calling numerous times and am placed on infinate hold every time.

I asked for a sample of their product that was offered on the internet. They took $69.95 out of my acct 3 times in one month. I tried to call for days and they say they are too busy to take my calls.at [protected]. I sent the product back and do not owe them a penny. I will be seeing my attorney tomorrow and I will NEVER order the internet again.

I have had unauthorized charges from three different companies to my account. I have tried to call and cancel there are various numbers that show up on my bankstatement, I have yet been able to speak with anyone. I have tried to cancel all of my accounts, charges are still going through, and their all inconsistant amounts being charged.

This company charged me 69.95 to my account without me authorizing. All I wanted was a free trial that they say you only pay 4.95 for shipping and handling. I did receive the free trial but a couple of weeks later there is a charge to my bank account. I will be taking this further even if it takes it all the way to the FEDS... This is a scam, I just called the company and a lady answered saying to call her back in a hour that her system was down...

I signed up for a free trial of bromolite and was followed by an unauthorized charge of $69.95 to my credit card. I will know to check out this complaints website before any future similiar situations as it is near impossible to get the charge removed. My only alternative is to cancel my credit card with my bank. Sadly Oprah Winfrey supports this product but is she aware of the scam that goes with it?

One day I received a package in the mail, I opened it and it was a product called Bromalite, which is a colon cleanser; while I have been on some diet sites, I did not sign up for this stuff. They have my credit card number and every month I get a charge of $74.85 for product I have not received except for the one months ago and I have to call and dispute the charge; they use a company called reg.net to do their web billing which has other companies I have used in the past to issue the charge on my credit card and it is listed as software. This is fraud. I have my credit card company looking into revoking the vendor rights but for now, every month I have to dispute the charge.

I have called both phone numbers listed in the tiny fine print on their sight and both are out of service numbers.

If you shop on line or visit diet sights, check you credit card statements closely.

Recently applied online for a colon cleanser product by Bromalite
was to only pay s&h for $4.95 as a trial purchase. As I was checking
my account I noticed an additional charge of $34.95 and was highly
offended. Tried several times to contact customer service only to be
told repeatedly that their computers were down at the time. Finally,
I was able to receive a liver customer service representative and informed them that I wanted all products attached cancelled and
not to further charges my account for anything. Also the trial order
that was supposedly purchased I have not received yet.. It has been
just about two weeks. How can these people take what does not belong
to them. I wanted to gain good health and loose toxins from my body,
not gain a thief and loose finances.

It's not until AFTER you order the free trial for $4.95 that YOU, yourself have to look into the terms and agreement. I called and submitted an online request for cancellation within the "3-days" stated to cancel the trial offer. I have yet to recieve a call back or be credited. This transaction was on 12/30. Then on 12/30 I was also charged $34.95 from a place called "WuYi Pixie Tea." Did anyone else get charged from this place after ordering from Bromalite? I've never heard of this place nor less ordered anything from them. I've tried calling countless of times holding on for up to 90 minutes - either to be disconnected or I just have chosen the option to leave a voice mail msg for a cs rep to call back. No one has called back and I have not been credited a penny from either place. Then as luck would have it I have yet another charge from an unknown company - 1/20/09 $29.95 from fit-fac.com? THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.

Hello All,

Yes it is imperative that you read the fine print with this company. Essentially you have 15 days to cancel to be on the safe side at [protected], in addition the company automatically enrolls you in a Fit factory on-line program for an additional monthly charge of 19.95. Again you will need to cancel immediately to avoid charges, and Yes this is a different company and they can be contacted at [protected]. Please write down the cancellation number and employees name that assisted you as well as the date. This is a total scam and should be removed from the market. Remember the old saying, " If it sounds to good to true, it is". Good Luck

Bromalite charged my bank card twice without my knowledge or permission. I signed up for their free 30 day sample and used my card to pay for $4.99 shipping. I never received the sample, but the money was charged for the shipping, and so I called them and they said I was not in their system and they couldn't help me and hung up on me. The bank got my shipping charges back for me. Then a week later, I saw two more charges for 87.00 and 89.00 on my account, and another charge pending. I have not ordered anything else from this company. I called the bank and the bank said a lot of other people are having the same unauthorized charges on their accounts from this company. I had to have my card replaced and overage charges removed.

I went on bromalite.com for the, so-called 'free trial' offer. Well, over 2 weeks l;ate I was charged $69.95 to my bank account. Their web page is very misleading! All of this information is written on the bottom of their page. It is sooo small, you need a magnifying glass to read it. All I want is my $69.95 back.

I ordered a free supply of Bromalite for $4.95 shipping & handling. At no place in the order or the receipt received was there any information about a $69.95 charge for the supply if I did not cancel within 14 days. They charged me and now I am having to argue with the cc company about the charge as Bromalite refuses to refund the money.

That's not the case at all. Bromalite is constantly busy dealing with people who are trying to get a product for free and then complaining when they didn't read the terms and conditions. You can't blame a company that's trying to make money.

I do agree with you that it's a ripoff, but not a scam. If you people want to lose weight, diet and exercise, if you want to "cleanse your colon", go to a doctor.

You don't' have to follow those steps, Bromalite could care less if the call is being recorded, they are NOT responsible for refunding you your money, it's a courtesy! YOU signed a legal contract and it's NOT the customer service representitive's problem that you all don't read what you sign!

Ordered trial of Bromalite on 1/29/09 and found out about the scam on Feb.1. Of course the amount of 4.95 shipping has been drafted and also a charge of 34.95. I have yet to receive the product and when or if I do I am returning it immediately. I have blocked by credit card and ordered a new one. My bank is helping take care of the unauthorized charges. I also went to the Bromolite website (because when I called 41 people were waiting ahead of my call)and when I went to cancel a representative of the company popped up in an instant message box and started a conversation with me. I told her I wanted to cancel and she said my account was cancelled. I have printed out the conversation with her. I have also went to www.verifyyourorder.com and it says my order has been cancelled.

So, hopefully, blocking or cancelling my credit card at my bank will take care of any further transactions. I'm very thankful that I decided to look further into this product three days after ordering it.

I would like to see some action taken towards this company. There are definitely enough people reporting the scam. I am keeping my records and am going to see how further action could be taken on this.

I had no problem getting a refund from this company. They were actually quite nice and agreeable. I didn't understand what I was signing up for when I requested the "free sample", and when I explained that to them, they immediately cancelled my membership and refunded my money.
