unprofessional behaviour
I went shopping at Burberry in yorkdale. I noticed there was a Burberry sales male and Asian which I believe was vietnames. He starred down head to toe most of the female customers that came in and I not only experience myself, but also observed it happen to other customers as well. He would try to have as much touch contact as possible with the customer which made me extremly uncomfortable. I think this behaviour is extremely wrong espeacially opposite sex, but still inappropriate if same sex.

Hi I purchased two original Burberry Wellington boots from the online store. I have never worn my boots, was hoping to wear them for my ski trip end of the year.
However, I have noticed that the colour of the boots have changed. After paying a fortune on these boots I am so appalled by the quality.
I will no longer be purchasing from your brand again. It looks atrocious and cheap. I am such a dissatisfied customer.

my name is Maryan, and I'm UAE resident. I have 2 concerns.
1- On March 2017, I visited Canada outlets and I bought from Burberry outlet store some items, and from these items there are two men shirts I bought them for my husband, however when U returned to Dubai, I discovered that those don't fit him.
2- by end of March 2017, I bought from Burberry storè at Istanbul Duty free one bag as a gift for my sister, unfortunately she didn't like.
* I tried to return or exchange these items from Dubai Burberry outlet store and from Burberry regular stores. With period less than 14 days of purchasing date, and It didn't work. The staff said we could n't exchange items outside UAE.
*Now I'm In USA, as I know that most of brands in US accept exchange any items with their receipts and their tags that where purchased from any other country. I exchanged some items for Tory Burch, Sun glasses hut, Levi's which I got from different countries, I exchanged them in US stores, because US respects customer rights. Yesterday 30/7/2017 I went to Burberry outlet of Saw grass Mills and it was the worst time for me ever. From the time the staff saw me entering the store with a shopping bag from Burberry, they realised that I will exchange some thing. They started to come and annoy me one following the other; from where u got this item, we are not accepting of you got from storè not from outlet, then I chosed one bag to exchange it with the one I have, they said firstly, that this bag doesn't have a strap and they will try to match any strap of storè with it. I said how it comes ! Then I tried to check another thing. At the end there is a lady that came to me telling sorry, especially from Cänada storè we could accept the return. I told her why especially cänada! Then I told her okey I have another item from Istanbul airport, she sad no also we are not exchanging from our side USA. Actually I felt very upset as the way all the staff dealt me was very depressing. They were very irritant from my presence in the store, they tried to reject any other option of exchanging.
* My question here, If I already experienced same day another polite way at Tury Bursh as they exchanged an item I bought from Cänada, very smoothly, with no hectic debates. What will be my feeling towards Burberry staff, who should be better in serving people, especially because it is higher brand that other. At least staff should know how to deal with Burberry customers who are Elite individuals.
* Now I need to know, If I want to exchange these items, I have to travel to Canada and Istanbul airport to exchange! I need a clear direction from a brand supposed to be one of the top brands.
I attached copies of all receipts and all staff are untouched with their tags. From where shall I exchange them.
I will stay until 29th July then I will return to Dubai.

staff attitude and strange policy for not being actual passport to claim duty free

Dear sir and madam,
I shopped and purchased goods in Tod's / Givenchy / D&G and Long-champ shop... I didn't bring my actual passport but I have the copied in my handphone... all the above shops allowed me to submit duty free claims without any hassle.
I went into your Burberry shop.. saw an sling bag and without 2nd thoughts I went to cash counter to make payment. The assistant was rude and aburds about me not having the actual passport book, and will not allowed me to use copied photo passport... I ask why!? She claimed it's illegal and it might be a cheat! I even showed her My Singapore identification card... she insisted it was not allowed as per above saying. I said well., fine.. In the end., I was amazed but to walk out your shop. Whilst i met another assistant near the entrance and politely ask for suggestion form... she immediately brushed me off and walk away!
This is totally unacceptable with such proclaimed one of top brands of United Kingdom. I shop in UK or HK and Singapore :.. I have not met any kind of this ridiculous staff attitude.
If your shop declines any shoppers without actual physical passport:; why not put up a sign on your entrance! are your staff been trained properly as well? Why she said is illegal and maybe a cheat? I totally disgusted by the unfound claims.
Lastly., I really would like to know the truth... why your staff said is illegal to use physical passport copy to claim duty free? 2ndly... why she said it might be a cheat? That's not right to use the word " Cheat"!
Anyway international., your brand is not the only one! Thanks for the above and i never will step into your shop again!

the picture on official website doesn't match the object
I ordered this product on Burberry's official website on May 29th.
And I found that the product on website doesn't match the one I got. The only difference is that the color of the border on website is pink but what I got is black. I can't understand how it happened. Is this a cheating behavior? I have no idea. They told me that I can return it. But I really feel uncomfortable about this.

