Food Basics - Treated poorly by manager

Two days ago on May 6 th 2023 I came shopping to the food basic at 199 simcoe st Keswick. I bought three oranges for 99 cents a pound as well as the rest of my shopping They were great so today I drove back there after work to get more. They didn’t have a there price sign up but I assumed they were the same price since we are still on the same weeks pricing. It’s Monday Went to the cash and it came up more than twice as much. I ask the cashier to check it out and I showed her the receipt I still had from two days prior. She went to inquire and returned saying the manager said that it was a “one day only” sale so I asked to see the flyer and we both couldn’t find where it said that. She called the manager over and I explained my concern and that I wanted the oranges for the same price I paid for 2 days ago. He again rudely repeated what the cashier said that it was for one day only “probably”. So I ask him to show me the sign. He refused and said sorry that’s just how it is sometimes we sell just for one day to move product Of course I said that why wouldn’t he put up a sign saying that? He said they don’t have to. I was upset because I drove 20 mins just for that. Because they were good and a great price. He just was smirking and so matter of fact very arrogant even though I was calmly explaining my situation. This person is not good dealing with customers. I was surprised because I’ve spent so much money at this location. Customers do not deserve this My name is Cora Seville. [protected]@gmail.com. Desired outcome: I would like the oranges for the price I paid two days ago. And I hope he has to retrain on how to deal with a MINOR dispute with a longtime customer in a small town