In 2015 I bought a Burberry black trench coat in London and only wear it infrequently as I live in Hong Kong and the weather is mild. However the coat colour started to wear out and now I am starting to see brown stains on it. I was told by the official Burberry dry cleaning Center that this is colour fading which is a common issue for the materials used by trench clothes but neither the shop or dry cleaning Center is willing to help me fix the issue. I am very disappointed with this because the coat costs gbp2000 and despite careful use the colour would fade so seriously. I can't understand why Burberry staff is so unhelpful for after sales services.
orchard handbag
In May 2015, I bought myself a SG$2644 Orchard Handbag from the Burberry shop at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore to reward myself on graduating from my MBA. Something I had to save for for a long time.
A year on and the bag has lost its shape. and you can clearly see there are air bubble between the fabric and the inner which is causing the defect. I haven't used my bag much as I saw this happening early on...
I contacted customer service with photos and explanation. I spoke to Eunice Lee who was very nice and Miranda Chan in Singapore.
Being now back in New Zealand, there are no shops here I can take my bag to for inspection. So I asked that they gave me some sort of monetary compensation towards one their wallet.
They come back to me saying it was wear and tear, there was nothing they could do for me. Even worst, Miranda Chan emailed customer service with a warning I was after compensation.
What a joke!
burberry wool cashmere trench coat model [protected]
My husband bought me a wool Burberry coat for my birthday.I wore it very lightly for less than a year and the inner lining shredded on both shoulders, down the arms, at the back of the coat, and both pockets.
On top of all of that the outer coat split in the shoulder as well. I contacted the head office straight away and they asked me to bring it to their flagship store to take a look at it. They kept the coat for almost 2 weeks before calling us and telling me it was normal "Wear and Tear" and a new lining would be $250. I went back to the head office and asked them to cover the repair considering the damage and how long I've had it ect.
They flat out refused. The irony of the whole thing is that when I picked my coat back up with no repairs done, They had it nicely packaged in a garment bag and wrapped in a heavy duty bag with a bow. Like maybe you should spend less on packaging and more on customer service. Felt like a final slap in the face.
I will post photos, but note that I have done some repairs myself, you can still see the damage where I have stitched it back up.I repaired the shoulder as well.

Ordered a pair of shoes for my girlfriend at first Christmas Day. Chose for the faster express shipping with extra costs of 20 euros. Now at 27 December after Christmas the package is still waiting to be shipped. At 30 December I will be abroad so if it's not there she can't wear it at ny eve.
I've sent a message to customer care. No reaction.. I had to call to find out that they will ship out tomorrow with a big chance that we will miss the package. Problably no shoes before new year, no refund on the fast shipping and even longer waiting since we will miss the package at the 30th.

Burberry.com customer service is terrible. Just called to complain about a missing item and Kevin the customer service agent who picked up seemed to forget that he works in customer service and spent the whole time being defensive and condescending. I'm thinking about legal action.
quality issue of bag
I blouse chased a bag from them which the leather had quality issue.I didn't use the bag that many times and the edges of the bag strayed to peeling off.i contacted them they said take it to Store I went to their Santa Monica branch after many times changing their words very rudely they said you can't exchange we just can send it for repair.the manager Eunice Lee when I was talking to her cut me and without apologizing answered the phone who was on the phone their employe who told me I can exchange and the made up and said no you can't .Horrible customer service, rude and unprofessional staffs. Your company is alive with the money that people like me spending on your merchandise.

Today i visited the burberry store branch in Paragon, Singapore to purchase a set of parfume but then i felt really offended by the customer service. The lady that serves me are offering me a My Burberry Gift Edition Eau de Parfum with lots of benefits. Then i decided to buy it with $140 by believing them that they will put every goods in the plastic bag. When i got home, i checked everything and i realize all the benefits that she told me before is not there. The next day, i decided to visit Burberry store again to get what I supposed to get, the girl that serves me yesterday acted like she had gave me everything and she dont believe me what i've said. When i insisted, then her face looks very unhappy and talking behind with her friends talking chinese which i dont understand. I am truly disappointed with this bad service and that "lady" attitude.

I purchased a pair of rain boots and sneakers online. When I received them, they did not fit so I immediately called customer service so I can receive a label to ship it back to them. It has been over 3 weeks now and no label. I have called customer service about 4 separate occasions and spoke to 4 different customer service reps and they keep assuring me that it should be arriving soon they also assured me that when I do receive the label and when it does arrive back to the warehouse that it won't be denied the return but reading some of these complaints I am quite worried now. DO not purchase anything online unless you absolutely know you love it and/or they will fit. This whole process is such a headache!

Their cool line of motorcycle brit leather jackets bleed black and ruined multiple nice shirts in my closet. This occurred at both price points for the newer and older models. The product is defective and met with defensive customer service. I guess I got lucky with one rep who sent my stuff out for dry cleaning. Some items were fixed and some damaged...

But managed told me that when the bag was returned did not meet the return policy. I did not understand why she said it. so when they returned the bag to me I called them to see why she refused it. They told me the bag has scratch and an item inside the bag. So I checked inside the zipper bag there was a condom. Can you believe it. I was quite upset. I was apalled. Told them I returned it the way I found it. Did not even check the inside. And then they said it has a scratch on it. When I returned the tagged was still intact. They refuse to exchange or issue me a refund saying that their items are inspected before they are shipped. Obviously it was not. From the other complaints in this board they do not inspect their items. BEWARE

I purchased scarf and hat at Burberry online store.
When I got shipment, the scarf was not what I expected, and the hat was too big, so I returned them the day I got shipment.
I did not even try the scarf because the length and the material weren't what I thought.
After I returned, I was waiting for credit back. I had not received any email or contact.
When I checked my bank account, I just noticed I only got the credit back for the hat.
And, I emailed them and asked if they did refund separately.
They replied if I put them a same box or not. Of course yes! I made the same as the way they box.
I had chat with one of Burberry associates, and she was going to put investigate.
After days, I got email from them, and they said it was found in there warehouse, but the scarf was not original condition, damaged and etc.. and they shipped it back to me. No return available.
They did not even know that I returned the scarf with the hat until I asked.
I never tried it.
I've often shopped at Burberry.com recently, but this is really upset situation.
Why should I pay for what someone or the Burberry damaged?
Do not buy from Burberry online. They do not inspect their item when they ship it to u. And then when u return it they ACCUSE you for the scratch the was already there when they sent it.
Called customer service and confirmed brand new pants/shirts could be returned. They said yes and sent it to Burberry. They refused the return saying it is past one month.
They may not have known you returned the scarf with the hat but once they saw the scarf was warn and damaged they had every right to return it back to you. The real reason for this complaint is you tried to cheat them and they would not let you. Same with you Majl you tried to return a defective product and are angry you could not cheat them. You damaged the purse, it was not them not inspecting the product. Instead of leaving the condom in the purse you should use it so you cannot reproduce.

diaper bag
I am writing this complaint about an experience I had with the Burberry Flagship on Madison Ave and 57th street in NY. After one year of use, I brought in a diaper bag to have the strap fixed as the buckle which connected the strap to the bag had torn. There was also a strange peeling of the material the bag was made with. I spoke to an associate who informed me that the strap could be fixed, however the peeling was unrepairable. Therefore I had the strap fixed, but left the peeling alone. About 8 months later the same issue with the strap reoccured. I brought the bag back to the Burberry store, and a sales associate informed me that I had two options. I could have the bag fixed again, but this time when I showed her the peeling, she told me that all of this style of diaper bag had a defect in the materials, and she could offer me a store credit for the purchase price. If the original purchase could not be found the best they could do was offer me the lowest selling price of the bag. The diaper bag was given to my wife and I as a gift, so I told them to look up the lowest price, and call to let me know while I found out who gave us the bag. When the store called, I was informed that they could offer me a 300 store credit (the lowest priced diaper bag is about 1000) and that it lo longer mattered if they could find the original sale. I was also informed that since the bag had broken twice in less than a year, they were not comfortable fixing it again, so I had two choices, either take there offer (of about 1/3rd of the cost of the bag, I found out the original sale was about 900) or take my defective broken bag back. I could not believe that a store such as Burberry after having told me that the diaper bag was defective would no longer offer the help THEY originally offered. Further they told me that they were doing me a favor offering me the $300. Some favor! My wife and I have purchased numerous of their products (my 2 year old daughter has a burberry jacket she wears to pre school, my wife likewise wears a Burberry coat, and has a Burberry handbag) and have never had a problem, but after the way I was treated I will be thinking twice before ever buying another one of their products.

My wife has bought a hand bag worth $1000 3 weeks back.A week later it got damaged because the leather holding the strap was so weak.We were in London and so took the bag to their shop in Knightsbridge.They asked us to take it with the receipt which we didn't have then to the Dubai store and it should be exchanged there.
My wife has done just that and the lady in the Dubai mall shop told her yes it will be exchanged.But because they didn't have that particular bag she asked her to collect it from the other Burberry branch at the Mall of the Emirates.Yesterday, during the day my wife went there and the sales girl told her yes your bag is here, but if you want you can even choose a different one.So my wife said OK I will come back later.Late night yesterday we went there, But when we tried to confirm it, they started changing the story.And they said we have to get approval from London.
Finally, my wife went back to the Dubai mall shop and the very capable and nice lady there who is French kept her word and offered to change the bag or refund the money.
It is just because of the bad experience we had last night that my wife decided to get the refund.

Was rerouted to several different websites without a live McAfee link and a very old verification date: They did not respond with the website that I ordered from and instead sent me on a wild goose chase with invalid sites to "Track" my shipment. this is a message that I sent them.
Where do I find the shipping tracking? This is clearly a fraudulent website and you are a Chinese domain that was recently created. I will report this fraud to US and International law enforcement agencies that deal with online fraud and have contacted my credit card company to advise them of this fraud. Unless you can get a tracking a website to track the purchased items progress - immediately these actions will be completed. and further reports will be made about hacking and tracking my personal information for Identity Fraud - including reporting this website to FraudAlert and my credit reporting agency. A full refund is requested at this time for me to stop this action. My husband is Chinese and is related to 3 attorney's currently located there.

Its customer service makes me feel very disappointed. Burberry is known as the famous beautiful coats in the world and it has a long stand in the fashion industry. Long stand in the fashion industry which also means it has a lot of experience in the customer service. However, last couple weeks, I came to the store on the Spring street, Manhattan to ask if they had the LIGHTWEIGHT DOWN-FILLED FUR TRIM JACKET in store. They said they had it in Madison, Uptown Manhattan. The lady was really nice; she gave a call to that store to check if they actually had it in store and she said she did not want me to waste a trip to go up there without the coat in hold. I was pleaded at first. Then she gave me a number of the lady in the Madison store. On the same day, I gave a call to a lady in the Madison store to tell her to hold the coat. She said she would call me back when she had it. Yes, calling me back my ###! It has been two weeks, I had not received a phone call and when I called her back yesterday, there was a gentlemen said SHE IS IN VACATION. I am going to leave NY in a week or two that is why I'm in rush. Also, does she think wasting other person time is a great strategy to get customers attention? She may right about and she gets a complaint from me.
So the gentlemen who was in charge for her said he could help me about the situation. Guess what! They just ended up the same drama; after giving all the information and my phone number, he said he will call me back a moment later. Yeah his moment later was never. Again, we have been purchasing many coats, handbags, shirts and belts from this company; in other countries the customer service are very fast and promising. But I had to admit that customer service in the Madison, New York is a broken-promise customer service.
During the month of December it just happened to be raining instead of snowing in Chicago. Before heading out to do a little Christmas shopping, I grabbed my Burberry umbrella. When I walked out of my building to head down Michigan Avenue, I noticed that my umbrella had a missing piece. I thought in my head, no problem, I will just take it to the new Burberry store and get it repaired. It would be my first visit to the 633 North Michigan Avenue store.
I walked into the store and I was directed to Jamie Bennett. Jamie looked at the umbrella and said, "oh, we don't have any of these umbrella pieces in the store." I said no problem, I can leave the umbrella so it can be sent out for repair. He explained that he didn't think Burberry was in the business of repairing umbrellas. I couldn't understand this concept. I asked Jamie to take my name and phone number and to get back to me with some answers about how I should go about getting my umbrella repaired. I have yet to hear from him. I have yet to go back to the store too.
I am a consumer of many high end products. In fact, during this same week I dropped a purse off a Gucci because of the lining. It wasn't my newest Gucci, but the sales consultant didn't care. She took the product and sent it out for repair. I had a Tiffany bracelet and the clasp was broken. Tiffany took the bracelet and repaired the item without charging me.
The bottom line is, I paid a lot of money for an umbrella that I can't use it when it rains. I did not ask for the umbrella to be repaired for free. I am offended that Jamie Bennett didn't think it was worth his while to contact me with an answer to my question. He couldn't be bothered with finding out where to repair a product I love. What Jamie doesn't know, is that the umbrella is not the only Burberry product I have in my closet. I'm also sure Jamie thought when I walked out of the door he would never hear about this again.
The interesting thing is that I called the store to speak with the store manager. I woman by the name of Nikita answered the phone and told me that she is not at liberty to give me that information. Nikita further explained that she could direct me to someone of the floor. Really?
